Hii , a tip from me , what I do with long books like that , just as I did with the song of Ice and fire series , when they give you a list of characters at the end take the time before starting the book to make a large "family tree" or multiple ones for the kingdoms and families involved, and as the story progresses write down the ways that they are related and stuff it's really helpful ... A lot of work but honestly the only way for me to get through the beginning of such books ♥

Not a lot of anatomy or alchemy but in The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, one of our main character, the one we actually see most of our main characters, was training to become a surgeon but ended up in the army! We do have a bunch of scenes that focus on the surgeon aspect! It is 1007 pages tho! I do recommend it! (Actually picked it up after Priory of the Orange tree!) - also loved your vlog!

If i read books in one time i usually forget the whole story except some moments in the book. It's really annoying because I forget the endings too

Hello Leonie! Such a pretty name.🌻 I am Madhubarshi from Kolkata, India. I had this in TBR list, too. Also, just wanna say, what camera do you use to shoot your videos? They come out real nice. ❤️ I love your content and your chirpy nature even. 💕🌸

Thought you should know that there's a book out there called A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan. Its a fantasy series with short instalments about a Victorian-ish lady naturalist studying dragons! Might hit the spot for you
