While that's an interesting fact, it's kinda funny to imagine some viruses just having normal names for no reason. Get into a random encounter and suddenly you're fighting three Steves.

Tournament scenarios in this game I think are neat: - Yuko (It's okay, I guess. It ties into some BBS information about Ghost Navis later on, and it's not too tedious. Also the only time Hub comes up in the game.) - TopMan (Tensuke manages to strike a fun line between crotchety and charming for me. He created a crappy Navi just to make his grandkid happy. And the secrets you get from the Boomer Club tell you how his attacks work before the boss fight.) - SparkMan (Easy to cheese with the cipher. Thanks speedrun strats.) - AquaMan (Fairly short and the Soul you get for it is kinda decent.) - Flave (Minigame sucks, but it feels like the inspiration for Shokugeki no Souma, and that's worth the price of admission to me.) - Roll (It's the only time you get to fight her and her Soul is pretty OP defensively, if a bit lacking offensively.) - JunkMan (It's short and the only time you visit Yumland in the last tournament, which is a really visually interesting area architecturally.) I want to like Crasher (old lady doing the Shun Goku Satsu), MetalMan (drunk guy calling you IDJIT and making you buy him booze), and KendoMan (Mr. Famous "sealing a guy's technique" by breaking his arms). Unfortunately, everything in those scenarios aside from those moments suck ass. And the other scenarios are just whatever or outright frustrating to me.

Boktai, despite it's crossovers with megaman, is an INCREDIBLY niche franchise in the west, so folks like me who love the game just get happy at the game getting MERE ATTENTION, in an english audience.

actually, "violence on kid" doesn't have to wait till BN6, in BN3 and 4, the moment Lan go to another country, he seems to get beat up by foreigners so i guess the magic barrier prevent any violence only work in ACDC town.
Man I'm not looking forward to the style shift from BN3 to BN4. I've gotten so used to it it'll be a new visual nightmare to experience this dystopian series with.

The lethal part of full synchro is that damage to the Navi is interpreted as fatal to the human brain. But since Match doesn't have a brain, he probably only felt a mild itch that he confused for his need to commit arson.
WHAT!?!?!?! he had 2000 hp and struggled against laser man!? on my most recent playthrough i had 390 maximum hp and was able to beat him after a couple tries!
I've also wondered about the missing chips. I could see Lan selling or giving his collection away between 3 and 4 because MegaMan is gone, but the rest couldn't tell you. I like and dislike the dystopian reality of forcing children to need to net battle to keep their shit running, but every iteration of the PET isn't compatible with old series battlechips, forcing zenny to be churned out anew for a "new" set of chips every fourish months.
I got flave, burnerman, and metalman. Flave's scenario is bad (i know there's worse), i kinda like burnerman's design (and that he's a darkloid in the anime), and metal soul is cool so there's that
I tried it out with the Star Force 2 VODs a while back and people didn't really seem to like it, so I held a poll and these individual weekly uploads won out instead.
