This one is for the algorithm. The alien ships mightbe the most aesthetically pleasing ships. From sound design to textures, they are so nice to look at. The Syulen's elevator sound is just so good, and this one's design is great. Can't wait for the new Scynthe and Glaive
Nah man, these are fodder ships to turrets. Have you saw how one turret can take out over 20 of these? The only way to beat that turret was to literally crash the blade into it instead.

I know you mentioned the Yaw, but I think it's worth mentioning that this ship handled at peak performance, has a very different method. Since the YAW is higher than the pitch, and the side thrusters are identical to the up thrust, this is the only ship in the game that does not want to roll and pitch when fighting. It always wants to YAW and keep its enemies to the left or right, rather than above. If you ever get around to the San'tok and Syulen again, since they have symmetrical pitch/yaw, with side thrusters equally or stronger than up thrust, one benefit of them is they don't care about pich or yaw, they can roll towards whichever is closest.
Alien designs are my favorite i really think this one should also be able to do a reverse missile barrage on anyone on your tail after looking at the spine of the ship it makes sense to me or be able to cut through smaller ships with them wings.
I'm a fan of the Tevarin ships (and the Tevarin themselves), the Talon in particular. I hope they expand on them and make Tevarin warships that can compete with the Perseus, Polaris, and Idris.
I can understand the low health pool. The ship is fast, highly manoeuvrable and small. If you do manage to hit the little bugger you deserve to be rewarded. It's a great ship but just a bit too pricey imo. I would pay the same as a Hornet but not what they're asking in store.
I own huge ships (mostly Jpegs) like the Javelin, Idiris, BMM, Odyssey, and more... but this is still one of the prides of my fleet... along with the Glave and Defender.. love alien ships
Did they reclass the wasps? I thought they were cannons not repeaters. Also, the ARROW 1, BULLET 2, CHAOS 3, AND RAPTOR 4 are all vanduul missiles if you read the descriptions.
Love this vid and love this ship but it's definitely an in-game purchase for the price Vs function. I have the Railen and BMM as my alien ships in the fleet but looks forward to alien mining, salvage, transport and data runners!
The blade is nice to fly. But it is purely a anti fighter craft. The glaive or scythe are for big ships. I'll be interested in what CIG does with these.

There something alluring about having a ship that is your enemy's main fighter. Just like Soviet MiG-21, it has some level of attraction i would say.

So, I have a CCU chain to the Blade. I just have not gotten around to "putting it together" I love how much it looks like a Cylon Raider.

Love how it looks but you don't get much past that sadly.
Not to interested in this ship to be honest. I think the design is cool and has a wow factor but the cockpit seems a little too clutered to me.
