    What a spectacular way of getting supper! That fake-out trick the one eagle uses just shows how smart these birds are.
    What beautiful birds.

    The maneuver described at 5:45 is amazing. So much strategy from nature.

    Enjoyed the episode. The conditions can be even more challenging than the quarry, but with favourable, weather there's no better sport than hawking blue hare in the highlands of Scotland.

    Love to watch this magnificent sport but can't for the life of me understand why this is legal & hunting hare with sight hounds is not ? Maybe a class thing!!

    • @stevehove2648
      @stevehove2648 5 лет назад

      Maybe because it's one on one with an eagle/hare and with dogs, its often two chasing one hare? Maybe its public perception thing too? People like to see BOP.

    Where do the Hare's come from? Like are they just standing in the open when the birds are released? Are they ferreted out by the dogs? I have zero experience/knowledge of ...is it called falconry?

    Ironic this estate is letting you use domesticated birds of prey to hunt. Pity lots of estates grudge wild birds of prey doing the same and wipe them out instead.

    Birds of pray should be released back into the wild not kept as pets and a very poor excuse to say they are used to control vermin

    • @tanako98
      @tanako98 6 лет назад +1

      Thats not a pet bird, if anything this bird becomes smarter by eating other prey aside from hares. Do your research!!!not any Joe can do this. This takes many many weeks of teaching and training.

      Back into the wild? WTF are you talking about they were all bred in captivity! that is why they don't need an excuse. Why let people think you are an idiot, open your mouth or make a stupid comment & prove them right!
