  • There are some conditions Social Security approves for disability based on the diagnosis alone, not work related limitations. I go over them in this video.
Link to TERI conditions (adult and child conditions are not separated, but includes many severe illnesses of newborn and young children that quality for disability, all of them relatively rare): www.ssa.gov/compassionateallo...

Doc, appreciate the video content. Are you familiar with the diagnosis of Trigeminal Neuralgia? I have had it since 2005 and am now to the point where no medication is working. Surgery is a crap shoot and the outcomes are not good. I have about 20 months until I can earn a full retirement, but it is getting difficult on some days to even talk due to pain that can be incapacitating at times. Appreciate your insight.

  • @truthhurtz2793

I wonder if chronic gout pain would qualify?

if anyones had a kidney stone before and know how limiting it is, I have them nearly never day with cystinuria. Will passing lots of large, painful (excruciating) daily or nearly daily qualify? In nearly constant pain sitting, standing, lying down and in few hour long gaps when im not im in fear of pain and passing more debris.

Does being a paraplegic qualify you?

What About CVID ? Common Variable Immune Diseases?

  • @jetlaggedchef6806

Re: the kidney transplant... I was born with only one kidney. If I'm waiting for a transplant because the only kidney I have is failing, wouldn't that qualify?
