Origin Traits in Destiny 2: Explained and Ranked

- One of the things that I didn't account for as much as I wanted to in some of my older tier lists is origin traits. As a result, I've decided to do my due diligence and make a video researching their effects as well as explaining their viability in endgame PvE. Enjoy!

Note: "Enhanced" origin traits are just referring to the specialization seasonal artifact mods that enhance origin trait effects :)
Aegis is my favorite origin trait 💍

would you say hes the aegis to your vulnerable heart?
On a more serious note: "if they ever put this on weapons in the future" is probably copium for any raid, dungeon, or seasonal origin trait, and probably destination ones too--I think the only exception we've ever had is Epochal Integration. Same with counting enhanced versions of things like Extrovert, as that is only accessible via seasonal artifact right now, and let's be real, they're never putting TWQ seasonal weapon origin traits in the artifact again.
This is Bungie, you cannot count out them reusing things like origin traits at some point. It could be a great excuse to rerelease some weapons as “new” or “reprised” in some way. Not saying it’s going to happen, but you definitely can’t say they won’t for sure. They ended up putting raid perks on regular ass guns so anything can happen.
@@seffers4788 I mean, they *could*, but why take that into account when ranking stuff? The idea that a hypothetical new Bray Inheritance gun might come out three years from now does us no good today.
On a side note, I love the word copium
Another idea that could be notable as an option in the future, enhanced origin traits for crafted weapons and adepts would be amazing
Yeah pretty cope lmao
Hakke breach is on a scout and a pulse that both roll headstone, and it's excellent and major build changer on that because it allows them to one shot break their own headstone crystals without the fragment that buffs primaries against crystals, freeing up a fragment slot
There's a hakke pulse with headstone? What's the name?
@@sharktrap267 disparity, jts from season of the seraph
It can roll on the Gambit sniper as well. Along with Vorpal. Not sure if that'll ever be needed, but it's there! Lol.
Harod-C from gambit can get it with headstone too, and that's a 360 so it's like an auto with pulse rifle range
"dawning surprise in on dawning weapons unsurprisingly"
I see what you did there
I just appreciate having more information especially coming from someone who has a deep understanding and respect for the scene
field tested VERY noticable on primary weapons becasue you will kill alot of enemys with them anyway
best examples are: Servant Leader, The Immortal, Battle Scar and Old Sterling
Gonna be honest with you in optimal endgame PvE content you're almost never going to get FT stacks high enough to be noticeable imo
I gotta agree with PandaXStorm. Especially with battlescar with kinetic tremors & shoot to loot in GM's during seasons when pulserifles are anti champion in the artifact, the amount of hits racks up insanely quick. It's also noticeable at 3-stacks and up, which is easy to archieve.
The issue is that wish-ender and other exotic primaries exist. But if you're designated Div, Gjally, etc you can run a demolitionist immortal or battlescar. The situations are niche, but the trait is strong IMO. B-tier at least. @@TheAegisRelic
@@TheAegisRelicI always get at least 3 by boss room and always 5 when soloing gms. S tier perk.
I'm happy you are listening and improving, even though the base tier lists are still solid! I'm looking forward to seeing the goals system in action!
I think there's also some hybridization that can be had here. For example, maybe you can have a utility score, an add clear score, a champion score, and a boss damage score, then you can weight them accordingly based on what the weapon type is. Fusions would be good for utility and champions, but not necessarily for add clear or boss damage, so the scores could be weighted accordingly.
Field tested is CRIMINALLY underrated here IMO, it’s not a rapid hit replacement, but it is more than noticeable on any primary that gets it
Scales way too slowly to be good in PvE imo
In PvP, Field Tested dominates. It’s the reason why Immortal is such a monster; you get one stack in 2 shots, a second stack in 4 shots, and a third stack in 8 shots. It takes 9 shots at a minimum to kill with Immortal, so getting a kill gives you a beefy stat bump in your Range, Stability, Handling and Reload until you DIE. Immortal snowballs like crazy.
Same can’t be said for PvE. It’s still good, and I consider it great for Solo Flawless since it only resets on death, but there’s better origin traits like Alacrity, Souldrinker and Cursed Thrall.
this week is blessed with so many aegis videos releasing 🙌
These tier lists you’ve been doing are incredible. Thank you so much for this info.
Classy contender is definitely not a perk equivalent but I’m gonna let you know, on the All for All title it is so helpful. 33% Damage, 10 Stability, 35 Handling, 10 Range, 5% Increased Damage Falloff Distance, and 35 Reload Speed. This gun becomes essentially a better funnelweb. This doesn’t drop on the current gun, only the old one, but let me tell you it is so good, and classy contender doesn’t make it broken by any means but it’s the cherry on top.
It's definitely helpful on The Title for sure
I was hoping for this Video. Good stuff!
Thanks for doing all these, very useful to the community!
The moment I feel like I've comprehended and absorbed the information of one tier list and am ready to put it to use, the man puts out a new one for me to study
Dude, thank you for all the work you put into these videos. GOATed!
Glad you’re redoing your tier list criteria. I stopped watching a lot of your tier videos because the list ranking felt like it was missing something. I was nervous about where you’d put land tank but am really happy it’s an s tier. I love those craftable weapons. Been using the sorrow auto with demolitionist for my lock vesper build and it makes me feel confident in end game content.
Aegis, brother, we all appreciate these videos so much. You're a voice for people who are new to the game that want to become speed runners and such. The amount of work you put in for these videos is admirable.
Extrovert is really fun with stasis, as when you kill with your weapon and the enemy shatters, it procs multiple times.
Also nice to see you improving the tier list, I felt it kinda misrepresented some things
Dude, your tier list is cool, I didn't have seen any better
Great idea for a video. This was enjoyable. Thank you
My pleasure :)
The first big dive into origin traits, much thanks, can't wait for the 5 hour aegis vid on ranking every perk
i really love my under your skin bow with land tank and the added unrelenting and turnabout perk combo to make myself pretty much unkillable. and bows are pretty easy to kill targets with aswell even in endgame content.
granted though, i haven't used it in a while since that playstyle isn't quite the fastest one, but still worth a mention imo
I personally find Nadir Focus useful at the lanterns encounter, to nearly negate the darkness slow without the cooldown of Eager Edge and arguably more predictable
having 10 meters of lunge until stowing sure is useful!/srs
That was actually what people originally had in mind when it was first discovered, however it's a bit too quirky and ends up not being used these days
Very informative, thanks mate 👌
Restoration ritual on the glaive when used with echo of obscurity or assassins cowl was so damn good for me in the Psiops moon GM
insta reload + stealth on every finisher, and then using glaive shield while out of stealth to set up another finisher
absolutely trivialized the room with the solar wizards where you have to dunk the tributes
its not a super fast strat so I def get why you wouldnt bother being a speedrunner, but for my more casual squad it was super clutch
This is extremely valuable information that doesn't feel like gets covered enough, thank you for doing god's work. You're pulling the average combat IQ of the community up by yourself.
I've been enjoying these tier lists, I dig it. Neat to see where stuff I like to use even its not objectively meta lands, I definitely appreciate these
not sure if he mentions it at any point, but the only way to get Enhanced versions of origin traits is via the seasonal artifact perk that boosts a set of recent origin traits. so like right now the only enhanceable ones are Nanotech, Unsated, Head Rush, and Cursed Thrall. stuff like Extrovert and Bray Inheritance will probably never be enhanced again
Appreciate you making the updates and taking feedback :)
Blank :3
i don't know if my previous comment talking about quillim's contributed for your ranking origin traits or not, but i came here to say that your tier lists were pretty good, i don't even comment in the ones that i don't like, i just close the video and click another tab, you have been a blessing in the destiny community and i am really impressed with how much you've grown in such little time, i swear, 3 months ago i didn't even know you existed, and now i personally think you are one of the best (if not the best content creator) in this area (basically end game builds for damage rotations), keep it up man, you are awesome
Yeah I saw your and a bunch of other people's comments (even if I don't respond, I read and internalize every single comment), so I wanted to remake my lists next season with better awareness, especially for stuff like glaives
Genuinely loving the content mate, easily my fav D2 creator ATM. I haven't been absent from the crucible for this long, just vibin this content and enjoying pve
nadir focus actually allows for infinite flight on titans even without ammo so you can swap to a sword at any point and anywhere if you need to cross a gap, something i found out when testing different types of swords for skates and flying
That is actually pretty nice
@@TheAegisRelicafter using 5 sword swipes when out of ammo you can then jump and start titan flying, pretty damn handy. As long as you don't mess up your rotation it's infinite.
I appreciate your efforts into making an improved tier list and I want to thank you for that
On another less serious note
I personally find explosive pact to be extremely useful on the hand cannon (nation of beasts), because of voltshot requiring a manual reload, and since I mostly use a grenade builds, and specially on arc that has a lot of ability regen with ionic traces, so I found the reload speed with explosive pact helps out a lot to proc voltshot
And also good with the auto rifle imo
1sr time watching your videos. Subbed pretty quickly. You have a great sound
shoot to loot explosive head fel teradiddle has gotta be one of my new favorite primaries crafted with min draw time and max reload speed, it isn't doing crazy damage but for gms when you need just metric tons of ammo and need to deal with barriers it is great, psycho hack procs after only two hits which is awesome.
I pair this with Helm of Saint 14 and the exotic glaive. The mini bubble can provide nice cover and breathing room for it. Carried my buddies on the legendary Witch Queen campaign with this combo
“Dawn surprise is from season of the Dawn, unsurprisingly”. D2 poetry 👌
this video may not have solved world hunger but it did solve my need for Origin Trait rankings.
Just some feedback in the sea of feedback;
I entirely agree that universal “algorithm” based rankings aren’t truly effective. Context matters a lot, even within weapon types. Individually looking at the weapons and why one perk might make another matter more, or less, based on specific details on a weapon by weapon basis, is the most accurate you can get IMO.
But alternatively, or additionally, you could embrace a more subjective approach. Not entirely subjective, just more. Fighting for true objectivity is not always even possible, adding a bit of subjective flair could be valuable framing/rebranding while still maintaining the core intent.
Take whatever bits from this you agree with, or none at all that’s totally valid too. Either way, love the vids. Keep ‘em coming
Yeah tier lists will always be at some level subjective but I do want to acknowledge that I have made some serious lapses in judgment in some of the lists and I want to work to correct them
When are the barrels and mags being ranked
in his endgame godroll guide he said prioritize speed so handling and reload on most weapons and charge time and draw time on fusions and bows
always go for handling and reload range stability don’t matter
I wanna see a solar primary with heal clip that gets noble deeds tbh, that’d be amazing
land tank is a very slept on origin trait especially, I have an example in day one crota on ir yut where teammates were struggling to stay alive before damage and I just recommended max resil with elemental embrace with explosive personality and or sweet sorrow and things were just fine 2 runs after that
This is great content.
Sad to see how far veist stinger has fallen. Was the best thing about Funnelweb/Taipan/Reeds. Now I rarely use them.
I love trustee because of the foundry perk. Since incandescent scorch damage contributes to the energy gains, using it with pugilist and the solar fragments gives you crazy melee regen.
Yeah the scorch ticks counting towards Bray are nice
I know it's not the most meta thing in the world but I really appreciate One Quiet Moment on the ritual scout rifle Last Rite, it's like a compulsive reloader replacement after a kill c:
OQM buff helped it a bit but not enough imo :(
Hey Id love to be able to see the builds that you use for background footage, especially bc these last few ones seem to be speedrun-ish things and i think thats so cool
Sure which ones in particular
Explosive Pact goes hard on Chattering Bone with kill clip. If you run healing nades it stacks very quickly and the reload boost and stability bump are noticable
I watch these in the background while i work since they are fairly longer form videos; i am pretty clueless what to do with this info (Been playing destiny since launch, but never became more than a day job jimothy).. What do I do with this info to apply it to endgame? How do I improve?
Edit: do you have any videos to help apply this to gameplay?
Origin traits aren't really hugely impactful on gameplay so I'd suggest starting elsewhere, in terms of actual improvement my damage series is decent and bits of pieces from the Starting with Speedrunning video are probably a good shout as well
I forgot about the dream work bug. That was a lot of fun. Merciless and fourth horseman were so fun with it.
Also sucks about veiat stinger I had kinda forgotten how strong that was.
Defiance of Yasmin is my go to Raid DPS Sniper due to Runneth over and the fact it can roll with Ensamble & Firing Line. The combination of that origin trait with those two perks make it the ultimate weapons for sitting in a well with 6 Guardians during DPS lol
Does Hakke breach armaments work on shriekers? I'm pretty sure they are coded as vehicles.
It should I believe
Random question: When using Burning Maul, does spamming Light attacks or Heavy attacks do more total damage?
Beyblading is the way to go
We all need to know asap: have you any plans to post tier list of tier lists???
I feel nervous any day without your tier list video.
I don't even played d2 this weekend, but watched all your vids
ATP got me covered for that one
Quicksilver storm also has nanotech tracer rockets for the little bit of extra damage as as well
It's not technically the origin trait, in that it doesn't benefit from the artifact when Nanotech is in the artifact; at least, not as far as I'm aware. Still a great thing to have on that gun though lol
@@life-destiny1196 yeah I think ur right
I think one of the best ways (all be it, labor intensive) regarding diversifying weapons on "best roll scenerio", is to look at all weapons of that archetype, look at all of the best perks that archetype offers collectively, and give perk combos to weapons on a per-use basis. For example, you could give a score for Militia's Birthright based on the fact that it's the only kinetic GL with Autoloading & Lead from Gold and can roll adept.. where as Pardon our Dust is the only craftable kinetic gl.
Seperating crafted/enhanced perks & rolls that come on non-craftable/adept weapons is paramount to judging the value of each weapon. So another idea could be ranking the craftable weapons and non craftables seperately to make finding uniqueness in each weapon an easier task. Overall your tier lists have been pivotal to weapon dps rotations and general play, so keep up the great work!
I feel like hakke breach is gonna be very useful during final shape with subjugators
Cassoid Wild Card is also really good on the pulse rifle, it combines with headstone to make auto exploding stasis crystals if you have the fragment that buffs primary damage to crystals
Also great on the bow with Incandescent as scorched enemies can get low enough to die to the bolt and anything that dies to that bolt will proc Incandescent. If timed right, that enemy who died to the Incandescent explosion could spawn another telesto bolt.
Since shriekers are considered vehicles, would hakke breach armerments proc on the heist battle ground: Europa boss? It makes the perk situational but maybe rockets and snipers with it could have more of a place in situations like that?
I wouldn't be surprised honestly, Hakke hasn't appeared on any DPS-relevant weapons yet though
Rapacious Appetite with Bakris is the only time I found myself getting Unsated Hunger to trigger frequently and consistently.
It's a good SMG for that exotic.
How do you enhance an origin perk? I was watching and thinking this the whole way through
Disregard the original comment, the seasonal artifact perks can enhance some origin perks
Aegis the best origin trait (love your videos keep em up)
Cursed Thrall apparently procs Shoot To Loot, which is nice on Fang.
Re: Field-Tested, I can say I pretty much sit at 5 stacks for most of an encounter with Harsh Language. You get a lot more stacks per kill than per hit, so Ammo-efficient ad clear weps do great with it esp since it carries over while stowed. If we ever get an LMG or Trace (unlikely due to style reasons) I’d imagine it could be quite good.
I would have put hakke breach further up because the upside of breaking stasis crystals pairs wonderfully with herod-c, a stasis hakke auto rifle that can roll headstone
I'm aware of Herod's existence but for the purposes of endgame PvE that tends to not really be a relevant consideration
restoration ritual NPE with my severance enclosure void build is so much fun. I can also imagine it on felwinters, but unfortunately since it has no true reload perk it’s limited to builds like that
For Wild Card I did some testing and found that Elites and up always drop bolts. They also seem to take the properties of your weapon, meaning the damage, perks, and origin trait (yes it can proc itself, more below). So on the bow the telesto bolts do at most 1537 and with 3 Solar surge mods they do 1875 and with Radiant +3 Surges they do 2344. This may likely stack with damaging perks too but I haven't tested that yet. The damage also scales with distance and has about a half second detonation time and seem to have to stick to a surface before it can detonate. The closer the enemy is to the bolt, the more damage it'll do.
Here's a unique interaction:
On the bow with Incandescent I found that occasionally a single bolt will be enough to kill a scorched target and when they die to the bolt Incandescent procs scorching nearby targets. Now the timer between bolt spawns is also much quicker. I tested on the red bar taken in Shuro Chi and had a bolt spawn about 8-9 seconds after the last. The frequency of bolt spawns was enough to notice them even on just killing red bars. The bolts last about 10 seconds (and can't be destroyed).
This create a unique interaction where if you have an active bolt and the timer is close to that 8 second mark it can kill an enemy proccing Incandescent and dropping another telesto bolt. Even if the timing isn't spot on the Incandescent explosion after the first kill can kill another enemy and if it's in that window, it'll drop a bolt.
So with those bolts lying around between waves of enemies it can proc on itself allowing the bolt to spawn another bolt and of course any enemies killed with those bolts proc Incandescent.
Another thing to note about the bolts: They count towards your fragments that proc off Solar weapon kills. So they can add a stack of Tempering and also refresh your Radiant and Restoration.
IMO I think a lot of people are sleeping on what Wildcard bolts can currently do and what future weapons with the trait can do for subclass synergy. If we ever get one with Chill clip I can only imagine how land mines that cause AoE slows would annoy PvP players and also add a lot of free CC in higher end content.
Now I'm imagining a slideshot/chill clip/wild card stasis GL and how many people would cry
@@life-destiny1196 Lets be real, a slideshot + Chillclip special GL would make people cry regardless of origin lol.
Pretty nice finds! Thanks for your work :)
How did you not put runeth over in s tier. How high were you on when you made this?
Not as good as the stuff in S
I think i remember a twab where bungie mentioned they changed One Quiet Moment to proc after getting that kill- it was mostly designed for things like duels and 3v3 pvp. Doesn't change it a lot, but it isn't bad.
Vanguard Vindication has saved my life a few times
Wild card might go up a bit in value if psy hermetic or a new pulse/smg that has ad clear rolls becomes decent the base stats on most of the weapons currently are so close to excellent for endgame that it wouldn't take much to bump it up either to top of it's tier or to the bottom of the next one.
Hakke breech on The Title with stats for all and one for all is cracked. Pops the crystal in one shot while saving a fragment slot and procs boths perks.
I'll be curious to see how these lists change in the future, not only because of the obvious addition of new weapons and changes in the sandbox, but because there will be some revamps in the future we're still waiting on. Keep in mind, two raids in the game are still awaiting revamps (VoG and GoS), and there's a slim chance that one of them will receive said revamp next season. This means new perk rolls, the ability to be crafted, and most importantly ( *in my opinion* ), origin traits. I doubt they'd go this far, but there's the hope that the same treatment will be given to legacy dungeons too (Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy, Grasp of Avarice).
ive been really loving the title on briarbinds, but thats basically the only viable use case for classy contender
Subjective for Psychohack, but Red Herring is an incredibly underrated rocket. I ran mine with Field Prep and Lasting Impression for Master Warpriest on Void Burn and that debuff was pretty useful.
There's also the Come to Pass Auto Rifle which I run with Shoot to Loot and Adaptive Munitions in GMs. I break Barriers like it's nothing and I don't have to make risky ammo runs
Come to Pass is a good shout in general, but Psychohack's weakness is mostly its minuscule value
Is there a video about soloing endgame content just wanna know
One quiet moment works even stowed, so if you reload a weapon and then switch a weapon with the trait, it's almost guaranteed to be procced. That's how I usually see it proc on Riptide. As nice as it is to reload really quickly, if the room is clear, there's no rush to reload either.
Also, Bungie updated the perk with the 1.5s thing because it was just the first part for a while and was pretty bad.
Veist Stinger is really only effective on Explosive Payload bows now, which is a shame
Glad to hear Aegis reconsidering ranking Nezarec's Whisper w/ Extrovert low after people like me, who love that glaive, commented on the glaive tier list.
Respect reinstated 👍
Not to spoil anything but Nezarec's is now the only glaive in S if you check the analysis sheet :)
@@TheAegisRelic😁 awesome sauce man. Made my day
Good video Aegis just wondering why you cut out the 54 minute long rant about British people
MI6 has surrounded my house
Unsated Hunger and Enhanced Well Rounded is all you need to know about that origin trait. Practically all the Deep weapons have WR on them, so combine them and they become some of the strongest weapons for their type.
I mean WR is useless when Unsated already boosts stats so high they are essentially maxed no matter what
Field tested underrated, its really nice on the wave GL
one serious note on nadir's focus's lunge distance thing, yeah, it is true that its not better than eager edge in terms of speedrun potential, however it is quite useful if you don't have an eager edge sword, or if you are behind on crota's abyss encounter which many people still attempt to skip only to have more people dead than there are revives almost every god damn time.
i legit use it over eager edge because i have more lunge freedom than with eager edge when navigating because if i happen to target a thrall that is near a hole, i can swing before i fall into it unlike with eager edge which wont do that.
not saying its a bad perk or the effect should be A tier, but it definitely is more noticeable than you'd think, 10 meters lunge after 4 swings is nothing to scoff at when you keep it until stowing the sword rather than after 1 swing within the first 3 seconds of pulling out the sword, and yes, it does stay at max power after 4 swings, it doesn't reset until you stow it for 3 seconds. (the stow part requires some testing but i'm certain of the swings part)
Btw pulse implifier works similar to auto load. Full mag refresh even when stored when low health
Some of the tier list have had a few weird things about them. Like the shotgun their list in particular, I use Heritage a LOT more in endgame pve because it does good enough dps while also having reconstruction. I tried to use a gun you put at the top with auto and cascade and personally wasnt a fan. Maybe it was that if you run cascade you give up dps perks or it just burns through ammo much quicker but I still prefer heritage for that job. It also could be intangables like my personal bias or the feel of slugs but it just felt strange to put Heritage under something like Until Its Return.
That being said I really appreciate the changes. They seem to work better.
Different guns for different jobs. He comes at it from a very high end player perspective, considering stuff like dps, use cases, flexibility. Noticeably, ammo economy is lower priority because it's expected that you have aeons or cenotaphs or special finisher. But if you want to know whats the best of the best, that's what these tier lists are for, I think.
I used to use heritage too but I've been using the strand rapid fire from season of the deep way more often since I crafted it even before the tier lists were made.
I think a big part of your problem with the shotty tier list (maybe) is that it is a different style of gameplay. Heritage is very good at its job and can 1 shot most things with 10 stacks, but you have to get the stacks and then it's inconsistent damage if you don't and need to do dps. The rapid fire ALWAYS has the bonus, and is super consistent.
It might just be a new style of gameplay you need to learn in order to see the benefit.
At the end of the day though, how a weapon feels to you matters a whole lot as well.
@@sauceinmyface9302 Yeah I can understand that I just feel recon is easier to use than cascade. You need a kill right before you proc it and thats not always possible especially if you are running lfg gms. Heritage you just need some kills at any time before shooting a champ and that will almost always happen.
Finisher tierlist when? jk. Keep your content it has really been amazing.
Was/is the navigator farmable this week? I did 50+ boss kills before someone told me it’s not farmable, not sure if that’s true
IIRC dungeon and raid exotics are only farmable from the weekly rotating featured one, not from the most current one. I might be wrong though
If we ever get unstop GL again, Stunning Recovery would probably instantly fully reload Empty Vessel. Not saying it's significant enough to factor in, but I just thought of it and think it's kinda neat.
We need to go deeper. Please tier the 1st/2nd column perks next.
I've found Hakke breach armaments to be most useful on the Palmyra-B precision rocket, with auto loading + explosive light, makes it a great long range chunk damage source against tanks, turrets, and ESPECIALLY threshers, given that precision frames have tracking built in
The thing that sucks is that it’s not on a meta archetype. The origin trait it basically making up for adaptive damage but only on one enemy type
Unfortunately -20% from Precision already offsets the +15% from Hakke
Veist is my favorite foundry because of veist stinger, and they just murdered my boy
Aegis,
Concerning Right Hook... I think it's at least a C, with it coming closer to B for 2 weapons. Overall, yes, you are right that it's probably more pvp oriented. However, this is a noticeable buff to the Blood Feud SMG and Brigand's Law Sidearm, especially when paired with an Arc Hunter and Warlock(sorry to all Striker Titans, but your melee abilities are a bit situational to me). And since these weapons were released when Arc 3.0 came out, they are more melee focused on purpose due to Arc being a strong ad clear melee option.
If you don't really believe me, try Blood Feud with Smallbore, Steady Rounds, Pugilist and Frenzy with a Stability Masterwork, and Brigand's Law(and a lot of people are going to kill me for this, but it was recommended by Spade and I do enjoy it) with Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Threat Detector and Swashbuckler and a Range Masterwork(I know Voltshot is on this thing, but I didn't enjoy it as much. The Ikelos SMG utilizes it better). The origin trait becomes very noticeable on these 2 after landing a melee kill, so yeah.
In the end, it just comes down to opinion. I am biased towards this origin trait(Blood Feud is Lvl. 99 with over 7,000 kills, but currently doesn't have much use in end game due to no Overload SMG this season. Brigand's Law is the same reason, but is only Lvl. 44 due to being a recent craft), so if you don't enjoy it in end game, that's fine. Hope you have a good day.
P.S. Probably a better origin trait for raids. GM's are much less forgiving for aggressive Arc players like myself
the ikelos origin trait is goated for pvp since it proc's every time you break a guardian shield so you can gun down 2 players before having to reload
With wilderflight if you shoot but press the ads button afterwards you keep the trait buff.
Good to know
I feel like explosive pact could get better if verity’s brow builds become super popular with the new warlock super. If you’re throwing grenades, any of the last wish weapons will benefit from it, so if for whatever reason we’re in a meta where reloading techeun force or supremacy with B&S is worthwhile, it’ll act as a free reload perk.
I enjoy it a lot as someone who uses nation of beasts a lot with Sunbracers or arc titan, as a nice little reload bonus while I’m running voltshot dragonfly.
Noble deed also very good with Regnant-Izzy combo because you already have a GL with max handling so you only need Dexterity for Izzy. The combo is good but a certain Strand GL just had to powercrept it
I also highly suggest using any Noble Deeds weapon with the Mothkeepers Wraps on hunters. The void shield moth you spawn procs Noble Deeds. Highly recommended on a Strand Hunter using Perpetualis and Golden Tricorn. The moth grenades will still count as your subclass nade so when you throw a moth down and shield an ally you get Noble Deeds plus Golden Tricorn x2 procced. This with the fragment for grenade energy on damage gives you pretty much 100% uptime of moths (that shield and blind with decent damage) to keep huge uptime of Golden Tricorn x2 and Noble deeds.
Reminder that console having accuracy and stability is a defiantly still useful especially on smgs
I can say anecdotally, I have never once noticed field tested on my Harsh Language GL, which since I use it primarily to clear trash ads is theoretically best case scenario for it to be active
(For the record I use harsh language because I don't have enough friends to raid and get forbearance)
I’m the one Guardian who woke up really glad after Braytech Osprey was announced since I knew it would have Vanguard’s Vindication. I use RLs for clearing, so Vindication is Unrelenting Jr. 💪
I like Unsated Hunger on utility/addclear weapons if I’m running an ability spam build. If I mess up the loop, I wanna have a gun with Demo to get me back in the fight.
