I was totally honoured to be a headliner at the first ever MIGS - Montreux International Guitar Show. Montreux provided a stunning setting for a celebration of our beloved instrument, with luminaries from the world of guitar luthiery, amps and effects alongside guitarists from around the world. The concert itself was in a beautiful, intimate theatre, with amazing lighting design by Steve Wary. I was able to get that deep emotional connection with the audience which maybe I might not expect at a trade show. Vive MIGS!

I went to college with Jon and his wife. I was also an older student as well. I knew even then Jon was good, Watching seeing him in the bar or the sessions with our course head you knew jonn was going far as his skills were really that good. Proudly told a few people about Jon over the years and will tell more too.

After Covid restrictions were lifted, to get his confidence back Jon performed a test concert in our tiny village hall in Wilsden UK. So lucky to be there. What a treat to the ears. Great rapport with the audience. Instant fan. Check him out. He’s unique.Amazing.

Love realy how you speak open about ADHD and ASD. We discover over the past years, that our youngest kid is ADHD and ASD, she suffer very hard at school so, that we have switch to a spezialized private school. You and other that are open speaking open about their ADHD and ASD, are good examples for this is only another normal for my kid.

Is real common these days! Even I can do it!! Strange brain? he admitted?? No joke! I can only imagine !? That a hit of LSD comes with the price of admission! Just being honest!!!

I was about to ask what tuning does Jon use for his songs... then I realized... dumb question... haha
serious goosebumbs, up and down the gig. It's interesting, how audiences "deal" with neurodivergent people like you, Jon. They just don't, I mean, of course. Bit overwhelmed. When someone unveils his/her inner state or vulnerabilities, it means a bloody superpower, it's also kinda responsibility for the other party not to screw that up, right? Everyone is tense and afraid not to do/say the wrong thing, because there ain't cultural rules for interacting with that sweet & genuine people, which are just creators and decided to do unique concerts until the end of their damn live, like you. (hopefully).

Perfect, the only thing that bothers me is the delay and reverb on "Everything" song. That song was made to be played dry, at least he removed the heavy effects from the voice. And I'm in the tabs waiting room for "A little respect".

Gomm's playing becomes tedious almost immediately. His playing is like that annoying Polish guy Marcin Patrzalek.
He has to focus so much on getting his annoying percussive rattles and tappings in sync that the beauty of the melody is lost.
Beautiful guitar playing is also about what you leave out.
