- Revisited 4 years later to one of my favorite historic locations in New York. Wyndclyffe castle located in Rhinebeck New York, still sits untouched since the 1950s. In the 4 years since my last visit, there is a lot more damage that has occurred. It's only a matter of time before there is nothing left of this amazing structure.

Interesting. Your flights always prompt me to search for more background/history. Got a kick out of the 'keeping up with the Joneses' angle, mentioned in the Wiki article. Thanks for documenting historic structures before they're gone... It's a shame they now represent the 'riches to rags' portion of their existence. 😢

I would love to know the whole story on this. Beautiful work as always! Just read the history online. I wish, somehow it could be saved. However in this day and age history doesn’t matter anymore.

This is simply a relic/ ruins of yester years... Would like to know the full history of this building... Its a pity nothing lasts forever!!!! Everything is vanity... I have gone through many many abandoned homes worldwide...It shows me that no matter what we build or cherish in life one day it would all come to nothing...
