Correction: Acts chapter 1, says He appeared to His disciples over forty days.
(To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
    Acts 1:3
    NASB1995)
Therefore, after His ascension they waited 10 days in Jerusalem for the promised Holy Spirit.

It is equally significant that Yeshu went up into the high mountain at Kefar Nagum and gave a New Torah to Israel. This is often forgotten.

I had to add a correction, Jesus was with the apostles 40 days and in that 40th day he ascended to heaven, and then 10 days more the pentecost. Your described it the opposite way

I did not see this question answered. Is it required to still keep the literal 7th day, Saturday Sabbath according to the OT description ??

It was answered as a blanket statement that yes, through Yeshua, through the Holy Spirit, we are now able to keep the whole 'Law' (translated as Torah, teaching in Hebrew.) This includes the fourth commandment of Sabbath on the seventh day. Not just in the giving of the 10 commandments is Sabbath commanded by God. We see it again more explicitly stated that the sabbath is a perpetual/eternal ordinance. Exodus 31:16. Read around that verse for context, but my point remains. God bless!

Translator purposefully replaced Shavuot to Pentecost. This is a huge MISTAKE.
The Feast of Shavuot was fulfilled by Yeshua's Ascension. Then, the Pentecost happened in the Feast of Wine. These two events can not happen on the same day. According to Torah, all males shall gather in Jerusalem for the Feast of Shavuot which His disciples all Known. He typically told His disciples wait in Jerusalem after Shavuot. May the Feast of Wine be the rapture season?! I hope so in 2024.
