Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Tommy is a huge plus for golf. Not arrogant, just a golfer that has worked hard and done well.

Just back into golf after nearly 12 years so a lot of the players were unknown to me, slowly starting to recognise players and Tommy is by far my favourite, he's just a really cool guy.. so humble and down to earth... great series with him...👍👍👏👏

Tommy is pure class… biggest takeaway from this video? The thought process around the way these guys play is always positive. Tommy us one of my favorite professional golfers today. I loved this video. He said exactly what I've been told in I calmer and more articulate way. It made me want to go out and practice today and it's not going to get above freezing today. Less than ideal.

What a legend! Tommy’s my new favorite tour player after this series. One thing to reiterate on the chipping part of the video that I’ve put into practice and has made me into a much better chipper….choosing the club was the *fourth* step in his process. Don’t always reach for the 56 or 58deg
Really enjoying these videos with Tommy - he's a pleasure to watch, and so good to see such a wonderful golfer playing in an 'ordinary' situation - carrying his own bag on a cold and soggy day on one of the other videos. He comes across as a very likeable, humble guy (while also being a sensational golfer). ...and his 5 tips are perfect too - easy to understand and to implement.

Rick. This video made me think of all the stuff that I need to improve on. It took me about 18 minutes to watch this because I was righting down all the tips and stuff so I can remember them. Also love the content you make. Keep doing a great job.

Thank you Tommy and Rick for videos like this. It is awesome to see some of the things that the touring pros do behind the cameras. Us as fans only see them in action on tour so to see things like this will be so helpful for my game and give me things to focus on.
Tried the front foot stamp technique this morning with my irons as I was chunking it frequently. That is a excellent tip thanks Tommy, what a lad👍
Since watching this vid, I’ve been down the range and only got on the course this weekend. The tip about teeing higher and forward in my stance and feeling I’m hitting up on the ball has transformed my driving. Eradicated my Erm…. Fade??? (Read: Massive slice) that my local pros couldn’t cure! Carrying 10-20 yards further even in the cold and allows me to swing faster with control that I could only dream of before! Thanks guys! ❤️
Rick, your content is always brilliant, but in this series, you’re raising the bar! Tommy is a proper lad and a really good sport giving his time for this. I was a massive Tommy-fan before, and he’s just impressing me even more, every day. Quality player, seems like a really nice guy. Happy, positive. Excellent.
Many of my favorite of Rick’s videos are of him playing with high level pros, and seeing how affable many of them are. I’d give anything to play with Tommy for sure!

Rick you are the best. Having Tommy on your channel has been so cool, great advice. My son is a junior golfer and we know his distances on skytrak and mevo + and it works ok. Keeping a shot journal is such a great idea for on the course , will be doing it from now on for sure. I always analyze my rounds which dictates what I will be working on, I'm not sure my son does yet but he has me to talk him through it for now. I have an uncanny ability to remember every stroke.
Love Ricks enthusiasm for everything golf. You can see how much he loves the game everytime he posts.

Thank you Tommy and Rick for some great tips; I will need to hit the range in the couple of day and work on the driver and irons. My drive is very inconsistent so I will definitely need to practice. Tommy seems like the person that if you saw in the pub after a round, he would be excited to hear what your best 3 shots were. Great video
Great content! I try to always journal my best three shots. It definitely helps to focus on the positive vs negative of the round.

Thanks for the pointers. Loved all the tips especially ending on a good note. Golf is hard and you have to be kind to yourself. Thinking about what went well is so important and as important if not more important than what you need to work on.
Yup.. the fundamentals are important to even the very best of the best. Great video guys. Been working on my wedge distances recently. Writing down the 1/2, 3/4 shot distances has really helped dial in those tricky approaches.

Great video. I have to say, another one of my favorite golf tip videos was the one where you explained when your feet is higher than the ball, vice versa or uphill/downhill lies and how the ball reacts differently depending on that, and how to adjust accordingly 🏌️♂️🎄🇺🇸 🇬🇧
