Back when I first heard the movie get popular again on the internet, I feel it was mostly during the time superhero stuff had a resurgence with the release of invincible and the boys which got people talking about this take on the genre as it had similar satire. I feel it mostly got credit for predicting the Incel mentality with the main villain titan before it became a topic of discussion.
I’m one of those people who really loved this movie, 9/10. And by watching this review I think I figured out some of the flaws it has. It’s like what Doug said, maybe if Titan abducted Megamind, and Roxane hears about that and goes to Minion to get his help, and when Titan throws Megamind into the air Metro Man comes back at the last minute and stops Titan. I feel like this movie would at least be a 9.5/10 if it did that.

😲😲😃😃😃😆😆😆Yes! Thank you! I thought I was the only one! I'm so sick of the walking baby corn wearing goggles, and I still can't forgive what DreamworksTv has done to Megamind with that sh-tty pilot movie and TV series.
Superhero satires have been done way better in other things, but this one is alright for what it is

even though The Incredibles is a Great animated Superhero movie
to think it's ironic they've made a terrible Megamind Straight-to-Streaming movie that Everybody forgot about
You should see the How to train your dragon: nine realms show that came before it. Kicked most of the lore out the window in favor of inconsistent development and annoying characters.
It's a glorified pilot episode, not a movie.
Of course the guy who wrote a rape scene in To Boldly Flee and thought it was the absolute height of comedy doesn't get the impact of a movie where the main twist villain turns out to be an incel.
