All skill, no luck. No such thing as “I didn’t anticipate that”. Excellent fish from shore man!!! One of the best to do it!!
LOL! Thanks.
is this a pond?
Awesome video you're making me miss my hometown Staten island used to fish the storm jetty and catch huge fluke
Thanks for the upload.
Great video. I've been hitting hard, and the bite is so slow I think the rain we had has something to do with it. single jig 6 in white gulp jerbait is my go-to in the spring they are finicky this spring. You give me hope.
It will get better! Just remember that in past years the season use to start at the end of May. It’s about to blow up! So be ready 😁
Spring fluking is the trickiest time of the season. Cold water temps, rain, pollen, stained water to name a few. You have a lot stacked against you but the reward is catching a big breeder in the Spring.
OK, I need a video of you and your cousin Roger @cookingandfishing do a competition on the most fluke and size! Using the rig and the suspending jerk bait .
Love your videos ,thnx!
Great video Marcy marc
Shore-money always delivers! Quality vid mate

Great video and instruction! What do you recommend for line and leader for the single jig application? Thanks

Hi!thanks for your videos.
where do you get the rod holder stand?
Thanks! I use a Daiwa presso rod stand. There are other replicas out there that I will be testing this year. Thanks!
Which type of tide has worked out better for you by the creek side?
It varies quite a bit. I would say fish both sides of the tide and find the time they feed. That pattern usually would not last for more than a few weeks.
whats your biggest fluke to date?
From shore it's 26", 7.75lbs.
