Lack of oil changes sure does destroy a engine. I only run 4K miles with synthetic oil. Just if you use Wix gold filters , make sure they’re clean inside.. I have been getting a lot with bits of silicon pieces around the top of the filter

The Mark VIII Engine is better than the Aviator Engine which is known for issues with the timing chain. The Mark's timing chain can fail but it's usually with lack of oil changes but they aren't as badly known as that aviator engine is.
On a 5.4 2v at 100k it is barely broken in, my 06 e350 has 220k+ and runs like a top but had to be replaced due to severe rusting of the body my van has had many extended oil changes. Many of these have been known to run 3 to 400k. Getting old is frustrating my 94 Mark 8 has a relatively simple problem but I’ve been unable to find someone to work on it (east of Tulsa) because it’s too old not OBD 2, the car is in excellent condition
I absolutely love my 2002 E350 extended cargo van with it's 5.4 2v. It has 220k miles, bought it at 197k in 2008 and daily drive it and keeping it forever.

You have to wiggle through and do what your hears says, but be honest and think ( would you watch this ) thats hard part... You have to give your viewers a service ( tictok ) is great way to gain traction... I never use that app give it short with some( youtube shorts )
@bstfordchannel923 YES I have a Tic Toc. I use it that way. I am mostly making videos for my grandkids to see and follow and maybe get into motorspirts and muscle cars. People just started following because of it. Not really trying to make it big on RUclips. If it does cool deal. It's alot of work which I don't mind. But my priority is my grandkids understanding what I am telling them. And so far it's working. Even my grand daughter is into it. She wants to learn as well. ( proud grandpa right here ) lol.

My brother made a video of our mother about a year before she did and he had came home and uploaded it to RUclips. He doesn't know why and now he wished it had been longer than 50 seconds. Anytime I want I can pull it up and see her. I won't always be here but they can pull up my videos and see me. So that's why I do it. The Summit banner in the background, Summit gave it to me. The guy said he believed in what I was doing and it was free advertising so they gave it to me. I thought that was cool.

hey brother New edge... well the 2v has better cooling... the 4v has that two cooling pipes ( in the front ) left and right...Now on the left side it goes straight through... Thright side has to make a turn back cause the coolant doesnt flow through the head ( from the back ) ... I may show why this is on the next video...

@@bstfordchannel923just dropped off marauder heads at machine shop. Replacing all exhaust seats and he recommended some kind of bronze valve guides. Said he’s seen the factory exhaust guides break on some boosted engines.

You do have a point... The Marauder he bought was for 1,500 ( cause i know a guy that was going to buy it ) So I feel the Marauder was sick already and it had more weight and a tune... Many Marauders have head issue ( silently ) most are not tuned. So it was a unfair deal , but cool to watch... Lets say turbo to turbo the 4v will win ( by design ) 2v is a better motor
