I wanted this bike since last year but it was always out of stock 🙂. I ended up with a Honda ace 110cc. Yamaha is really light and seems quite pleasant to ride.
How much is Yamaha crux 110 in Nairobi Kenya as of May 2024 ? And where exactly can i buy it? Will i be able to cut on the cost of commuting? Will it be safe to ride from Roysambu to CBD? Or i should abandon the idea all together?
The bike was discounted if I am not wrong. Mostly from private sellers Yeah it will commute perfectly The idea is super, whether it's a crux or another small bike, you will cut cost and most importantly time
how bad is the vibration percentage wise from footpegs, handlebars and overall stability at that speed. Also how is the quality of the bike compared to TVS and Bajaj at the 150cc section. Yamaha make quality stuff, how about this bike?
virtually none ....it's a japanese bike with flywheel/crankshaft weight balancers hence virtually no vibration despite it being a single cylinder. I haven't ridden the tvs, as for the bajaj 150 very minimal vibarions as well but the handling is nervous especially at high speed.
Boxer is very easy as it has 40cc more than the crux. The crux getting to 85-90 is fairly easy, getting to 100kph is another story unless you find a downhill, the fact that it also has 4 gears is a hindrance too.

Yeah it is, much similar to the ace though
I just bought the Yamaha Crux 110cc, and I’m loving it. What do you think my 110cc top speed is? Thanks nice video btw. Bless. 🙏🏾
It's a nice bike, on a good day without wind in a downhill slope maybe 107 kph
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA thanks bro.

always keeping us entertained
Can this bike be used as a taxi??!.
(...and if yes, compared to Bajaj Boxer 125 HD, which one would you recommend for taxi business??)
I don't have much experience with the boxer 125, but I would go for the boxer. The cruzeiro is good for delivery business
Want this bike so bad, how can I get one. Probably second hand either the old or new model? thanks
They stopped making it ... unless you get it from a private buyer
Are the parts available for the 100 crux old model. Am getting a deal at 60k?. Dont want to buy then lack spares!
Buy the new one instead...
Hi is this a yamaha crux rev b?
yes it is
Is this bike still in production? And where in Nairobi can the spare parts be found?
No, they aren't In production anymore
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA and where can I get the spares man?
I don't know, there was a guy at River Road selling them, I don't know if he is still there
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA cheers bro. Appreciate you!

@@BIKECHANNELKENYA What do you mean nervous handling?
It's not very stable ....it's not planted, I think because the C.O.G is high
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA nah. Like you said it's japanese perfectionism. New Crux even has a catalytic converter
I got a 2013 one, I'm getting it at a deal of 45k.. would you recommend?
Wonderful
How easy/hard is it to get to 100km/hr when compared to boxer 150?

Are spares readily available
Yes at yamaha kenya
hhaha, love your vlogs man
thanks man.
Mine even 90kph is a struggle.
air filter might be clogged or even the spark plug.
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA really I just assumed top speed off a crux is 80kph. Where do you service yours?
I do it myself, it's very easy anyone can do it.
@@BIKECHANNELKENYA when are you doing it next I come watch and learn. I'll buy the oil for us both .... 😉
