Oh, great timing. I just finished my Adriane pants from Pattern Cos today. I really like the pattern and fit. The only thing I struggle with was a video tutorial, it really isn't for begginers ;) And I wish the sizing would be a bit more inclusive, I made the last size of this pants and they are tiny little bit snug. But otherwise I really enjoyed making.

I really am glad to have found your channel through suggestions. Usually the suggested channels are lame. The past few years has been harder to find fun clothing designs. Most independent companies look all the same with the same designs. What you present are fun items that are different.
I've gotten older but nowhere near dead yet... Though most seem to think that past 40, I should become dowdy. At 56, I am still growing old disgracefully and got at least another forty years of life to go. Still am a middle aged nerdy Goth.
Mostly I sew things for my youngest daughter or my grandson. There are only so many black scrubs to sew up for my daughter. It takes some time to come up a good twist on scrubs that look both edgy and very practical that will stand up to 10+ years of wear. Next year she will enter medical school and would love to have black doctor's coats. My grandson has enough plush monsters and preschool nerdy Goth outfits. My other kids aren't as fun.
Coming across so many of the different independent companies you present gave me visions of having my own fabric store and sewing center with classes. Well I can dream.
    Thank you!

Oh, love good cargo pants! I fell in love with them about 10 years ago (from Duluth Trading) as comfy & functional while working on home projects, but are my main wear when I leave the house. And I've been collecting nice bottom weight fabrics, but never sure if worth trying a pattern when it's only shown on skinny models... Love how this looks & on my list!! Love that you're introducing us to more Indie designers that think about the fit on real bodies! Thank you!

Yesss to Duluth cargos! I’ve been buying them every year they change design….but I’m trying to figure out a Jean pattern as a base to make my own cargos. But Duluth makes them to last and I’ve been looking for the same fabrics they use.

@@mcf5878 I love my camo color, but each color fits a little different... Grrr, and the dark blue is a magnet for every loose thread & cat hair! I get the curved waist band, and fo take it in a bit. Love the hidden zip & cell phone pockets!!

This is such an inspirational video. the only pattern company I was familiar with before watching was PatternCos, which I absolutely love. I have a couple of her patterns. She has a Chanel inspired jacket pattern and the video tutorial is brilliant.
Tytka studios is pulling at my heart, as I want to make bags this year.
I also want to try Les Perlines. I really love that the patterns are showcased on fuller bodies. I want to try The Palma dress and the Cove slip dress.
I want to sew the Henrietta dress from Spaghetti patterns. I love it.
Thank you so much for introducing me to new designers.

Lovely selection - I watched this while working on my first Forest & Thread pattern! I'm making the 24/7 Cami at the moment but all her finishing details are so lovely (french seams, bound buttonholes) and she puts up tutorials for those of us who are earlier in our sewing journeys.
    Also, I didn't know I need four-wine-bottle picnics.

As always, a thoroughly interesting video! I will definitely be off to look at these designers in more depth. I do though want to (gently!) take issue with the 'craft' comment about bags. That might have been the case some time back but thanks to companies like Noodle Head, and the huge range of interfacing available, bag-making has come a long way. I have made the Making Backpack twice in a floral corduroy and I often get asked where I bought it from!
