    What do you think of the Toyota Hilux Pickup? Can you see yourself in one? Annabelle

    The king is back. The Hilux is deffo the one I'd choose over all its competition. Has the looks as well as everything else I'd need for a pickup. The colour is wonderful too, it's a new colour I'd consider. Thanks

    That's some pick up. I think you could virtually access most terrain in on of these too..the bronze colour just suits it 👌 great review as always by you both 👍

      Thank you David, it’s certainly a bit of a beast, and sure you’ll agree Annabelle makes off roading look easy.

      @@PlanetautoUK Ben she certainly does! She drove along that lane as if it was tarmacadam. She's a good 'un 🙂👌

      You wouldn’t fit down most green lanes in that.

      You do no problem - if you think that’s wide the Raptor is a cm wider and the AT35 D Max even wider the standard D Max is wider too.

    Top of the range is the Gr Sport tho. That comes second to it 🫶🏽

      Yes, as we mentioned, don’t even think it’s for sale as yet though Shatho or delivery dates etc

      Not much difference the gr sport to be honest. Certainly not worth the extra cost.

      We’re yet to drive one, how does the engine compare? as this one as you know pulls like a train.

    Looking more and more like the Tacoma 🤔

      It is, not that we’ve ever seen one in the flesh, thank you Nico

    The engine on the invisible x is the same as the one on the GR but the GR produces more power than 150kw and 500nm in the invisible x also known as the legend RS in Africa(that power is for automatic transmissions) manual’s produce less power. The Gr produces 165kw and 550nm. The power jump is extremely impressive. Unmatched. Nonetheless, that’s a beautiful and powerful car you have 🫶🏽

      Interesting Shatho, thank you - here it’s the same output, bigger limitations here on emissions etc

      Not hard to get more power out of this motor.... +30 injectors and a tune.

      @lueyR what type of increase in bhp torque etc will this see? Intriguing 😀

      @lueyR 6 месяцев назад +1

      @PlanetautoUK depends on how far you want to push the motor! You can get 250HP out of them. Hiluxes are detuned for the reliability of the engine. Stock these things will drive forever. But pushing these motors will affect their longevity :)

      @PlanetautoUK also, the specs put out these days are all at the flywheel. So for true BHP ypu have to take into account drive train loss and tyre size :)
