Love it! Definitely a must have if it is within your budget. Completely transforms the WR250R into a mini Tenere. Sure it’s not as fast as the T7, but it’s a hell of a lot lighter and every bit as capable off road, if not more so. Even with all the mods and bags on my bike I am still cheaper than a stock T7. The expense of this fairing is much more palatable when you look at it from that perspective. I can also attest to the durability of the Lynx R as it can take a punch. If you watch the Tahuya videos you can see where I drop my bike on two different occasions. The fairing took the brunt of the fall and only sustained a few scratches. ruclips.net/video/SlxsivwhRK8/видео.html @ 3:39 ruclips.net/video/dzL_y2vcX6Q/видео.html @ 4:00 Can’t wait for better weather so we can get some more mileage on these WRs.
Thanks for the short review! I watched another video earlier about this fairing and that vid combined with yours has convinced me to purchase one. I want to start taking my WR250R on medium range trips throughout the southwest and I feel that this fairing would be an added benefit.
Nice!! I feel it’s a must have for adv riding and still loving my Lynx R. Btw you can save a little bit of money by getting then non high output lighting as it’s already bright as hell. There should be a link in the description if you wanted to check it out before hand. Happy riding, cheers!
I had to google the ARX fairing as I haven’t seen that one. Tough call both look cool. I am really happy with my Britannia Lynx fairing and the manufacturer offers great service if needed.
I suppose it depends on what you want out of your bike. If its a small adv build, it makes sense. Same with the heated grips. For me, the wr gets mostly trail ridden, and gets dropped alot. Less weight. Less complexity. Less to break. The Lynx fairing is a pricey bit of kit.
Thanks for sharing. I've been riding dual sport bikes for 5 or 6 years and just picked up a 2013 WR250R. I'll probably add some type of wind screen as I have on my other bikes. My question concerns the gearing on your WR. Are you running just the stock front and rear sprockets? I don't think I could get anywhere near 75 mph with the gearing on my WR. The previous owner did a lot of dirt riding and put a 45 tooth rear sprocket on - I think the original was 43 teeth. I plan to do more mixture of roads, logging roads and a little dirt. Sorry, a little of topic, but you looked like you had some good speed on the freeway and was wondering about that.
Hey there! I have a 14 tooth in the front and a 48 in the rear. Here’s a walk through of my bike if you wanted to check it out ruclips.net/video/mk877Qv9kfQ/видео.html
Have you taken the bike onto tighter trails with this fairing? Any view obstruction or downsides with this fairing while riding off-road? How sturdy is the fairing, wondering if it will survive light crashes on the trail. Definitely like the idea of reducing wind blast against the chest on the highway. That really beats me up and sucks the fun when riding on road.
I have and haven’t noticed any difference in any obstruction. Sturdiness seems to be pretty decent my buddy Adam has dropped his bike plenty of times and hasn’t cracked it yet. On Reddit I had someone comment on a post of mine that it didn’t hold well for their friend in a crash but I feel like When someone says crash it’s gonna be more of a hit and have other damages elsewhere on the bike 🤷♂️. I am super happy with mine and glad I did it. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive but I plan on keep my bike for a long time so I can justify the cost.
Does the wind flex and vibrate the fairing? How stable is it? Is the headlight adjustable? I've read some reviews where they said the fairing and headlight vibrates to much.
@@joelwallisadv nvm, I watched your video of the Lynx install and see how you did it. I've used my WR primarily as a dirt bike up to this point and was considering selling it for an adv bike. Your videos have convinced me to mod my WR to make it an adv bike instead. It's such an amazing an capable bike!

Great review man, I’m stuck between this fairing and the rally fairing from ARX
I had to google the ARX fairing as I haven’t seen that one. Tough call both look cool. I am really happy with my Britannia Lynx fairing and the manufacturer offers great service if needed.
@@joelwallisadv yeah that’s always a plus man. Both have their pros and cons for sure
@@theSkavenger84I’m stuck on the same choice! Looking at the new gen4 rally from ARX
@@theSkavenger84one big thing swaying me to the ARX is that it’s frame mounted

I don’t notice any vibrations. It’s pretty solid. The lights are adjustable.
