I got to give you credit... you're a rare breed not too many people can hold my interest for so long for the length of a feature length movie all based on one person's monologue and their music and editing skills. You're a one man media production company
You got that absolutely right...we have a rare breed of natural entertainer with good taste for music, good filmography, and above all good content. When it comes to taste the reason he doesn't have a million views already as to be because the world was made upside down...
How do you know he doesn't have a lil team behind the filmography? Not being sarcastic, but first timer here, and I was just thinking how well this is done, love the quick cuts, I too am not getting bored, which is rare for this content, because I actually live right here, in the center of the loop he did. But I was just pondering if he does it all by himself. First thing I do is check subscribers, than how many videos creators have posted, to see if it's even feasible to have help.. So, really... all himself? Or was that a guess... Good day! 🏕
THANK YOU ! for hauling out other people’s trash from the trail. Some folk actually think the maid passes by in the morning to clean up after them! Leave No Trace. Enjoyed this special treat and enjoyed the comparisons to the 2015 hikes. Keep steppin’!!
I don't think people think that I think people don't think at all and it's the people whose families have been on state help for multiple generations that litter.
Great Video, Robby, and congratulations on getting married this year! When I see a post on the AA channel, everything stops, and it's time to watch! You never disappoint!
I remember AA's Smokies episode. Andrew and Bryan had it pretty rough with the terrain and weather. A nostalgic return on an enjoyable Robby solo trek. 👍
The episode of the three of you doing this the last time was my all time favorite. It was especially cool because you all went different routes and then met back up together with COMPLETELY different experiences to share. I remember thinking how in the world did Robby get the easy hike when he's got the most energy out of all of them! Watching Andrew and Bryan was painful at times then the next scene, Robby's there with nothing to do. "Doot dee doot dee doo." It was too funny. Oh! And the letter from Thomas! Good stuff! I haven't finished viewing this new one yet - just wanted to post this before I forgot. 😁
Absolutely loved that original Smoky Mountain video you all did. Watch it a lot to see the journey each of you went on and the different mental perspectives everyone had. Really cool to see you re-trace Andrew's suffer-fest.
I will be doing some hiking and camping this summer also. I like getting away from the city life. No traffic. No cars. Just pristine nature. Fresh clean air. Peace and quiet.
My wife and I did a very similar loop in 2015. It was so fun to watch this video and relive some of those experiences! And also be reminded of how tough the Snake Den Ridge trail is. We still talk about that one…
This was the finest AA video as of yet. I have been following for a few years and as a fellow content creator from a very different genre, I have to give you huge props!! The storyline, the intro and exits, the Segway’s, the music overlays… This is PBS quality content. Congrats!!!
Great video. I can not tell you how much I enjoyed the bloopers at the end. Also it makes me smile when you are enjoying your food you make even a protein bar seem delicious.
Robbie, I have watched you and the guys literally drive past me so many times on your way to adventures! (Bellevue, KY) Love the content, love the stories! Thank you!
Robby, that was very enjoyable. You are very entertaining all by yourself. I love how much you love food no matter how humble it is. Before I knew anything about Adventure Archives, it was you I found a hiking video on, doing some hike in Tennessee. Great job.
Yeah!!! So worth it!! Awesome adventure. Have hiked that section of the smokies so many times camped in your footsteps. Always magical and full of beauty. This was a successful hike for you and celebrated your joy with you
You remembered those folks buried there, when you stopped and read their names. I read an article about some caverns in France that were used by the French, American and German troops during World War I. A lot of the soldiers carved their names in the limestone down in the caves. The entrances to these sires were on private property and one of the owners said that he goes down once a year and speaks their names. That way the man was honoring those forgotten souls. I always dip my fries in the Frosty!😊😎
I was thinking that the post hike meal would have been the snails you encountered along the way. Nice epi, I like the smokies. I hope to see the gang together for the Porcupine Mountains Up North.
I was just watching a Quadzilla video before yours and then I saw this and was like hold up… hahah so wild you just happened across randomly him in the Smokies. Legendary hiker collab!
I was surprised to hear music that didn’t sound like yours! It’s good too… And I loved the jazzy one while you broke first camp… Man, that was a GREAT movie! My favorite, so far…😊
I remember that trip years ago ! Great trip ! You did a great solo vlog. The Cherokee name for snake is INADU.. there are timber rattlesnake dens on those ridges N. E. Of the Cosby campground & a ridge called INADU there as well..I enjoyed this one for sure. Glad you didn't get tagged on those very grown up trails ! That's they're favorite ambush spots for rodents ! 😊
This was a cool idea Robby! You're brave to hike the Smokies in the weather you can wear time of year, which coincides with overgrown-a-palooza. Locals coming from Cosby to Cammerer typically head up to Low Gap, and then over on the AT. That means Lower Cammerer gets relatively little attention. Super cool to see Quadzilla!
Thanks so much for the great video. Your energy is contagious :-) And to Gravy-I am so inspired by your tenacity and perseverance. I hurt myself training for the Camino de Santiago and have been feeling really low. You are both a great reminder to look beyond the limitations we place on ourselves.
That's so true about protein/power bars! Looks better than they taste. Never heard them used in the same sentence as Stockholm Syndrome, but I feel that 😂 Brilliant video again, thanks.
At 63 years old now in my life I’m exactly 75% you in loving the solo Mother Nature.Love walking / hiking in the woods solo as my 100 % favorite enjoyment to do and what we all can see and find which never ever surprises most like you & I.Im fortunate that the forest that I go and hike weekly goes from my state to the next state .My mood and style is exactly how I see you love this. Its a blessing G D’s gift to enjoy creation without people creating it.Amen .Very nice vid.
Rob, Chicken and Rice like that is a Southern staple. First you boil a whole hen until done. In the broth from boiling the chicken you boil your rice. Shred the chicken and add it back to the pot. Boom!
Awesome video! My brother has a cabin across the valley in Cosby that has an awesome view of Mt.Cammerer and the Fire lookout. He has hiked all of those trails in the area.
Still in shock that you ran into Quadzilla. You two are my main RUclips guilty pleasures and to see you run into him on trail is so wild! Great video as usual my man, see you on the next one! -Dirty Dave
OMG YESSSS another Solo Robby trip! I love these so much!!! 2 this month? How lucky are we! His solo videos (especially) just bring me so much peace.💙Also yessss "float on" by modest mouse! Reminds me of my high school days! Great song and yes great message about learning things in life! 💙
I will spend hours and hours in nature. I love the peace and quiet. If you ask me, nature is good for your mind, body, and soul. I go hiking at Rainier National Park in Seattle. Most of the trails are paved. Olympic National Park at the coast is super popular for hikers and campers. Everyone likes hiking on a beach and staring at the ocean at night when they camp there. It's not Hawaii. But it's the next best thing.
I highly recommended your group come backpacking the Art Loeb Trail and you will be glad you came. It’s not too far from the Smoky. If you added Cold Mountain, it still under 40 miles.
Nothing like a good P**p in the makeshift potty in the woods. Love this video and you! (Hearts go out to Andrew having done that gnarly trails with 12 extra lbs in the pouring rain!)
Nice one Robby. You take me back to my thru hike in '96. I remember it was still snowing at Crosby Knob when I came through in early May. That was a cold night. Your blooper reel made me laugh out loud. You have come a LONG way since your early days. Keep on hiking!
When you mentioned the pancake shaped food from the comic your Dad read 🥞 When you referenced 'artist conk' it was actually a 22:11 Reishi mushroom, the mushroom of immortality ❤🍄 47:37 Artists Conks 🎨 Sorry to correct you but it was such a great sighting, there were so many! 😊 Also, AWESOME VIDEO! 💎
Considered getting a camo rain-guard so you can also stow your backpack when you divert from the trail (like the .6 mile peak side trail) then come back to the same spot so you can conserve energy? Just an idea :)
I was just in that same part of the smokies a couple weeks ago. Crazy that you ran into quadzilla, been a follower of his for a long time. Robby I'm convinced you are the easiest person to please when it comes to food lol. Some stuff that I won't touch you love. That's a good thing I think. Thanks for sharing the trip with us all, hike on!
This video was easy to watch and lots of fun. It reminds me a great deal of when I hiked in the past. I think you see so many baby graves stones because when adults die, sometimes no one put up a gravestone for them.

So cool! That you ran into him and friends!
Quadzilla! A legend. - and 60 cents!
Nice! I just finished a quadzilla video before this one!
Hey it was great to run into you, really enjoy how you put together your videos I'll be taking notes and lessons!
I got to give you credit... you're a rare breed not too many people can hold my interest for so long for the length of a feature length movie all based on one person's monologue and their music and editing skills. You're a one man media production company
Agree 💯 ✌️

Quadzilla, the hiking beast! Weird seeing one of your favourite RUclipsrs randomly bump into another one of your favourite RUclipsrs 😊
That’s what I was thinking. What are the chances?!?!
Was just about to say the same haha! Been following Quadzilla’s budget hike, so crazy to see him and Robby running into each other lol
@@Dmattsonlaurentwhat quadzilla episode does he mention Robbie? Been looking for it, please
I saw quadzillas video first and was wondering if he was gonna show up in yours, so cool to see you also put him in your video 😊
@@kellymccarter6032 hey! It’s Quadzilla’s “Max Patch” video from a couple weeks ago

Running into Robby/AA guys would definitely be fun trail magic.
Still waiting for the day Robbie says "YO bear!" and a bear pops out and says "YO Robbie"
You think it's funny. But then he asks for your wallet.
😆 I'm just waiting for them to finally bump into a squatch
Robbie’s solo camping trips are by far my favorite!!!
This video is a masterpiece! You should win awards! Thank you so much for sharing.
Yes! Finally an Appalachian episode with full foliage. Also, Robbie’s solo episodes always have the best music
Geraldine largay probably wished there was no foliage on the trees when she hiked the AT and here you are wishing for foliage.
This 4th of July weekend. The trails are packed with people. Young and old. Everyone is going out for hiking, camping, and enjoying nature.
Yes! Finally an Appalachian episode with full foliage)))
I must admit, I do appreciate the new frequency of the channel videos. Keep up the good work!
On top of hiking he has to film, and take videos of great areas. such an awesome job.
Adventures archives inspired me so much so that I am taking my first steps for long hikes.. yay!!!
Love the bloopers at the end. Great touch 😂
I find this walking vlog style with b-rolls of the surroundings as you hike quite enjoyable ngl.
Quadzilla is a legendary hiker! So cool you ran into him along the way.
I remember AA's Smokies episode. Andrew and Bryan had it pretty rough with the terrain and weather. A nostalgic return on an enjoyable Robby solo trek. 👍
Totally addicted to your videos. Thanks for all your hard work!

Go Robbie go!
Thank you for the video
Love this channel! This video is timed perfectly. Just got back from the Smokies, but planning a big hiking trip this fall.
Great video man. When its buggy at your all night campsite build a little fire and put green leaves on it and the bugs will leave.
I so enjoy your solo hikes; more hiking, more miles, less plant identification. And how cool was it that you met Quadzilla. Great video. Thanks.
