Wow marigold hats off to all of you guys getting this done efficiently and on time. TransEd was a complete failure comparing to you guys it’s actually a joke. They completely dropped the ball while you guys picked it up and went for the dunk

Seems like maybe you guys can finish earlier than expected, lots of good work over the winter!

It seems like they're hesitant to give a concrete completion date after the delays the Southeast leg saw. Currently the only completion date is 2027 which is a very long time away. Considering the first tracks are being laid this year, at a very conservative estimate, I think testing will begin toward the end of 2025. Very exciting!

@@riker_i’m really excited. It will be a huge convenience for us who can’t or don’t drive to go to west Edmonton mall from downtown more easily. My home is just nearby to Brewery and it’s exciting to see LRT station right near my home.

Thanks for the update. I know the above grade design was not yours. Above ground downtown will be a complete disaster. Should have modelled it after 1978 below grade LRT or 1863 London design.

This city is 20 years behind schedule, this should have been done long ago, will this one be more than 10 years delayed

I think given the progress, it will finish on time but yeah, its longtime overdue.

Don't forget, Edmonton was losing people and businesses during the nineties. It was a very dark time in this city, and there was no money and no visionary leadership. Since then however, this city has done incredibly well, so maybe let's focus on that.

You, in combination with the COE, are doing an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE job of maintaining driving lanes for people who still use cars. It should not take multiple calls to the COE to ask for the roads to be drivable. If it takes citizens having to call in to get you to pave roads to not resemble a road in a third world country, then it would appear that your team does not understand that roads cannot have massive undulations and jagged bumps that damage tires, wheels, and suspensions when driving even at the reduced speeds of 40km/hr/. LEARN TO DO BETTER.
