I think John Stones should be in the team. In terms of impact, Man City would not be performing as well without him. He's the one who's made Guardiola's team tick after the World Cup in the pseudo CDM position cause if you remember before that Guardiola's team were not performing as well. So purely down to impact, I think Stones should be in.
That’s simply not true.. you guys don’t watch City. Akanji and Ake carried City while Dias and Stones were injured or not performing. Stones plays Central back!!!!! Not midfielder. He only plays there when we want to beat a press or press super high. Against Arsenal he didn’t do that once… against Bayern Real, we needed him to do that. Also City plays with the exact same system and tactics we have been playing for years. Stones simply replaced Cancelo, Zinny or Delph. It’s a 4-3-3 with a defender going to the midfield. Stop over complicating.

Salah’s been better than Saka but people don’t want to include him because it would be boring and because this is Saka’s breakout season. It shouldn’t work like that, but this is how many people think.
The disrespect Salah is getting is nonsense. We compare individual performances, not performances from the team in general. Last season when De Gea and Ronaldo were saving Man United through the whole time, everyone gave them credit but now when Salah and Alisson do it all season - nothing.
There is no disrespect until 3 weeks Saka was being touted as POY candidate. Arguably the best player on a team which was top of the league for 90% of the year.
KDB has stood out amongst genuine world class players, he’s the guy that runs the show for city, he’s their best player, he wins them games. He’s easily top 3 prem midfielders right now…
So Much Disrespect To Mo Salah. Better Stats in a Struggling team and still breaking records and he doesn't only scored goal he is a play maker. Salah is still better then Saka
Seriously though. I would agree that Saka has been extremely good this season but Salah has been more consistent throughout the entire year. Not only does he just have more goal contribution overall, but Saka has been really off it the past several weeks, and that is even prior to them effectively losing the title a few weeks ago.

@@manningismystepdad4997 I would argue Rashford, Shaw, Casemiro and Martinez all get close. Casemiro has been fantastic but can understand why Rhodri got in. Shaw was better than Zinchenko for me, especially showing he’s great at CB and LB. @@WouldUKindly7 shaw i agree with, probably gets in my team. Casemiro is nowhere near rodri’s level though and the 2 suspensions have to factor in. Saka who's allegedly the best winger in the world has worse numbers than Foden who's been out for half a season and Salah who's having his worst season. Saka has been good for Arsenal this season, nothing more, nothing less. He's one of the reasons why they've been challenging for the title and he's also one of the reasons why they've bottled it.
@Terrance Tibbs such a casual take this. Pep doesn't like direct wingers like Saka. Saka wouldn't work in this city team. The main job of city's wingers are to hold up the ball, keep possession and move forward, they aren't direct. Only KDB and haaland are direct players. If you put Saka instead of benerdo, foden or grealish, it would ruin city's dynamic and if you ask Saka to do the job grealish, foden or Silva do then it would ruin his dynamic 👍
Saka has 13 goals and 11 assists in the league this season. No other player is in double figure for both stats. It shows the guy is an overall goal involvements machine. Apart from his penalty miss against West Ham, I dont know if you can argue he's one of the reasons arsenal have bottled the league. In a team sport, to single him out as the reason Arsenal didnt win the league is kind of baffling in all honesty
Alison has 12 goals prevented, by far the best individual keeeper in the league. Shaw has been the best LB in the league. Unbelievable defensively better than both Estupinan and Zinchenko and also better going forward + slotting into CB. Has a 90%+ 1v1 tackle percentage. Arsenal fans wanted Zinchenko dropped because he was costing them games. Salah > Saka.

On the Ballon d'Or argument, IF the world cup was happening this summer and Argentina happens to win it in the fashion that they did, the debate would be tighter because of the recency effect and Messi would win it because people would not be remembering the Treble as much. Zinchenko at LB in so many peoples teams is insane to me, he had maybe a 6 week spell where he played well and brought the "vibes" and the tears, other than that he has been bang average and actually missed chunks of the season with injuries and not really turned up in big games. It's like everyone jumped a weird bandwagon and rolled with him being the best in the league in his position, but Estupinian, Shaw, Ake and Burn have all been consistently better!
I's just people can't undestand how Arsenal was winning so many games this season (I didn't use phrase "How are they This good" because they played on similar level as in their collapse, just amount of lucky 93-95 min winners was insane, there a reason why almost all pundid already don't consider Arsenal challenging and all the talk is about Liverppol and United) so they have to force a reason. What changed from last season they get Striker that cannot score and defender that cannot defend. They had Lacazette on front so striker was not the reason, left back that cannot defend and plays in the middle was something new so they point at him as the biggest reason for Arsenal being 2nd.

The fact of the matter is that Harry Kane hasn't ever scored more Premier League goals in one season than Haaland has this year in his first attempt !! Not only Harry Kane hasn't managed it but no other player EVER in the Premier League with multiple seasons to do it have EVER scored 36 Premier League goals, even over a Premier League season of 42 games which is 4 more games than today's league !! Andy Cole scored 34 goals for Newcastle and was expected to score more in a Man United team with better service. He never managed it but won the treble after developing a partnership with Dwight Yorke and becoming more of team player !! The amount of goals Haaland has scored this season is unbelievable but City won the league without him last year and the year before anyway !! The outcome of the FA Cup final and Champions League final will determine his effect on Man City because as things stand he's just been a part of something that Man City done last year and the year before !! If Haaland scores 2 or 3 in each of those 2 finals and delivers the goals to win City the Treble then that would mean more to City fans than the 36 Premier League goals !! We've won the PL and FA Cup before and also the League Cup and Community Shield all in the same season so even winning the league and fa cup wouldn't be something we haven't done without him.

Saka who's allegedly the best winger in the world has worse numbers than Foden who's been out for half a season and Salah who's having his worst season. Saka has been good for Arsenal this season, nothing more, nothing less. He's one of the reasons why they've been challenging for the title and he's also one of the reasons why they've bottled it.
stop gassing it any person with a brain can see that Saka has performed better than both those players this season and put up the stats to back him up
@Terrance Tibbs such a casual take this.
How are sakas numbers worse than Fodens?
Saka has 13 goals and 11 assists in the league this season. No other player is in double figure for both stats. It shows the guy is an overall goal involvements machine. Apart from his penalty miss against West Ham, I dont know if you can argue he's one of the reasons arsenal have bottled the league. In a team sport, to single him out as the reason Arsenal didnt win the league is kind of baffling in all honesty
@@princekweyama3693 Saka has been avarage in the business end of the season. 1 goal in last 3 months 👍

@@jamesdshannon99 very true i hope klopp and our team prove these people wrong next season
Why would Allison be in there to start with?!?!😂😂 he’s probably been the 8th best keeper this season.
@@Mmyytt95I can just tell you haven't watched liverpool this year
@@Mmyytt95 are you American or something
Make a legit team for heavens sake - pick Kane or Haaland, Odeegaard or KDB.
Pos - Starter (Backup)
Goalkeeper - Allison (Ramsdale)
RB - Tripper (Walker) - Trips fine for PL , Walker handles Mbappe and Vini Jr
LCB - Stones (Saliba) - Stones best all around CB in world
RCB - Ruben Dias (Botman)
LB - Estupinian (Ake) - Estupinian well clear, Zinchenko cannot defend
Box-to-Box - Gundogan (Joelinton/Xhaka) - prob Joelinton more reliable
CDM - Rodri (Casemiro/Caicedo) - prob Caicedo, not as dirty
Attack Mid - KDB (Odegaard)
RW - Salah (Saka) - Saka not finished well, Salah world class still clear
CF - Haaland (Kane)
LW - Martinelli (Greaslish/Mitoma) - 50/50 on backup, Rashford not enuff all around
Manager - Pep (Howe/De Zerbi)
Super Subs - Firmino (Julian Alvarez) - all around and clinical off the bench
shocking stuff as per usual guys 😁👍
I wouldn't say it's too far off, one or two tweaks and it's there. Better than it would be with the other idiots
If using the same 4-3-3 formation, the unbiased TOTS is:
Alisson
Trippier
Gabriel
Ben Mee
Dan Burn
Rodri
Gross
Odegaard
Salah
Haaland
Rashford
Not a Pool fan, but Salah gets in there for me. 30 goal contributions in 37 games! Insane
How is Alisson not mentioned in best GK this season ? Outrageous that tbh.
14 clean sheets ( 3rd best in league)
Made some unbelievable stops to secure vital points for Liverpool.
This despite the team having a overall poor season.
Without Alisson, Liverpool would not be in a European spot, no doubt.
HP should have made a case for Casemiro imo
Casemiro is fantastic, but Rodri is easily the best CDM in the world.
@@Mcbikey24 facts
For me it’s 3-3-4 formation: Nick pope, Saliba, Ruben Dias, Lisandro Martinez, Rodri, De bruyne, Odegaard, Harry kane, Haaland, Martinelli, Saka
You actually watch football...fair play 🔥🔥
Yeah ake has been better by a county mile
Arsenal play similar to city and Barca of Old.We were the Only team in the prem to play like that until Pep came over here and installed it into his team but first he needed the players so he got the Saudi owners to buy basically most of Arsenal’s Starting 11 bare in mind Arsenal was still paying off the Emirates at the time.
Pep and Arteta are very close friends and in the UCL final 2011.Pep asked Arteta for advice and a way to counter united’s style of play. That’s why Barca looked so dominant.Because 2 great footballing minds came together. They went on to win 4 Prem Titles. With Mikel as his Assistant but they more or less had the same Authority in the training ground as certain players have spoken out about how Arteta is the reason why their game improved.
Pope
Trippier-stones-Dias-ake
Rodri
Odegard, debruyne
Saka, halaand, rashford or martinelli or grealish
At LEAST one of Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro and Rashford should have got in this team, 3rd best team in this league this season and the table shows it. To hardly even mention them for more than a second is shambolic
Nah
7-0
Coventry-Luton
over 3,5 goals odds: 3,7
For a United defence that's kept 17 clean sheets, it's poor to not have even a SINGLE United defender in the team.
I guess that's what success of a rival club does to rival fans.
You conceded 45 goals😂😂😂😂😂 Lmao this has to be a joke
@@colinedelman6392 MOST CLEAN SHEETS IN THE PREM
Funny thing is there’s 2 United fans there picking other teams defenders over there own… you can’t moan about rival fans when it’s literally your own fans…
@@thatonebirtyd5058 that's why I'm commenting expressing their extremely poor ball knowledge
@@colinedelman6392 42 actually, less goals than arsenal yet they're getting defensive shouts left right and centre. Most clean sheets in the league, only conceded 9 goals at home the least of any team. Shaw should have got in at LB
Tell me you don't watch Liverpool without saying you don't watch Liverpool.
Even as an Arsenal fan, I can see that Kane would have gotten more goals than Haaland has in this City team. He doesn’t have a KDB and for him to be involved so much in the build up and still get 28 (and counting) goals is unreal.
He needs to perform in those finals and make himself the difference
Pervis is the best left back in the premier league this year. No one has more assist than him. A bullet down that left line
*GK* should be David Raya, *RB* should be Luke Shaw(better than Zinchenko), *CDM* should be Casemiro(Rodri keeps being picked because he plays for City but Casemiro has been better in attacking and defending than him).
of course you say casemiro the red card merchant, Rodri deserves it more then him mate but casemiro has been fantastic.
Rodri is the most important player for the best team in the world
Bro trying to be diff 😂
My god🤦♂️, “only gets picked because he plays for city”, dumbest comment I’ve ever seen
Saliba over Botman is criminal
