Interesting place.Marie and I always seem to find old cemeteries when we are out camping and traveling. Up near our cabin there was an old mining town that was swallowed by the state forest. The cemetery is all that remains visible. Nice exploration.
Interesting abandoned town. Nothing a dumpster or 10 couldn’t make a dent in😂. I think the people that have the vision and resources to save these old company towns have the right idea. Lynn, I like the Open Roads shirt. I found out about them through you and Mike. It’s saved me big $ in diesel plus I like the convenience of DEF from the pump!
Yeah I think you might need more than 10 dumpsters🤣 I commend him for trying or having the vision and want to fix these houses up, but time will tell if it actually happens
Very interesting town and history. It will take a lot of $$$ and effort to do something with the property and buildings that the owner might like to do.
It would take an insane amount of time, effort and money just to renovate/fix up ONE house/building let alone a few streets of them. Guess time will tell if anything actually happens or not
Hi guys! Haven't watched you in awhile (work life!) Glad to catch a video & see where you're at. I'm in SW PA myself! You was in my neck of the woods. About an hour north from me 🤘😎 cool video!
Great video, amazing places like that still standing.over here in UK we don't have anything like that probably because we haven't the space lol . And sorry got to say it 2 houses joined are called semi detached houses. 👍
There's so many cool abandoned places! This one was cool but we've seen better. Still a good way to spend the afternoon. Thanks for the lesson on duplexes and semi detached houses🤣
@WanderingWagners most old buildings here either get renovated or demolished nothing seems to be left to go wild well a few old factories do while they discuss what happens to them. But yeah love the places you get to see .
I'm not sure that having "Creepy Baby Doll" nightmares for the next week would be worth the cost of admission. Still, this highlights all the interesting things out there for those that make the effort to seek them out.
I'm willing to bet some of the people who previously toured this place did most of the baby doll setups. They found toys and wanted to make it look creepy is my guess but still haha Interesting place to see either way!
Just so you know AI doesn't care for your biflex home. But AI does like duplex for two family home. Now I was just down in New Orleans and shotgun homes look like a duplex home. I also know you said you didn't care, but I don't listen. I'm from Michigan. 😂❤
Paneling back in the 70’s and 80’s was big. My aunt and uncle’s houses sported it. The military housing we lived in, sported concrete cinder blocks and painted for 3 years then you moved. I did that until I graduated high school. I went to college for 3 semesters and joined the army. I actually enjoyed moving to a new post then. I wanted to retire in the military but Clinton (Dem) kicked me out. Reduction of Forces in Europe. 1.5 million troops. I came back to America in 1994 and paneling wasn’t popular. I will eventually build a log home, once I am done traveling when I retire. Probably, Montana or Wyoming. You will be welcome to stay on my land.

Cemeteries are something we like to explore too!
Seeing one in the forest would be pretty cool though!
We love to go en visit PA back in the 80's I wish we could see those old homes back when they were new. 😮So sad to see them go.😢
Pa has a lot of good abandoned places like the old turnpike and lots of mining towns and mines themselves.
Biplex has load bearing carpet. Duplex has hardwood.
A single family farmhouse had load bearing carpet🤣
Really cool video I enjoyed the yellow dog town that was pretty cool and that goose sure was wanting to get you hahaha 😆
Thanks for watching! That goose was pretty feisty!🤣

Thanks for the video!
Very welcome! Thank you for watching😁
Where I live those side by side duplexes are called a twinplex.
Interesting! Never heard of that before but makes sense😊
Thanks for sharing!
Of course!😊 thanks for watching!

There really are a lot in pa! We've been to a few but seems there's always another here to check out
Hi both of you. Enjoy stay safe 👍🫶🇬🇧

Work always gets in the way of the good stuff😁 we had a good time visiting pa- this time was short but we will be back!
Lynn is looking beautiful as always!
Appreciate that👏🏻

That was fun thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Been waiting for this one....spooky
Hopefully it doesn't disappoint!😊
WOW 😮 I never seen that
It was quite an interesting place to visit
The main reason for closing was that they ran out of water and could not afford to tap into a city supply...
Interesting!
They had people there until 2010 or so and the current owner and a few others reside better currently in the back row of houses
Why am I itchy watching this?! 😂 that’s a pretty cool place. Go back next year I bet ol boy is still working on that one floor. 😂😂
😂 you're probably right about that! Not sure if many of those houses are worth saving
That’s funny I’m also camping at my parent’s farm
Awesome! Last week's video featured that trip😊
Hey some of those are move in ready. How cool would it be to buy the town.
Yeah there are some other abandoned towns also in pa that are/were in movies! Pennsylvania and the rust belt have quite a few ghost towns
Think most buildings are in disrepair for years before they are abandoned
Sad but very likely true
I’ve been to Fayetteville. It’s cool.
That was a very cool town and so well maintained!
Being old like that, you may be opening yourself up to asbestos contact. Be careful when exploring!
Oh yeah we always are mindful of that

We enjoyed ourselves😊
Looks like a movie set
It kind of does! There's another abandoned town in pa that actually was in a movie I believe
You found your sun glasses lol
They were never lost lol had I buy these in multiples but recently my last pair broke before I got the replacements haha all better now
🍺 🍺 🍺 🍻
🍻 cheers!

The house Lynn grew up in was ancient... Paneling was an upgrade for that house🤣

Haha anything is possible
@WanderingWagners happy to know. Thank you ❤️

Thanks for watching!
Eerie. And you never know who took up residence in a home like this. Exercise situational awareness and the 2nd amendment.
No worries we are always strapped
@ I think Chuck keeps his pepper spray in Alli’s purse.
@@RabbiJesus no pepper spray here. Just lead haha
@@WanderingWagnersStaccato C or a 43x is usually on me. Good to have if things start going sideways.
I wouldn’t spend a penny on that dump
Then don't lol
Ya'll need a shower now
No kidding! We both washed our hands and blew our noses as soon as we got back in the RV
Miss your beautiful bikinis ❤
They will always be back!
@WanderingWagners 💋❤️
Can't wait!
