My Algae eater was getting bullied. She had a lack of food, as the other Algae was eating it. I couldn't move her, as I had nothing large enough. I looked up whatever I could, tried to feed her separately, but she wouldn't eat it.
    Rest In Peace, Leila.

My betta fish has fin rot, I tried to cure the fin rot and when i was putting my fish in quarentine, it hoped out of the tank and dropped onto the floor so i picked it up in a hurry and put it back in the tank and now, its traumatized and idk what to do about it. Im doing this in secret because my dad doesnt wanna cure the fin rot, he says "the fish will die anyway" and now I wish I listened to him.

Question: I have 3 goldfish in a 20 gallon. Yes, I'm aware that is a small tank for 3 common goldfish, but for now, they are 3 years old and normally live in a small pond in the backyard. Every winter I bring them inside before everything begins to freeze over. The largest one is about 6 inches, the other two about 4 inches, and rather suddenly, the two smaller fish have become stressed out. The water quality is fine, I have two hang on back filters and an air stone. I do weekly water changes. They have been fine for the last few weeks and have only recently been acting the way they are. The biggest one can sometimes be agressive, but that is only around feeding time. So, is there any outlier that can explain for the smaller two being stressed and the largest being just fine?

My 2 fish just got moved into a new tank and for the old tank I used to use Filterd water so didn’t need to use chlorine remover. But since this tank is bigger i used the tap water instead. The old water was room temperature and idk if it’s the same. My fish are acting a bit weird. They wanna eat non stop the keep having weird JOLTS where there swimming normally then all of sudden swimming super fast. Should I be worried I mean idk I don’t want them to die. It could be stress especially from the move and the water. But I’m just worried i don’t want to got to sleep tonight.
Edit: I removed my fish from the tank to a fish bowl with filterd water and there doing much better. I’m letting the tank water sit for a few hours.

2 neon tetras and now my 1 neon tetra is stressed and goes in a dark place in my Aquarium and late r

He was a little excited...at least I thought. He got use to him quick. But the second one he looks different from him & the other fish. He didn’t take well to this one. He’s hiding and anti social. He will eat but just seeing he’s not himself. :( maybe do you think if I buy stress coat it would help?

I just added exasperatus cichlids to a 55gallon. I have 18 juveniles, 3 cory catfish (theyre going to be rehomed) and a rubber lip pleco. My problem is the cichlids are showing signs of stress, agitated swimming and hiding/not eating. My water parameters are fine and i have a lot of hiding space. I have oxygen in my tank too. What else could it be? Could it be a possibility that my bubble bar is producing too many bubbles? Is my light too bright?

I heard that when the top fin is low and slicked against its body its a sign of sickness or a lot of stress however all of my fish have a high, raised fin. though mg smaller Comet is staying on the bottom of the tank, literally laying on the gravel. every once and a while she will move around, but she also hasnt been eating. Unfortunately I think 1 was bullied because it was trying to hide and was breathing hard and died.
