    The parking brake has a rev limiter. Sometimes that mechanism sticks. I believe it’s near the rear brakes. There is a way to delete it. You’ll have to search to find the right video on it.

    I have same problem with it bogging when I pin throttle. Pulled carb apart, accelerator pump rod was sticking. Ordered new set, spring, rod, and bushing. Hoping that fixes it

    We had the same issue on our 1987 Warrior, and we replaced the stator. That seemed to fix it. I guess it gave it more electricity to keep running good at higher RPMs.

    Hey I watch trailbloggers Carb cleaning on his warrior and he mentions nothing on the stock weak spring.. can you please elaborate on the specifics of which spring. It would make sense it’s in the carb but it seems like you change the spring in the throttle if it has one. Thanks!

    I know it was 6 years ago but do you happen to have any videos of you pressing the throttle before you fixed it? if so please let me know I starting having I think a similar issue with mine a few days ago and I am trying to find some information about it.

    For my warrior it was my float level was to high the needle and float were so old the needle pounded a little hole in the adjustable tab on the float and naturally raised the level until it wouldn't want to move

      Joshua Ciano I think that's the accelerator pump return spring. It's in the float bowl if I remember correctly.

      Accellerator pump gets tight in the hole, need to scotchbrite it, and take a gun cleaning kit and clean out the hole for it in the bottom float bowl.

    the back fire can come from pipe leak at the head,i know this ,fact I got two warriors and any time the pipe leaks any at all it will back fire.this will happen when you let off the gas ,and your jet stock is a 145 jet,also clean your air filter.check and make sure your jet is 145 ,that's stock.

    He don't have a air filter on it and if dirt gets in the carb it's not going to run

      Try checking the CDI(black box on back) and the one next to it, then check to see if it will get a little rev, after that try adjusting the air/fuel mix screw on the bottom of the carb(this should use a flat head screwdriver) make sure the screw is set 2out, the timing chain could also be too tight or loose,

    Mine wont start, i Changed the sparkplug, the starter, the starter relay, took the carb apart and cleaned it multiple Times, the acxelarator pump is Moving smooth and the battery is at 13,5 volts. I have a spark, compression and i adjusted the carb to normal setting. Sometimes its a starting, when i push it on. I bought it and it Was starting very good, but it was getting worse and worse just after i bought it. I dont know what the problem is

    You put a lot of emphasis on this spring that you changed but you don’t offer much detail as to where the spring was and how to change it. Can you elaborate plz?

      my bad, watch Trailbloggers video on it, it was a while ago and its hard to explain

    • @jeffh4505
      @jeffh4505 3 года назад +2

      The spring he changed is the accelerator pump spring. It's not hard to explain. You remove the bowl, remove the accelerator pump rod, and the spring will be below it. Remove the old spring and install the new spring. Done.
