I'd love to see a comparison with the 8bitdo Zero 2 and your thoughts on both controllers! I've had no issues pairing my Zero 2 with my RP3+ (I used x-input to connect) but the only caveat is that the d-pad on the Zero 2 is technically detected as an analog stick, so in Retroarch, you have to enable Retropad + analog and left analog under Port 2 controls.
It’s honestly a shame that it doesn’t work with the RP3+ I would have loved something like this to use whilst connecting my RP3+ to the tv. Awesome video as always
The 8bitdo mini has smaller buttons and I've heard from a few people it also has a battery drain issue while off. The 8bitdo also charges using micro usb whereas the Manba charges via type c. Having a type c port alone swayed me to get the Manba over the 8bitdo, although it still might be neat to compare them down the road. If you don't mind the rounded back on the Manba I'd recommend that one over the 8bitdo.
@KeiRetroGaming honestly the buttons and charge port are a big difference for me. Ill definitely keep my eye open to get one of the Manba controllers. Its cheap enough so a spur of the moment purchase and could lead to some good fun.
I ordered this a couple of days ago. Had no idea it was THAT small lmao. Cutest controller I've ever seen 😅

Just ordered this.. thank you for the review
Lol pretty awesome. I dont think I have a use for this but good to know its around for cheap if i ever did need a little controller.
I already ordered it
I do like the larger buttons on this but the d pad on the 8 but do looks like it will be better. Hmmm.
does it work if you wanna have it connected with cable on pc? or only with bluetooth?
review the 8bitdo one, its the same thing but looks nicer and brighter (in my opinion)
Can you tell me the name of the game with wings? You should add game titles on the side in the future thanks
Skul the Hero Slayer, pretty fun game overall. I'll make sure to do that in future videos, thanks 👍
What was the game you were playing at 4:01?
