Soft suspension? Not on my '22, the springs are good for a 220lb rider.
Power valve adjustment on the Beta is a big factor. Back it all the way out and even remove the inner spring to get max power asap. Smooths any hit.
The Beta is a closet off roader with 2.5 gal. tank and a 6 spd and the ability to power lights.

Beta needs to take a page out of the YZ playbook with the KYB suspension. I’ve owned KTM and Husqvarna, in addition to all the traditional Japanese bikes. I have to spend thousands of dollars on the KTM air forks just to get them within spitting distance of a stock YZ KYB suspension platform. Put a Lectron carb in the Beta and that resolves the annoyance of adjusting needles and jets all the time. That being said, I absolutely love the new KTM 300SX platform with the TBI. I just wish to the good lord they’d ditch the air suspension.

@@michele1342000 What "real world" are you talking about? Based on what reasoning? That you cant handle one yourself? lol Well why dont we make 4 strokes 300cc too then. Presumably you cant handle those either. People didnt complain about 500cc 2-strokes when they were making them (...complaints didnt start happening until recently when testosterone levels started declining - might wanna get yourr levels checked) 😂
