To me, Ao Nang is one place that I love shopping around at night than anywhere else in Thailand - it has a nice and relaxed vibe which is what I prefer - loved shopping around where Ao Nang Mosque is located with the food stalls outside
Hope your Eat Up is going well!!!! It always amazes me to see an actual 'mall' in your vids...and then to see hardly anyone in them. The street markets are always so busy! Very interesting vid. Can't wait to see todays (Dec 17th) vid!!! Thanks Darren
Thanks Missy B! The Eat Up was a lot of fun, and a lot of food. Unfortunately there won't be any videos from this one, but there are some photos on your favorite website, Facebook, at facebook.com/thailandvideos/ ;). Yes, the markets are always a lot busier than the malls, much more fun too :). I hope you're keeping well!
Another fantastic video from the best RUclips creator in Thailand. I love shopping in Thailand. My wife does too. Always a fun experience. A big Cheers from Perth Australia
Another on the mark vid for me I always shop till I drop when I am in Thailand but got to be honest it is getting very much like America just hope they don't change everything thanks for sharing
Don't forget: This Sunday, December 17, 2017 is the 1st Darrenb3 Eat Up, at Krabi Walking Street Night Market, Maharat Road, Krabi Town. Meet at 6.30pm across the road from the market entrance. (Outside the shop labeled “357”). Hope to see you there, bring your appetite :)
Hi David, Here's a playlist of places I've been to, and can recommend, in Patong. ruclips.net/p/PLNLfDOIkGB128j2QK-HzUXdOlTlKPjbcG The only restaurant I've ever eaten at there was Poo Nurntong - it was pretty good, I give it 4 out of 5.
in every one of these market videos, I see 20 to 30 gorgeous, normal girls that i'd love to meet and get to know, but i'm here and they are 8000 miles away,, and the food ,,, ohhhhhhh the food.. I admire you , Darren , for living a life you love !! money would help lol ,, me I mean lol .. anyway thank you for continuing to produce these videos.. I like how you interact with everyone..i'd enjoy seeing more vids from the school you teach at ,, all the children are beautiful and respectful to the adults... and I appreciate you aren't afraid to live in a predominately Muslim area.. cultural interaction is the spice of life .. I've been watching at least 2 years ,, cant afford to contribute to patreon ,, but I just wanted to say thank you !!
Hahaha, sounds like you might have to try to get to Thailand one of these days. Thanks for the nice message and thanks for watching! All the best, Darren
It early not so busy and a little show here as well very good shop selling cloths very good shop and lots of beautiful goods thank you for sharing your beautiful video, 5-1-19,
I've never been to Hua Hin or Pattaya, so I can't compare them I'm afraid. Yes, Krabi has touristy spots, so there are lots of tourists in those places. We spend about 35,000 baht per month on average for our family's monthly expenses.
Is there anything you've needed to buy and can't find local to you in Krabbe or Ao Nang? It sure seems like there's just about everything there. It also appears so tourist friendly. I live all of the colorful thungs you always find to film. Great video Darren, please tell Aorn and Ananda Hi from us all the way over in the US in South Carolina. Hugs to you all hun 😁
Thanks Gina! When I had problems with my Mac laptop I had to go to Phuket, as their is no authorised Mac repairer in Krabi. Also I haven't been able to find hoi sin sauce here, or shaved bonito for when I'm cooking Japanese pancakes (okonomiyaki). Apart from that I think we everything here ;) Hugs back, I hope you're staying warm!
Hi Victoria, It really depends on exactly what you want. If I was staying in Krabi I would stay in Ao Nang. It is on the beach, Krabi Town has no beach. Ao Nang is more touristy, Krabi Town is more of a local Thai Town.. My family stayed at the Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort and loved it. An Auntie has stayed at the L Resort in Ao Nang, she said it was great. Both are cental and safe I don't know the hotels in Krabi Town. One of my subscribers stayed at the Sassi House and said it was great. I would recommend go to agoda.com and look for hotels there and check the most recent reviews. I hope that helps. All the best, Darren
darrenb3 thanks. How far is Krabi to Phuket, ? Driving? I already bought the ticket to BKK for two weeks in September. We try to visit Chiangmai and Krabi areas

Thanks bro! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours too!
How does Krabi compare the other provinces?like Pattaya & Hua hin, is there a high number of tourists also what is average monthly cost of living?
I've never been to Hua Hin or Pattaya, so I can't compare them I'm afraid. Yes, Krabi has touristy spots, so there are lots of tourists in those places. We spend about 35,000 baht per month on average for our family's monthly expenses.
darrenb3 that’s excellent value if it includes rent, as I spend a similar amount in Pattaya for 1 person including all costs
darrenb3 that’s cheap rent & very good deal
Yes, that includes rent (5,000/month). We live a very Thai-style life though, which is not expensive to do in Thailand.
Nice
Thank you 🙏

Hugs back, I hope you're staying warm!
We're trying to stay warm here, I think our high today was maybe 35 f. This is unusual for us at this time of year.
Eww, that's not nice. Hopefully early winter means an early spring.
Night market in krabi is it open during low season? Everyday all year round?
Yes, they are open all year round.
Красава! Отличный влог! Молодец!
Thank you!
Been to all places there :-) Miss it now, back to bloody cold and boring Sweden :-( 5555
But nice video :-)
Hahaha. Thanks, I hope you're staying warm!

Any idea where I can get tattoo by monk in krabi
No, sorry, no idea.
Hi Darren
Are most of your subscribers and viewers foreigners or from Thailand 👍
Hi, Most of my subscribers and viewers are from the USA.
darrenb3 Ok Cheers. I'm from Australia. Most of my viewers are from Thailand. I'm just trying to build up my overseas audience. Any ideas ??
All I can suggest is to make content that appeals to the audience you want to target.
most people show shit, good job on the video champ
Thanks John!
Very good for the Thailand"s government in promoting tourists to come to Thailand and boost their economy and foreign exchange.
6:13 tesco billboard - is this predator real? Looks like :]
