Ok, but the New Orleans Square trashcans literally helped derail a political career -- in the mid-00s, Kimberly Williamson Butler was running for mayor of the real New Orleans. On her website, she used a pic of herself standing in the French Quarter, but eagle eyed Disney fans realized it was actually NOS because of the trashcan!
If that isn't S tier, nothing is.

A Disney fan rite of passage. Not being able to find a place to sit at a quick service restaurant and using a trash can as a table.
I am a custodian at WDW and I can tell ya all of the weird stuff I see guests throw away. I most certainly know most of these trash cans just from taking their trash out.
As a former Custodial CM: The Brown Main Street with Plaque cans are the highest tier. Except when they are unbagged.
But additionally, the DREAM OF ALL CUSTODIANS at resorts was one of those pizza box cans. Nightmares of sports clubs with dozens of pizza boxes overflowing all of our cans. Awful. I cannot begin to express the distress.
I worked Main Street and AoA so I have opinions, hah! I am, however, wildly happy to say I was “inducted” by Push personally while training at MK. I miss that little fellow very, very much.

I also worked custodial (mostly Tomorrowland) and it was so long ago, PUSH was still entertaining guests while I was working too! Great times!

This is the Disney content I need more of. Next tier list, needs to be themed lights/lamps.
Two things about Disney trash cans: 1. At all food festivals, both Disney World and Disneyland, they're essentially the 'official tables', just saying.
2. RIP Push, best and only robot trash can ever
The Lego trash cans would get bumped up a tier if the "recycle" logo was printed as if it was a sticker on the side of one of the bricks.
So true story: I took my sister to Disneyland for her first time ever in 2013. Her very first official at-Disneyland photo was with a garbage can right inside the main entrance. She, like me, became a Disneyland fanatic on that first trip. When she took her daughter for her daughter's first trip last year, daughter also took the same photo. This past Christmas, I gave her a framed blow up of the photo and a miniature replica of the same can. I also gave the same gift to her daughter. 😂

I made myself a Disney Trash Can cake for my birthday this year! Each side was a different can, I did Small World, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Pixar Pier.

There are so many good Fantasyland trash cans in Anaheim! I love that the land has multiple styles of trash can depending on the specific area.

I believe it's the ironic mundane-ness of this video that makes me feel the same vibes of being inside the park. Something that an actual video of being inside of the park can't make me feel.
Fun fact: my car is named for a Disney Trash Can.
I have a little blue car, who is kind of a little trash can of a guy, and i thought...you know who Else is a little blue trash can???
So my car is named PUSH. I custom decorated a Car Cupholder Trash Can to look like Push as well. I'm hoping to get a bumper sticker of some kind to represent his name even further. I was lucky enough to meet PUSH in tomorrowland twice, and his memory will live on forever 😌

I remember back in 2007 or so, Disney auctioned off park trash cans on Ebay and they would go for about $50-$75 each.
I would pay for one absolutely now. Even just a reproduction. But a park used one? Oh man I wish I could have one

I shudder to think that there were early Disneyland guests that littered in front of Walt Disney himself. I also shuddered when the greenscreen made Dallin's pizza crust look moldy.
I think the Hollywood studios one is supposed to imply a clapboard rather than caution tape. But since it’s red instead of white, and there’s no other design cues from a clapboard, it’s still placed well on your tier list.

I agree with you. I think it’s a remnant from when they had the backlot tour and the signage was all red with black lettering.
I saw Push at Disneyland Paris when I was little.
He was super cool. It's surprising how entertaining a talking bin is to kids.
Walt wanted the cans to look nice, hold in the smell, not attract bees, could be easily emptied from the back. All, but one vendor said NO! The vendor that got the contract STILL has the contract! Thank YOU Walt! I got razzed by PUSH in Animal Kingdom about my Hawaiian shirt in November. LOL! Dallin, If you look inside the bins, you can see when they were last painted. There are stickers in there. Provost Park Pass did a video on it.

I can’t tolerate Push not being top dog here.
My dad could keep his cool through just about anything. I only ever saw something make his eyes go wide a couple of times, but when he went to throw away a cup on our way to Space Mountain and the trash can suddenly started talking he literally jumped six inches into the air.
I was so impressed that when I heard him giving a campaign speech to become mayor of tomorrow land after the ride I asked where I could cast a vote.
No trash receptacle could ever surpass Push.
I like the Contemporary Resort ones, the WDW Main Street USA ones, and the Hollywood Blvd Hollywood Studios ones (the ones that have a logo of the Chinese Theater and say "Help Keep Our City Clean")

disney consistently exceeds the mark by attention to detail; trash cans included. and always recall; trash and keeping the park clean was way up on mr. disney's list. will say; it's nice when the lid opens easy...and not having to push. some of the springs can be set too tough. they should open open with just the press of paper going in. and yes; the robotic trash can was epic. also agree the off stage cans need to have some theme. aka always on stage, even behind scenes. take care brah...you ALWAYS have such a GREAT imagination on your posts. never copying; always innovating. bravo... - Mark from NorCal
You missed the Disney trash cans still on the Queen Mary! (I’m assuming they’re still there, I encountered them a few years ago.) I thought I was having a stroke when I saw them, and I dragged my friend over to demand she agreed that they were from Disneyland - I want to say they were from Fantasyland?

Couple things-Remy was at Les Chefs de France, did he ever make it to DCL? Olaf on the new ship is the same concept but more advanced.
Also, DCL teak 4-doored trash cans are S-tier.
I don't think I have ever seen a youtube video where the creator breaks the greenscreen immersion like that. Based.

WDW should have silent trash cans that follow guests when they buy food that will produce trash until they get done eating and give it their trash ... or walk too far away. Maybe have "Give me your trash, please." on its front and "Thank you!" on its back.

I remember seeing the Remy animatronic at Chefs de France. That was such a fun interaction! His cast member attendant was wildly entertaining. They really oughta bring all those characters back. It’d be great to see more lands get the Galaxy’s Edge treatment with more walk around characters who are original characters and less tied to an IP. The first order officers and stormtroopers make that land really come alive, and you never know what kind of interaction you may have. Frontierland was actually really alive last time I went, too, with the pop-up hoedown and the country bears running around. I had a great interaction with Big Al.
I was gonna say Eyewitness Offhand is best bit but then you hit us with that incredible Penguin impression. Great editing all around, really elevated the video 👍👍

I noticed a mistake, in your video posting. You accidentally placed the Polynesian Resort trashcan in the ‘A’ tier. I’m sure you meant to place it in the ‘S+++++’ tier, where it rightfully belongs. No worry, people do make mistakes sometimes. So just as long as you make that correction, you will be forgiven, and not lose all of your outraged subscribers.
I think the cruise ship bins actually look pretty on target. I mean--it's a cruise ship-- EVERYTHING is gaudy!
This was the best video ever due to the fact that it was about the true heroes in the Disney parks. THE TRASH CAN'S.
Hard disagree on the Grand Floridian can. It isn't the iconic shape and takes me away from the magic of Disney shaped garbage cans.

As a former cast member at ESPN wide world of sports I can proudly say that espn has the worst trash cans. They don’t even match the parks

I work in a major theme park in the planning department (the dept that designs the park, signage, etc.). One of the projects I’m working on currently is trash cans around the campus. So this was fabulously fun to watch. 💙

OMG, I can't believe this! at 12:40 this is exactly what I had in mind. awesome. gotta love Disney trash cans. personally, I don't really like those that have the "push" written on them, I prefer the ones with the flat blank push thingy. you didn't really mention this. it's not like a feature of the design, two trash cans with the same style in the same area can have two different kinds of push thingy. I don't like it

im currently a DCA/DTD custodial CM and those pizza box cans have their own bag size and theyre also a pain in the butt to pull if theyre full. i loved this video, trash cans 4 life :)

Growing up in Hollywood and spending loads of time at Disney I was a chicken when it came to the scary rides. So when friends and family went on those I'd hang out usually on the people mover, my all time favorite but I also spent time waiting for them to finish the rides. So I sat and noticed things like the trash cans. Granted it was the 60's and they were not great but I noticed.
So I liked this video.

Dumbo and the Casey Jr. Circus Train at Disneyland have their own trash cans that I personally consider Push tier.
