Welcome to Great Edo Land, a fun oriental stage based on Japan's Edo period. The difficulty starts ramping up a bit here, as we head closer to the end of the game. Even though it's the fourth stage, you only need 3 carrots to play the bonus game on this stage.

A bunch of quips from Gex: Enter the Gecko come to mind on this level. Particularly the quip, "My name is Kain. I seek water." when the boss shows up.

I'm playing through this game for the second time after twenty years and I can't get past the section at 13:00. I can't do the training room of this manoeuvre either. Your video gave me more insight but I still can't pull it off.

It's one of the trickier techniques, definitely. You want to press A to start spinning while you're holding B, then let go of B in the middle of rotation while at a good distance from the next log to have enough room for your tongue.

Never played that one. Some upcoming games are Dragon Quest XI S and Pokemon Sword/Shield.
