So a simple idea has been taken one step further from a Kiwi engineered idea to an Aussie.
Saw something like this at a Tangi down Te Kuiti ways in 2012.
The guy that put it together told me he had been using it at Tangi for a long time, plus they used it for their Christmas break ups.
I could sure use 2 of these around my place alone as the price to buy all would be far cheaper then to hire a plumber to set something permeate up I'm sure.
The little waterpump system is a bonus that one could not do without if out camping of the grid.
I will share this add here in NZ as this will be a hot sale in time to come I'm sure of that.

How has no one addressed water filtration?...My use case for this is to mount it to my pontoon boat for when my family and I camp on it. The two main things we will be using this for is to wash the "lake water" off of us at the end of the day, and then also use it to wash dishes. Between contaminants like gas, oil and who knows what else coming from other boats in the water, and the warm water itself that grows all sorts of bacteria here in Arizona, I'm not going to shower or do my dishes with it.
My question is, do you have a filter system that can easily hook up with a stronger pump that can handle the extra resistance that the filter(s) will produce? If not, can you recommend one? - Thanks.

Great products but I’m hearing feedback that it’s taking customers 2-3 Months to get there orders. Is this correct? That’s not Aus Post delays
Hi Alek! Delivery/receiving orders will have delays as our couriers have segregated shifts and restrictions. In normal operations, delivery is roughly 3-5 business days but due to restrictions, it'll take longer than usual but surely not 2-3 months.

Hey there! Yes! You can HOTTAP without heating! Just disconnect the gas hose and remove the batteries so it doesn't try to ignite. 🙂
In this video you say that to use the water pump you can use the cigarette light or the battery .. I looked on your site and I couldn't find the battery anywhere and without the battery I'm not interested.. where can I get one?

If there was an option to power it with electricity instead of gas/propane, and to hook up to bathtub spout then I would love to get one for when my tenants' hot water heaters die to remove downtime for them while I'm getting them replaced.

The market has been like this for over 4 years. It will not develop in as that would become a threat to the gas and electricity companies profits from charging us for our hot water system.

Hello, how is water drainage carried out ? do we have a floor carpet type tray that squeezes water through a pipe ?
Hello! The tent has mesh edges on the floor to drain out the water. It doesn't have a tray to capture the wastewater.

The battery pack is a prototype and is not available for sale yet. We still don't have an ETA for its release, but we will update the accessories page on our website when it becomes available for purchase.
Yes, you can use your DeWalt battery. The pump draws around 5 amps (60 watts) at startup and then the continuous draw is sitting at around 3-3.5amp (40-45 watts), so it's not very high.
Can it be used for inside shower on a van/rv ? If so , does it need ventilation ?

Yes, you'll need to have your own pump if you plan to use your HOTTAP off-grid. If you are keen, you can also check out our Outing kit, which comes with a pump included. If you plan to use the HOTTAP in your backyard, you can order the Essentials kit and connect it straight to your garden hose. Hope this helps!
Could a standard disposable propane cannister work with the propane connector?
Yea the canister will work but you need to use another gas hose: www.joolca.com.au/products/lightweight-gas-hose

You havent showed us how you hook up up to your tap for the water intake
Hi, Abbas! You can bypass the external water pump if you'll be connecting to mains pressure. We don't include a tap/faucet adapter in our kits so you'll need to purchase an adapter kit that will convert your tap to a quickconnect allowing you to use the supplied hoses in our kits. A faucet adapter is widely available at your local hardware store.
If you'll be getting the Essentials Kit, this won't include the cold water hose since it doesn't come with a pump so you have two options if you're in the US. Can the pipes fit on steel taps and shower heads?
Yup! You can also use a steel tap and showerhead for the HOTTAP. The fittings are standard 1/2" ones so just make sure that the connections are compatible. :)
Imagine a world where your gas inlet always gets blocked, imagine water leaking out the pipes and the taps not tuning off the pump, well you can stop imagining, because that world is this world…..

Does it need power?
Hi Chris! The HOTTAP unit itself uses two single D cell batteries to power on the internals and the LED display monitor. The external water pump that comes in our Outing and Nomad kits has to be plugged into a 12V power source via the supplied 5m cigarette lighter socket cord.

Entertaining commercial but it’s only a tease because they take your order but never ship… Its been several months and all they do is keep sending excuse emails on how they are shipping their product but never do. If your wanting to buy a shower product keep looking… unless you want excuses instead of an actual product… I can’t believe anyone else hasn’t exposed this product as click bait…
