Showing all these beautiful beaches close to Rio de Janeiro, informing details such as distance, which ones are good or not for swimming, which ones are safe or not, whether or not there is any infrastructure such as snack bars/restaurants, if they are more frequented or more empty, etc. , made this video a true tourist guide. The city of Rio has about 246 km of coastline and is divided into 3 sectors. Sector 1 Baía de Guanabara, sector 2 (the best known) that goes from Botafogo to Barra de Guaratiba and sector 3 that goes from Barra de Guaratiba and Baía de Sepetiba. Sector 1 and 3 are polluted (But in a few years it will be clean). So, with this information, you can have an idea of how, even though Rio has 7 million inhabitants, it still has more than 40 beaches, coves.

I am always surprised how the Nordic people in general have a quicker and better adaptation in a tropical or warmer climate compared to British people, for example. All of them live in cold climate most of the year, but the Nordic ones seem to tan more easily; get less red and in a relatively short time their skin begins to produce melanin to protect it like people who live in warmer regions in Europe during the summer (South etc.) and people born or already adapted here in the tropics. British and other "cold ones" on the contrary, can leave a beach looking like shrimp, even blisters later etc. This difference always intrigues me.
I’m just as surprised myself! I never got the logic why the Nordic body craves so much light and why I tan so easily. But … I also lose all that tan in a matter of a few weeks 😩
@@SwedishGringo, yes, that's true. While we continue in the tropical regions of Brazil etc., exposed to the sun and/or heat, we keep the color because melanin is a natural sunscreen. I have Portuguese etc. ancestors, tan very easily, but got surprised when I spent a few days in temperatures around zero degrees Celsius during a trip and lost around 50% of my color (it faded quickly!). If people of European descent here lived as exposed as the original population (Indigenous), they would probably get the same genetic color after generations. Observe that cold Canadian Indians are lighter as well as Asians at higher latitudes. Africans and Australian Aboriginals got similar color and features living in very hot and open environments (savannas and deserts), a maximum protection for their skin. I was in the Nordic countries, England etc. as a tourist (not in winter), but I think it's possible that Nordic people have more sun than the British, no matter if weak sun, despite the same cold climate. Finnish people like saunas very much (I don't know the Scandinavians), and it's possible that this often exposition to heat can also help to produce melanin quicker. Even without taking direct sun our skin can produce melanin in the tropics through the hot weather. Just some suppositions and thoughts. Everything is perfect in the nature!

Why not? Is there anything better than a foreigner making videos with detailed information about what's best in Brazil and even better... in English? His videos can serve as a tourist guide for other foreigners and help spread Brazilian tourism to other countries. Both he and Brazil benefit from this.
@@SwedishGringo Yes, you can make videos about Brazil, but show more respect, especially with women. Don't objectify them like you do. Yes, we have beautiful women in Brazil, we all know that and we don't need you saying that and filming them in every video. Brazil is much more than just beautiful women. Show more respect because you're not even from here.
