Love Tom Skerritt. He's so good in every part he plays. He stood out even in Top Gun.
The starkness of this movie was so filled out by both Skerritt and Michael Parks, who was a revelation. And, of course, Harley-Davidson. Enjoyed this very much.
    Thank you, TVTERRORLAND!

Tom Skerritt has quite a commanding presence, and Michael Parks has a creepiness that keeps the viewers on edge, both make the movie work.

Michael Parks always brought menace to his characters. He was a welcome creep in a average death wish 5 . Tarantino got his best.

Thank You for sharing a dramatic and thrilling tv movie what a grant cast.
The late Tom Skeritt and Michael Parks worked very well together in their respective roles. It was brilliant.
Laura Parker in a cameo role along with Lauren Tewes were great in this film.
The cast of actors and actresses played their roles very well. This flick is worth watching if you enjoy psychological thrillers. It's light entertainment. Grab your popcorn and drinks and get thrilled.

I used to watch Then Came Bronson on TV when I was a kid. I loved that show. Every town he road into he had to be a hero.
Being a hero is what life is about. We don't have to save babies from burning buildings to be a hero. Sometimes a smile is all it takes. Being a hero is simple really caring about people and trying to help them.
I was a hero when I was leasing apartments in Tucson. Everyday I was rescuing someone from a spider, flood, from being locked out, etc. It was an awesome experience.

Terrific movie. It took me a while to "buy into it", because I thought at first that the writing seemed a bit implausible and messy.........but they pulled all of the complexities together as the plot thickened. Nice acting. Fun to watch Tom Skerritt....pretty adroit actor, and darned good looking.
No clue why they called it "China Lake" though.....I didn't spot a single body of water in the whole darned thing. There's a "China Lake" in my region of the country.......but this sure didn't look like New England. :D

I saved a 3 year old from drowning in Tucson, and it was most rewarding, but the point I was trying to make is that the key to happiness is not in greed but in being a blessing for those we love. And to the more people we can love, the more chances we have at being someone's savior, even if our being a savior is just getting the door for them.
Most people thing they'll be happy when they have enough money. The truth is that they'll be happy the moment they forget about themselves and serve.

I think this Sheriff is stew-pid. Letting a stranger into your unlocked house, stay in your trailor, go through your things, ride along on investigations, feed them, etc. etc. Stupid.

Good film! Michael Parks was such an excellent actor and was known as the actor's actor. There is a documentary being made about Michael starring Kurk Russell which should be an interesting watch, especially as Park's career spanned 50 years. Thanks for uploading

I always wondered why Parks was never given any big roles
The guy was one of the greatest acting talents of all time
A rumor I heard, was that he had politically incorrect opinions
    and was blackballed from Hollywood.

I've seen Parks in plenty good roles, didn't Tarantino say he was one of his favorite actors?
      He did bad real good.

God is Love. There is nothing but God. So why pursue anything but Love?
To serve anyone is to serve God. If you helped my child you will have helped me. No?
Money is but a tool. It has no other purpose or meaning.
To sell your soul is simply to forsake service for greed. When we turn to self service our hearts are tortured. No crime is worth the pain it inflict upon our soul. Everyone has a heart. We can try to ignore it, but the heart will always prevail. See how beautiful people really are?

Your'e no hero. Your'e a super hero! A friend of mine was going to lose his house. He needed a lot of work done on it to get insurance so he could refinance. He was broke, so was I. I spent the winter and a good deal of spring to meet a deadline in June helping him get the place inspectable. Also the guy had dislexia and couldn't read all this code crap he was being given. Got the job done, saved his home. Now that is an heroic effort that paid off in a premium of the heart. Feels good.

I am 57 and my bike riding days are over. Rode a '69 Triumph Trophy, wrecked it. Got T-Boned on a Yahama. Called it quits. 4 wheels from now on. Shooting cans? I'm fast on the draw. I can balance an empty Budweiser can on my hand and draw and shoot it before it hits the ground. As far as life is concerned, dream if you have courage. No, my bike days are over. I was a bicycle messenger in NYC in my youth. That was dangerous.
