Fantastic! I loved the excited faces and what we could call banter in the UK. That is a considerable hike! Let alone the anxiety of feeling unsafe. Well done and thanks for sharing. I've subscribed to your channel. 😊

As Lubos said, those aren't hunting distances. Just a compounders course. A great way to lose arrows for the rest of us. Fair play for trying.

Nice!! Respect the trad at 100 yards

Hey no one expects much from trad after 40 yards. I didn’t realize you were shooting 30-35# bows, tough for past 45-70 yards but good on ya. Respect. Personally I’m getting ready for the field 900 event, my 50 yards shooting needs more work.

Think of a clock. Twelve noon. Your torso is at two. It should be twelve. It's also called open or closed. Shooting at 2times2 or 3times3 you should use a closed stance straight sideways. This is more consistent stance. And remember never move your hands when shooting. Always keep hands in same place while shooting. Just move your release fingers. Way more repeatable. This should help you repeat the same shots time after time.

Next time go to Tennessee classic at twin oaks bow hunters. Traditional only! Went for the first time this year was amazing. Way better than TAC.

Wow, with my current 30lbs bow I don't think I'd have a chance at reaching those targets ... but to be fair, who in their right mind would hunt at 100 yards with a bow ?

My bow is 30 pounds! You just have to aim at the sky…I mean, I still missed by at least a yard, but close counts 😆💀😆

Hey you great too see shooting. The thing I see you should work on. Your bottom torso. Feet shoulder width apart . Turn sideways. Right side hip should be straight in line with target. Now raise your right arm use your pointer finger should line up straight to target. Practice this so it becomes natural.

Curious as to what make and model of bow you and your friend are shooting.
You said yours was a 30# what draw weight was your friend shooting?
I haven’t bought my first bow yet.
I will be visiting an archery shop soon and taking lessons.
I will definitely be getting a longbow and starting out with a 25#. Don’t want to make the mistake of being overbowed to begin with.
Also, I’ll most likely get one of the Bearpaw / Bodnik bow models: slick stick, or quick stick models. They both have a 30 year warranty.
Any advise? You or your subscribers?

Hi Gary. I’m the over-enthusiast friend and I shoot a beautiful stalker stickbow built for me to pull 35lb at my t-Rex armed reach. What I would say is the depending on the bow 35lb could pull much easier than a 30lb, I would advise if you at all could to try the actual bow you’d like to try before buying so you know what’s comfortable for you. 😊

I shoot a Striker. I can’t remember what make Sarah shoots, but I think it’s 35 pounds. I hope you found a great bow!
