Thanks Matt. My Dad was in the Royal Navy during WWII during which he spent time around the Indian Ocean.
In the mid 70s - early 80s I was heavily into sports and lifting weights. Dad tried getting me into Indian clubs then, but I was too 'smart'! 🙄
Decades later, he has passed and I have bilateral shoulder tightness and an impingement on one side.
Remembering what he said then and what you are teaching here, it looks like these clubs and the rotational movements are exactly what I need.
    Next stop, Amazon!
    All the best.

Thank you. I’m not a doctor, but I have gotten a lot of relief from them!!

Great presentation! Thank you for a new and fun thing to do! I'm just discovering your videos - trying to overcome a pinched spinal nerve at C5 (or a statin side-effect depending on which Doctor's opinion), both shoulders feel like tendons failed - but hands are also weak and crampy. These may help. Tendons have very slowly improved since stopping statins 7 months ago. I swim also.
My left hand balks at the counter-rotating overhand swing - I'm holding there until I get it smooth - what a challenge!

I think Matt's course here will be great, perfect for your shoulders and help grip strength.
For your back, I strongly suggest getting a pull up bar or frame, and do dead hangs. There are plenty of vids on YT for guidance how. Doing that 3x pw for 6 months will transform your back. It will massively improve grip strength too and help open up tight shoulders.
      Best of luck 👍

This is the best Indian club exercise video I’ve found. I believe every word. And you make me believe that I can be as effortless as you are here: meaning natural. I’ve got a set and honestly. I love the rhythm and the flow and the fullness in my lungs. So glad I came upon this. I’m
Going to use my clubs tomorrow while using my vibration plate.

Thank you. I think the vibration plate is an excellent idea. Let me know how it goes!

I’ve got two pound clubs I’ve been using for a while but I’d like to be able to use them
Longer so I think I’ll get a 1 lb set.

I think this is the best routine I've seen. Plus the explanation of the moves you're doing.

Matt, I've been following your Indian Club workouts since the Spring of 2020. This video is my favorite one so far. I liked the diversity of it. I used the same 2# clubs that you have. Great video. Thanks!

Hi Matt, sorry i missed class. I am getting things ready to have new wood flooring installed in my duplex on weds. I will try to watch for the other classes today. Also, our utilities company will have our neighborhood power off for repairs from approx,1200 to 1500 hrs. Thanks, Doug.

I MUST get you visibility among classical musicians: your exercises really address a lot of complaints, from my instrument (oboe and family) in particular.
QUESTION: your clubs don't see much shorter than T-ball bats ... do you see any problem with a slightly longer "stick"?

Thank you Robin. The length shouldn’t matter too much. Go for it and let me know how it works.
