I found this song while looking through my old piano music. I don't think I ever played it this well, and I think it frustrated me a lot, but looking back I'm glad I went through all those years of piano lessons. It's given me a greater love and appreciation for music
I like to give a try, when I am ready. Practicing Moonlight sonata 1st movement at the moment. I am so happy that I have survived life’s challenges, and discovered joy of playing piano. Lucky us who can watch RUclips and get inspired by Paul and other dedicated musicians. Thank you, Paul. Blessings to you, your family and friends!
Oh thank you. I'm learning this and excited by the fingering and watched your hands carefully... and loved the way you brought it to life - delicacy and loveliness.
You might achive a better tone if your elbows were at the same height as the keyboard, but also sink your fingers into the bed of the keys instead of poking at them. It also doesn't help when you raise your shoulders, constricting/raising the hand and reducing the tone. This performance is quite good but could do with more loving affection. Listen to Håkon Austbø who is going in the right direction for this piece, but he could have gone farther.
The control of the tempo, the dynamics, just WOW
Could have been even better if the accompaniment was less-notey, and U.C. would have made the sound more intimate.

Grieg's 'Lyric Pieces' have these beautiful melodies that just seem to stick in my mind.

A perfect piece for a piano student's first try at E-flat major.

Omg he's a great pianist
Could you do a tutorial an advanced tutorial for Chopin's Ballade No. 1 in g minor? (If you haven't already)

Hey Paul, I was jus wondering if you can someday play the lullaby from tribute to foster by Grainger?
nearly did that one some time back, I have the score and it works really well with the harmonic pedal.
Paul Barton It would be really great if you could perform such amazing piece!!
Hi Paul, have you a rendition of Chopin’s Souvenir de Paganini, or a tutorial.. not much guidance for this song online. Thanks

0:34 that "F" is played too long
0:41 that "D" is just a quaver, it is too long when played by you
