I have to order me a pair of Indian Club from Origin USA. Watching videos like this is new to me but very addictive early. Peace and love from East Harlem NYC...
So glad I remembered to look up coach Vaughn cuz I ordered some 2 lb clubs for my supraspinatus injury as part of my rehab and I should be getting them this coming week so perfect timing
Thanks Robert, I'll be sure put more indian videos soon. I do have a whole ebook with indian & steel clubs for all experience levels if you want more tutorials with them here: www.coachvaughn.net/programs/gada-club-guide-for-indian-steel-club-strength-training
Hey, thanks for that video it's clear and straight to the point. I have a recurring deep pain in the left shoulder that is triggered by movement like shoveling and using a sledge hammer and persist several weeks, I have no injuries showing on x-rays or echo... I think that this drill can help strengthen my shoulder but I couldn't find clubs in my region ( northern France). Do you think a hammer can do the job ?( I have several frome less thant 1 lbs to 2lbs )
I have to say this is the first time I have heard of Indian Clubs, my physiotherapist recommended them and im just checking them , Im going to get pair they look like they are good for warm ups
They will definitely help rehab wise. If you would like more info on them I got articles and e-books on them linked here: www.coachvaughn.net/blog/2019/1/31/beginner-guide-for-indian-clubs
Hey Coach, thanks for the video. Question about sizing... I'm a 6'2" 175 male and I'm strong. The 1 lbs clubs just feel too light and they don't generate enough momentum for me. 2 lb feel much better. Do you find that this is common?
Thanks Mark, There’s a lot good selections on amazon. It’s depends though on your budget if you want wood or polyearthane Indian clubs. The wood one are more expensive, but are worth it to me grip and feel wise. I love the ones I’m using in this video - you get the same ones here: www.amazon.com/Bodykore-Rotational-Clubs-Beautiful-Exercises/dp/B07419FQ5H/ref=asc_df_B07419FQ5H/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310249230164&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14658111428125073969&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1013962&hvtargid=pla-430429828702&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=59843340857&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=310249230164&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14658111428125073969&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1013962&hvtargid=pla-430429828702
@@CoachVikingVaughn what do you know I ordered some on Amazon and I just now left a comment about your video with perfect timing cuz I bought some they're coming probably either Monday Tuesday or Wednesday of this week and it's for my supraspinatus injury rehab
It's more so about the comfort. These are specially designed to feel comfortable in the hand, while being balanced a specific way to do these swings. You can use a different piece of equipment and get similar results, but the "feel" won't be exactly the same. Nor the muscle groups that you are training. It's all about preferences really.

I'm constitutionally resistant for paying $70-100 for narrow neck bowling pins, so I got myself over to Harbor Freight and picked up a pair each if their 1 1/2, 3, and 4 pound deadblow hammers. A wee tacky looking with the orange plastic, but all together, on sale, didn't exceed $60.
I have no idea why he calls steel clubs...Indian clubs? One is steel (heavy)...the other Is wood (light). They’re not the same thing lol I never recommend doing these mill drills with steel clubs because they’re destroy your elbow tendons from being overloaded.
Part 2 video is up for more: ruclips.net/video/mdM8Jrpwbhw/видео.html&lc=UgwSf8Ucdf--cDVUrKF4AaABAg
Awesome video, you break down the movements very well. Just what I needed, thank-you.

Yes, 2lb clubs works better for stronger males. I personally have 3lb indian clubs now
@@CoachVikingVaughn Any opinion on these? More specifically the wide grip ones.
“Wide grip” Indian clubs? Have never heard of those.
Is 3 lbs ok?
Yes, I use 3lb Indian clubs personally

Are these unnecessary if you already have steel clubs
Steel clubs are NOT Indian clubs. I have a video here explaining the differences between the two: m.ruclips.net/video/JIkNXrrGKnQ/видео.html

@@eztvlight1202 Yup, but more specifically, I'm using a single four pounder in European Longsword practice in my low ceiling basement.
I cracked my damn head with the bat. I’m not swinging anything around anymore.
