Happy Holidays everyone, thanks for watching!
Thx lucaas
Thanks for the videos! All the best for 2024✈
Lots love and happy holidays Lucaas
That 777 landing at the beginning looks incredibly fun. I would like to experience being a passenger of a landing like that at least once. If I were fatigued, that would definitely help me wake up.
Du bist ein ganz dummer Mensch
I bet both pilots at 2:02 were trying their best for an impressive smooth landing 😂
Parallel runways are so cool, those are some great shots.
That Vegas landing was real nice. It is *VERY* choppy in the daytime landing at KLAS due to the desert heat.
Imagine lucas being a pilot
this button, I will push it now resulting in a very funny noise
Luckily, no one is injured
@@amaarse😂😂😂
Probably not a good pilot, since the first one was PIO and not wind gust.
@@TB-um1xz The windsock says otherwise.
And the left wing lifted while the left aileron was already in full upper position confirms the wind gust hypothesis
I don’t know if Lucaas would be a good pilot but he s already better than you
Merry Christmas lucaas and many thanks for your unique work 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Not to undermine this channel, but there is 3 minutes of aviation also, which is basically the same thing
For a quick second I thought the F-16 pilot was heavily FARTING! ;)
Greetings from the Netherlands
I love aviation and still do. Have been a commercial airline pilot for 30 years. Still watch in awe in exactly the same way when i was a little boy. I cant however watch any video or magazine which presents any air force military aspect. I hate all that stuff, i hate war and am fcn fed up with that. Luckily it does not affect my love for commercial aviation in any way. Best to all of you aviation lovers.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t need military planes and spent the money for humanitarian reasons instead? Since that isn’t reality I marvel at all aspects of manned flight and give respect to all the machines that have given us so much. It’s almost impossible to marvel at modern civilian aviation without realizing you are looking at military lineage. For example the doors on the 737’s that I work on are direct descendants of the door on the first pressurized Boeing bombers in WW2.
Damn that must be an awkward convo when you get an AF vet for a co-pilot
Great video brother from the imperial county California 👍👍 and have a merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Merry Christmas Lucaas!!
Great stuff again!
That clip of the two United planes landing at SFO was incredible. 😀
the beach pass over was actually performed in a f-35
Lmao that was a storm? Seems like just a bad pilot trying to put the blame on weather 😂
Thank you for these footages.
Merry Christmas Lucas
it’s a good day when lucaas post
nice batch of clips in this one 👍
Happy holidays!
0:47 that's an F-35A but ok
Dude I’ve seen this video at least 100 times already…
The Air France 777 was clearly pilot-induced oscillation. Note the windsock: the wind is steady state 30+ knots. Not gusting enough to even remotely cause the jet to behave like that. It was the flight control pumper making the landing.
It is a sickening loss of flight control by the pilots.
The parallel plane stuff is really awesome.
Woah that must’ve been scary!
Watching the dual landing in SF makes learning right from left a praiseworthy accomplishment.
Love Your Videos Brother❤……Love from India❤
Oof that landing
Nice video
Air France resulting in WHAT a perfect landing during a storm. Little flight simulator fella you 😂😂
The first one looked like history was about to repeat it self with those bounces 💀
That 777 was not weather related. This was a classic case of Pilot Induced Oscillation.
The wind sock and port wing lift says you are definitely not a pilot 🤣
@@garygolfer3243 LOL, I got 31 years and counting under my belt. This was one of the best examples of PIO. You should look how the elevators go full up and down continuously, that says it all.
By the way, we don’t say “port” or “starboard”. The navy does that.
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 Wow, have flight simulator programs been around for 31 years? I’ll bet you’re good by now. I saw the elevators, but the root cause was weather. You screwed up again when you said aviation doesn’t use port/starboard since we use those terms every single day. Your ridiculous posts on other channels also indicate you’re an angry person not suitable for real aviation.
@@garygolfer3243 LOL, ok bud. Whatever you want to believe. I’m hardly ever angry in real life and NEVER on RUclips. Why would being angry on RUclips even be a thing? It’s for entertainment, I laugh my ass off mostly. I would never get angry over anything on social media.
Maybe it’s you who can’t figure out when I’m being serious or when I’m pulling people’s leg. I’m sorry if you are incapable of recognizing sarcasm.
Now, on a serious note, no, we don’t use port or startboard in civilian aviation. Pilots say left and right. ATC says left and right. Systems in aircraft is left and right. Engines are left and right. Checklists say left and right.
This incident was PIO and had nothing to do with a gust of wind. If you were a real pilot, you would know this.
And no, I’m not a “sim” pilot. You would know that too, if you were a real pilot.
🤣🤣 And you trigger like a wannabe too. I’m going golfing, you keep digging your hole. 🍿👍
It's so interesting how in the US fighter jets are allowed to fly like that. In Finland they can fly close to cities/people only during joint NATO exercises.
Not as close as you would think.
@@ronwyckoff824 I've thought this must be the case. People happen to be in areas where the fighter jets fly. I for one would like to see more of our Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Hornets and F-35s lol Perhaps not close to cities though.
It's only in certain areas and every move is planned pre flight you have to be rated (that rating also expires fairly quick) to fly below a height below a certain agl. including restrictions on speed and bank because of potential g out and ground effect where your margin of error is diminished. No I am not a pilot. My uncle was a f15 pilot back in the 90's and A330 captain after the air force till he retired. This is what he said when I asked him about the Mach loop in Whales once. Now if you are CAS in a warthog.....thats their bread and butter but they are flying much slower with aircraft that is inherently stable at low speeds. But God...that 30mm GAU8 never gets old!
Brroooo if you look closely the 777 was only rolling on the nose landing gear while the main landing gear was still in the air because of that huge gust of wind😮 that was surprising! And the guy filming it was overly excited 😅
I’m tired of RUclipsrs saying subscribe on every video. It makes we want to do the opposite honestly.
Don't get me started on youtubers flogging their shit sponsors of VPNs, dodgy Japanese knives or fucking Tiege Hanley
I have the impression Air France has more pilots incidents in the last few years or not?
That first landing probably cured a lot of passengers constipation 😂😂😂
That AF pilot doesn’t understand how to control the aircraft with the delicate touch required for its FBW system. It’s not a 737 where you give your arms a thorough workout!
The first one looked waaaay worse on the preview.
damn the LA airport looks worse then the Baghdad airport.
the parallel take off video was pretty old cuz it had the air france A380
1:03 "Ah shit! here we go again"
"why did i move here i guess it was the weather"
Happy Christmas from a Scottish lady x who’s mad about planes
I'm sure both of the pilots landing at KSFO were like: "ok we gotta beat their landing"
FedEx flight 80 abt to happen again
Merry (777)X-mas😊
1:31 I was actually plane spotting in sfo and I saw that. It was pretty cool.
0:55 excuse me is that f22 or 35?🤔Looks like 35.
2 tails. F-22
You are correct...it is an F-35. I noticed as well.
F35 has 2 tails too @@ronwyckoff824
@@CCBZRG twin tails F22. Got to pause it at the right moment to see. Plus, I'm by an F22 base. I see them all week.
@@ronwyckoff824 F-35s also have 2 vertical stabilizers but the trailing edge of the one in the video is swept back whereas F-22 vertical stabilizers trailing edge are swept forward. They are very similar looking but I can say with 100% confidence that it is a F-35 in the video.
Air France was well stabilized before that gust. I bet that nerves were shaken quickly.
0:46 F-35 not F-22
I thought the Boeing 777 was one of the “Butter machines.”
Awesome
1:30 Third person unlocked
Yeah, strafe. More like a giant fart. I wonder what a fart smells like in an F-16.
@0:48 that’s an F-35A
The second one was he ate way too much Taco Bell 💀💀💀
nice
1:37 Heres me looking for the other plane? 😂
777 looked like it had cross winds lol
that LA smog is nasty.
ATL may be the world's busiest airport, but Southwest has to be the world's busiest airline.
That’s a joke right?
I'd guess United or American but I'm not sure
@@joeg5414 it’s not either of those
Delta?
@@jayr.9266 no American carrier
The video is ok as long as you turn off the audio !
2:33
i'm still waiting for the plane to touch the ground
0:17 *fedex 80/14 flashbacks*
The B777 make remind me to something 😅
it was f-35 not 22 flying over crouded beach
A shame the ATR sucks in ice
The TECAS of both aircraft when they were landing at SFO at the same time: TRAFFIC CLIMB, TRAFFIC DESCEND
TCAS*
I believe TCAS is just ignored in this situation, so long as both aircraft have continuous visual contact. And you don't get RAs under 1000ft from memory. I never flew with TCAS, so take my comment with a grain of salt :)
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 yea I just now noticed that thx
@@MeppyMan actually, TCAS isn’t giving even one peep. The aircraft are not converging. I’ve done this approach many times and never had TCAS even give a warning.
I probably should know, but I forgot what altitude the TCAS stops to give an RA. It’s probably 1000 feet as you said, but I got 700 and 1400 in my mind somehow. 🤣🤣
@@MeppyMan I had to look it up. 🤣🤣“Increase descent rate” is inhibited below 1550 ft.
“Descent” below 1100
And all RAs below 1000.
Man, was I far off. 🤣🤣
!:02 is Huntington Beach
What's all the hubbub about Bob?
Damn that clip from San Francisco looks familiar...😅😅😅(Asiana 214)
so what exactly went wrong??
Always👍!
0:48 could it ever be considered irresponsible when an F-22 attempts such antics over a ‘“crowded beach”?
Woooow 😢😢😢
wow
And you want to do this with batteries ?
Wow
Air India received it's new aircraft type A350 today. It's India's first A350. Do include it in the next weekly dose of aviation
0:27 AKA terrorism.
I was the captain on the United flight final into Ksfo rwy 28L.....just kidding. ...I wish
Did Air France Hire their pilot for Ryan Air?
GULP FEDEX FLIGHT 80 gulp
Lucaas: This Boeing 737, making a very smooth landing in Las Vegas...
Me: Is that possible...🤔✈️↘️↗️↘️↗️↘️🛬🤢
storm landing gone wrong??
Hey, @lucaas, I usually really enjoy seeing your content, and you're USUALLY not a clickbait kinda guy. I was REALLY disappointed that you edited the video cover or thumbnail image to make that landing look a LOT worse than it really was. I'm sorry to see you resorting to such means to generate traffic. You don't need to do that; you get a ton of views already. Please keep it honest, or you'll lose me as a regular viewer.
That’s an f-35 flying over the beech not an f-22
Bro united plane is msfs
Flight 80
Thumbs done for clickbait thumbnail
F-35 @.53
That voice is better left out.
Hi
Crap ATC in the usa they are so poor at safety
I dont like your attitude, Air France
Less clickbaity titles please man, especially when it has to do with aviation safety. That landing was a great gusting crosswind one. Didn’t go around or crash so it didn’t go wrong.
That landing was anything other than great. It was dangerous when the nose wheel takes all the weight and should have gone around
It was actually dangerous it bounced a lot and the nose wheel took alot of weight and could’ve broke
The thumbnail is also photoshopped to make it look horribly dramatic. Here is the real picture: 0:17
You can’t tell this from a video. The a350 has a load alleviation function (LAF) system which measures the landing strut compression and ultimately decides with no noticeable damage to the aircraft. We have no idea what the winds did in these seconds.
@@BenjaminWThomas so you can't tell it was gusty then. Plus it's a 777 not a 350. 🙄
