@@Fxrai_invested I have the 8GB / 256 GB SSD . I only use the laptop for trading and I’m able to use TradingView with my other programs all running together pretty flawlessly!! It’s amazing and I have zero complaints.
What do you think, is the MBA m3 15” good enough for several Zoom meetings a day using share screen all the time? One or two Chrome Tabs would be used simultaneously. Also, are you happy with the webcam? Does it need good lighting or can it be used in low light conditions? Thank you!
I think it's a home compute for everyone. I always like my m1 Mac mini, I plug tons of device on it, my printer, lable maker, speakers. Everyone in the family use it for their own things.
I have no idea why people complain about the 8GB base RAM, as Apple has a 16GB version in the stores. If Apple did not have an 8GB base, as some people argue, then the price of the 16GB would obviously remain as it is. So, by having the 8GB option, Apple is opening up the market for those with lower disposable income. That is good for consumers, and why do people get so upset about extra choices? Puzzling. I can only give my experience using the base MB Pro 13 M1 for 3.5 years. It has never missed a beat, so it is enough for casual, average ultrabook users. Would we all like a free lunch? Yes, but the naivety that people are complaining about an 8GB base and expecting the same price of £1100 for a 16GB/512GB MB Air 13 is ridiculous. My back-of-the-newspaper calculations would suggest that it would cost Apple $0.5-$1,000,000 in lost profit. I am sure shareholders would have something to say about that! My opinion: the MB Air remains the best ultrabook out there, and we await the Snapdragon X Elite to see if this changes. Thanks for the update.
No no no. They need be charging the same amount as 8GB but including the base model with 16GB. Apple charges $200 for upgrading ram to 16Gb from 8, in reality that should actually cost like $40
@@jaredowner, why are the XPS 14, LG Gram 14, Surface Laptop 6, Galaxy Book4 Pro, etc., not charging $1100 for 16GB? You cannot make one rule for Apple, which has only 8% of the market share, and another for Windows machines. That is unfair and highly unreasonable. The equilibrium price for premium ultrabooks with 16GB/512GB is $150$1600, and Apple is within that price range. So what you ask for is unrealistic and, TBH, incomprehensible on a common sense basis. FYI, MS charges $300 to upgrade from 8GB to 16 GB.
@@jaredowner You need considering the screen, speaker , chips, build quality, and other things as a whole package for it. I don't think they ask more than Microsoft and other big brand's top line product. And as an everyday normal person's computing, Mac OS is so much easier for me than windows. The software and system is specifically design for Macbook pro and MacBook Air, they don't need justify so much like windows laptop to compact with so much products line on the market.
My mom! Uses apps, does voice and cam google searches, uses X, posts comments against mediocre politicians. Even uses a gardening app to keep her plants healthy and nourished.
Love my MacBook Air M3! It's perfect for Trading!!! It's a money maker for me.

These are some very basic stuff, MBA can def handle it pretty easily

my mac book from 2011 can still do those thing lol so yes definitely , yes the webcam is pretty good but any webcam will look bad in poor lighting
