Love the outfit and the tutorial. Bob and Brad are great. I am 71 and they have become my go to “fix all”.
Joy, I want you to know that I love your raglan sleeve outfit. It looks great on you. You should wear it often. The fit is perfect.!!!! Thank you for showing us how to fix the neckline!!!!! I love watching your show & the tutorials.
🤗😇🥰
Oh thank you!
Wow Joy. You made that so easy to follow. Even I think I can do that!!
I like!! The pants look more like a yoga pant AND they look really good on you. Perfect fit. You go girl 😊
You are so fun to watch! I love your tips and demo of adding to the neck...so clever. I LOVE the outfit. I wouldn’t have picked out a print...but seeing yours - it’s so lovely. Your tips about where prints land in delicate areas ... excellent. I think many of us would be all excited to lay out the pattern and cut...then to find unflattering results. One if these days I’ll get back to making clothes....I make quilts and table toppers/runners. Haven’t made clothing in quite awhile. Your cheerful presentation is like sunshine. 😊
Oh my goodness. So so cute, Joy. Wear that often!
Super advice on raising the neckline from a top lady. Thank you, Helen
Love the whole outfit.
I LOVE the outfit!
Oh, Joy, that crazy print and black outfit is so cute on you. The pants fit great💙 Susan
Love the top and pants.
I love the new outfit... fun and comfy.
Cute outfit, Joy! ❤️🧵❤️
I love the outfit, and you did such a great job matching the stripes. I also noticed how nicely you trimmed the neckline. Nothing purchased is that well made!
Joy, I really like your new top and pants combo. Great stripe matching and I appreciate the tip on raising a raglan neckline!
Looks so good you and thanks for the lesson on how to raise the neckline.
You are so welcome!
The fit is perfect! Like that you matched stripes! Perfect stripe in delicate area too! What a nifty video today!
Hi Joy, l love your dance from the other day. This outfit you made now is so fun and it fits perfectly, looks great, I love it .
I watch Bob and Brad, they are really good.
Thanks for all your fun vlogs and teachings.
Oh yeah I love those PTs on RUclips! Been watching for a couple years!
I loved the little fashion show. Your are such fun!
I think your outfit looks great.
I like it, looks so comfortable. And raising the neck, really works. I would of never thought about sewing it first on material that I didn't care so much about, that is brilliant! Thank you, and God bless you and Jerry. Jesus is coming soon!
Love your outfit...pants are fantastic ❣️❤️❤️❤️🤗
Thanks Joy, you always make me smile and the outfit is great. Thanks for showing how to adjust the raglan neckline. Cheers Mary
Hey Joy! Beautiful job matching the stripes on the Becky pant, that's not easy to do. It's a really sweet outfit. And thank you for the pattern alterations. I LOVE seeing how patterns can be reworked for a personal fit.
Really cute outfit!
Oh my goodness...this has to be the best video you've done as far as I know...I actually laughed out loud...not just a chuckle, but an actual laugh!!!! First thank you for that. Then 2nd thank you for the pattern revision, even though I haven't purchased it....yet! Then 3rd...for the "stripes" tutorial...that's the one that got me!!!! You are a treasure (in Hebrew it's the word segulah pronounced like sa-goo-lah) ....I truly expected Jail House Rock to be the background music, you know when he's doing the song in his prison stripes! FYI...from what I could tell the stripes were near unto perfect!!!! and 4th for the heads up about Bob & Brad. Thank you for the humor, the teachings, the humor, the visuals, and the humor!!!!
The jailhouse rock video is MY FAVORITE! I almost know all the words.
I love your outfit!
They are amazing. Because you broke it up with the black. You look amazing.
I love the outfit! Wonderful fabric.
I really like your new outfit! I made a top, followed your neckline with a facing tutorial and it came out great! It was so well explained, thanks so much Joy!
You're so funny and fun! Love you Joy,! Great idea on the neckline!❤️❤️❤️
Bless your heart, Joy, for showing this! I love this top but it shows all my business as it is. I can't wait to try it again with this new knowledge. Thank you.
Bob and Brad, The two most famous physical therapists on the internet! Their theme song cracks me up.
(Note to self: Buy chocolate covered almonds and a bag of pretzels...)
Joy you look amazing...I love the outfits you put together. Thank you for taking the time to figure out the neckline and sharing with us 💕🇨🇦
Been watching Bob and Brad for quite some time. They are the best. Your presentation today was very good and also a lot of fun to watch.
Love the outfit! Watch Bob and Brad all the time.
😂😂😂 of all the addictions to have fabric is an important one. You always make me laugh. You’re such a great lady. And very talented.
Bob and Brad are the BEST, and they are so funny!
Cute outfit you made, love it!

Love, Love, Love your outfit on you. I’m so excited I got my slap down ruler yesterday from Amazon. Can’t wait to use it. And yes, I think you should do an Amazon store!! I had to keep going back to different videos trying to figure out what you’ve bought from your drop down box, so you get credit for it. It be nice to just have ally he products you use in one place! Faster shopping. ha ha. Thanks for showing how to raise the collar too.
Joy, you did a fantastic job! Would be great pjs. Thanks for sharing how to raise the neckline. Though I am not needing that info right now, I sure may need it in the future. You are a wonderful teacher. Again, thanks for all you do for the sewing community. And yes, I have watched Bob and Brad. Kinda hard to miss on youtube with all their videos. They gave me better advice than my own PT.
Oh my goodness that outfit is stinking cute! Love you Joy!
Thank you for the how to portion and I like your outfit! Nice
That outfit is adorable!!!!! I am sooo surprised to see this as I was really wanting to ask you about raising the neckline!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Joy. You explained and demonstrated the adjustment very well. I will surely use this method. Muchas Gracias!!1
I loved the outfit! Stripes and all! Looked great on you!
I love your new outfit. Fabulous. You did an awesome job matching your stripes. I am ordering these patterns. Hugs
You make me laugh, when you slap that ruler, lolol. I got that pattern , haven't made it yet. Your a smart cookie. It's not crazy, is great, you know, I love the way the pants are, need that pattern for me, as I am 62. Much more fashionable. I just love you, lol
Love Bob and Brad. I’ve been watching them for a couple years. My granddaughters love to break out singing their theme song. They have really helped my knee a lot. Amazing how well you did matching up your stripes. You are so good. Fabric would not have been my choice for the pants especially since my bottom is 3 sizes larger than my top and they are all plus size. Enjoyed watching as always❤️
You’re outfit fits nice. Reminds me of fabric pattern from the 60’s. 😀 as usual I love your energy.
Love your outfit ❤️
Great outfit that suits you well. Now I have to check out the Becky yoga pants since I like more loose fitting pants.Thank you for your all great content!
That outfit is very cute. I'd wear it out of the house!
Love this lady. X
Oh my goodness, you looked wonderful in your fun new outfit. Sadly, the stripes wouldn't be the best on my sort, chubby legs but they looked great on you! A++ for the great job you did matching the strips on the pants.
Gotta love you Joy!
As you started sneaking out in the yoga plant outfit, I thought: "Oh my, No!"
Then I saw the outfit and call me crazy, but I LOVE IT! It looks great on you (and in spite of the horizontal stripes), you look thinner in it.
Wow, really good video. Love your top and pants. You look so cute!
Hi Joy,
Wow wow wow, i love those pants!
I love you wild pants! You look so cute!!
Well, I am proud of you too. Good Job.
Love the outfit. Great job!
Great looking outfit. I have that Jalie top pattern. I plan to try it. Thx to you.
Bob and Brad are great.
Those pants are so wild that they are actually cute. Thanks for the tip on raising the neckline. I love your fun ways and how active you are. I also try and remain active and have fun and dance around too. I do have bad knee and getting up & down can be painful and I go up and down my 3 porch steps in a weird way. My son once asked me why I move that way and I told him since my youth bit the dust that’s how your mama now rolls.
Love this outfit.
You are a hoot to watch. You do bring the fun back to sewing.Where do you get so much energy? I need some of it,so send it to Missouri.
I watch Bob and Brad too just because they are so funny
nice pants and top! really like the pants that have ease and can be worn in public by someone of my vintage.
thanks very much for the very good instructions re raising raglan top neckline. i appreciate your efforts and how you share your knowledge and experience w/us. the instruction was made even better by you modeling the outfit:-)
We gave our albums to our daughter who plays selections for our grandson. I still have some, though.
Love it. U r so talented.
1) those pants make your legs look as long as Viv’s!!! Love stripes and love fit.
2) you forgot to say vinyl for one of your fav things lol.
3) Bob and Brad are a riot - 2 most famous physical therapists. On the in-ter-net.
Joy I luv the zig zags I’d go out in them any day you’ve made a lovely trouser leg shap,I adore the raglan top I’m a larger 59,I’m just attaching sleves luv teresa
You must wear your new outfit out & about. Show people how well you rock fashions.
Absolutely love it 😍
I needed this lesson for Simplicity S8658 which is my next project. Thank you, Joy. ~ L
I love your outfit! You look so cute.
Your outfit is so cute.

Wish you could have seen me, i was dancing around for you..☺️☺️
I am totally going to make those. Yippee
I luv luv it ,I’m short sited so if I say there fab there fab,I like the longer one luv teresa
I want to see how you put the flair in the top also. I love the outfit. I bought the Becky pants. I hope the top of the leg is really fitted on my skinny legs.
You can always take it in up and down the thigh area, or start with a smaller size, and make it larger in the waist.
I like the outfit
Are you thinking of the song called Whip It by Devo? I remember that song from when I was a teenager 😁. I absolutely love your outfit 😍
I want to see how you put the flair in the top.
You look awsome in that outfit. Were did you get the print fabric from because I would like to puechase some. I love tbe way to color block.
I have had that fabric for a long time. I'm sure it came from Fabric Mart Fabrics, and they will not have it anymore.
Link to your Amazon shop isn’t an interactive link. I couldn’t find it when I tried Amazon. Well I tried again and found it. Must have typed something wrong .
I love the higher neck and longer hems. On you and me ... pants are fine. Bootleg cut is the pant hems so cowboys can get thier pant legs over the cowboy boots
Brilliant way to raise the neckline. Now could you work your magic on a raglan sleeve pattern that is intended for wovens and the blasted sleeves are made of two pieces? I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure how to put them together to make one piece for using a knit, haha. Goodness I'm getting the giggles just imagining the clothing failures. Boy I remember Bob and Brad from back when I was having my shoulder surgeries. Did the tall guy ever get his Dupuytren's Contracture repaired? It must be hard to do physical therapy on people with that. Your outfit turned out cute and by raising the neckline your top looks a little dressier.
Talk about coincidence! I had just cut out the Jalie Raglan Top (yesterday) and the neck was way too big! So today, I recut the top at a smaller size around the neck, (on all the pieces) but stayed larger on the shirt itself and it made the neck smaller. Does that make sense? Anyway, it worked and my shirt fits great around the neck now. Your way would have been easier than mine I think. LOL
Looks very nice! Curious Joy, have you ever joined “Julie’s swatch club” at fabric mart, if you have, what did u think of it? I joined this year, the verdict is still out if I think it’s worth it or not. She does have some lovely fabrics though
No, I do not subscribe to samples. There are so many fabrics I do not like, and I don't think a tiny piece can really tell you much about it. I know I don't like sheers, and I am very allergic to wool.
Hi Joy. I have a question, you had some repositionable tape on a roll in the black tape holder you use as a weight some time. Today was the first day I’ve been able to get out of bed. I worked too long after being in bed and immobile. I love the fabric of the pants. Where did you get it, do you think they will have it? Blessings, Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth. So glad you are back up again. I have an Amazon Store -- I hope -- that I put up just last night. Try it please, and let me know if it works. I will go there and add the tape to it.
@@Joy4650B I will give it a try. Love, Elizabeth
Did you do all your adjustments on the raglan like you normally do for a rounded back? If so I would like to see how you did them also.
Yes, I did all the regular adjustments. I did show that in my first video about the raglan top.
@@Joy4650B - thanks Joy, I found it.
What kind of tape do you use?
