Look i work for Indian Navy, and trust me i have seen Tejas personally in Goa. And i can say one thing its the worst fighter i have ever seen, dont go with the stats kids. The aerodynamics of Tejas is so bad that HAL needed to redo and come up with MK2 version of it. The amount of Radar signature may be less , but I give points here to JF 17 as it has got higher and better Avionics. And for my civilian friends, If you think India's Make in India fighter jets are better, well myself being from the defence backscore, im sorry but Make in India products are truly still behind as compared to Chinese counterparts. So guess who will launch a missile first and also r77 doesn't trigger rwr until its about 10km to the target and by thar time its already over and mica and derby has a 30km no escape zone so good luck
33 Tejas are in service and jf 17 are 170 in service. 1 tejas crashed in 2023 and till now 4 jf crashed. JF 17 number is 5 times more than Tejas hence it may have more crashes. Let us see when tejas 170 will be inducted, how many crashes will take place

Look i work for Indian Navy, and trust me i have seen Tejas personally in Goa. And i can say one thing its the worst fighter i have ever seen, dont go with the stats kids. The aerodynamics of Tejas is so bad that HAL needed to redo and come up with MK2 version of it. The amount of Radar signature may be less , but I give points here to JF 17 as it has got higher and better Avionics. And for my civilian friends, If you think India's Make in India fighter jets are better, well myself being from the defence backscore, im sorry but Make in India products are truly still behind as compared to Chinese counterparts. And yeah, Tejas is just any ordinaty fighter nothings special about it. Please dont get carried out by Raw emotions ki Tejas badiyaaaa hain phalana dhimkannna... Ground fact, it isnt.
