Almost as good as 1980 Game 5 VS Astros and Nolan Ryan. Down 5-2 in 9th with Ryan 119-7 career w/ lead after 7 innings and came back to take lead 7-5. Of course, Astros tied it in bottom 9th but Phils won it in extras.

The other time the Rockies were swept in the divisional series, only 25 ABs total. Goldschmidt has a career playoff OPS of .975 which, granted, doesn't take into account 'clutch' moments, but is still pretty damn good. Neither has ever made an error either. Reds fan here btw, no horse in the race I just like baseball. Good luck tomorrow.
Helsley walks 2 guys straight and there’s no mound visit. That made no sense… right there if his hand was cramping you could’ve had 2 on 1 out double play on with a competent pitcher. Bad managing… but but the fight in Philly was really fun to watch

This is why I wanted The Phillies to play The Cardinals. They are the easiest opponent between all the other NL playoff teams. If we can somehow steal two on the road it could bolster our confidence which could help us moving forward in the Playoffs. It's a must win tmw though. The Cardinals just try to get too cute, and bring in all their toys from the bullpen. While Philly was smart and kept Wheeler in longer than Quintana. When Quintana outpitched Wheeler, but still was taken out of the game by Marmol.

Molina kinda knows. What he was saying is that if you aren't calling good pitches strikes, you force bad pitches and this is what happens. Greg Maddux said the same thing when he was in his later years, "I can't strike out 4 batters an inning anymore" and that's how you don't get kicked out and maybe get a makeup call.
