- Kris Keefer and Michael Allen test out the 2024 KTM 350 SX-F and highlight why less power than a 450 can sometimes be a good thing. Hear them explain the power delivery of a 350, how less weight with less power can actually still have a similar feeling to that of a 450, and what key changes KTM has made in developing the 350 over the last several years to bring it to where it is today.

I had a '22 350 and did the 6500 fork inserts (revalved of course). It's a phenomenal upgrade. Just as good as my KYB inserts I had on another bike.
Picked up the 2023 KTM 350 xc-f. Thing is awesome, my cousin has a 450 sx-f and he loves my bike, has barely any engine breaking, almost 2 stroke like. But such a calm easy bike to ride
I'm impressed that Keefer is still ripping at 47..
Love your channel and was listening to your podcast today too! Great content man!!!
Bring on the garage build 🤙
id like to see keefer compare new husky 350 with ktm. i know they are similar but this guy knows his shit.
I know the WP spring conversion is the most logical and maybe the most affordable solution. But would you consider trying the MX Tech inserts?
Yes. I have them and they're way nice. If i was to buy this bike i would would purchase them again.
so...I know Keefer's gonna choose the 350 SX-F, but I'd like to hear him compare it to the 300 SX. I know the 2T is 4T-like. just curious for a head to head.
Listen to his podcast. He compares them on two different episodes. Maybe a little bit out of date now but they’ve done it within the past year.
LOVE THE PURPLE!
I do too. One of the better looking ktm in years
Love my 23 more then any bike I’ve ever owned I bought the XC and that 6th gear really really makes a difference
my big question would be, how do you like the new engine and chassi vs the 2019-22 models 350s? im still debating about going from my 20 350 to the 24
I had a 21 350 and loved it. Bought a 23 and love it even more. Engine has more torque and still revs out well.
@@leatherman3101 thanks for your feedback mate !
@@santanikx9 Same as the guy above. The '23 + bikes have better engines. Its an upgrade. Do it, if you can afford it.
First time I've ever heard som1 wingin about odi grips ther best thing since sliced bread
I have a 350. Josh Mosiman rode this at the 2024 Fox national. After the race, he said he is choosing the KTM 450-sxf factory edition, for Hangtown. He thought it would be better than a 450.
I know they are pretty much the same for the most part, but a 350 shootout would be kind of cool to see.
Blue accents would have fit better. Very thorough review, Keefer knows all. And agree with xing the lock-on grips.
Have a 350 xcf debating going to a 450xcf. I'm a bigger guy 250lb but race hare scrambles in michigan so don't know if the 450 would be too much for that. I tried it one year on a 16.5 sxf factory and thought it was too much. What do you think
Hi keefer, will six days exporer spring forks and its tripple clamp fit the 2024 you have there, 2016 sixdays, was thinking of swapping over ???cheers, vet rider
Purple is 🔥
I like the 90's purple. A purple guts seat would look great. I can't stand the home depot orange
First thing I said at start of video, that hit of purple on the shrouds is nice... Have to agree to disagree with Keefer
That purple design is some kind of an anniversary-thingy, because this year, exactly 30 years ago, KTM went from the previous turquoise-white to purple-white. I think in 96 or 97 they finally went for orange (well: initially it was more dark-yellow). That bit of purple in the design is most probably to remind people of that design from 93'.
Kris should actually know that: he's old enough to remember (isn't he 57 or so..?! ;)))) ).
Yeah everybody supposedly a big fan of the 350 but nobody seems to race them. I don't see many of them here. Lots of guys running detuned 450's and 250s though. I'm not even wringing out my 250 so might as well stay on the 250.
I keep hearing that if you just add a muffler it will run too lean. Any idea if dealers have a map update that fixes the lean condition?
Did they. Fixed the broken frames every year problem or not yet??
How long does fuel last?
Looks fun
Keefer looks fast on the 350.
riding a bike is like riding a bike. You never forget how to ride.
Graphics look crap for a ktm
i bet when you get a 350 you get a free case of bud light
Nooooooooooooo. Bud Light.
450 short-shifters ride Harley's by day.
