Just an FYI for everyone coming here, Supreme has their own video of this install and they put the spacers through the bracket mounts. Nothing about hammering out the bolts or buying longer bolts.
I.called and talked to them. This is the instructions they sent. I re confirmed the specific year of 2018, previous years were possibly different. Also, the parts fit, otherwise it wouldn't have fixed the issue, and have been working without issues for years now.
@@02mp9696 I’m sure they did. I have watched about 4 different videos and it seems that everyone has done it a different way. But there’s literally a video, from the manufacturer where they did it a different way than you did. Lol. Same body style as an 18 also.. so I’m not sure what’s going on except now everyone is more confused than ever.
Ya you be good. So far its all i needed lol. Its all been good. New shocks would be a good thing to change over factory with a level anyway. Im just waiting tell mine blow out lol.
Out of curiosity, what makes the ltz and Z71 different from the rest? Or in my case, different from the high country. Thanks in advance. Beautiful installation btw. 🍻
Great video. Doing this to my 18 LT Z71. That front passenger mount is a real pain. Def the hardest one. Could you send me the instructions you posted at the end of your video. Or put something in the comments section. It’s a little blurry in the video. Not sure what to remove to get to the last front passenger mounting bracket. Thanks again
@@02mp9696 thank you for responding. Happy Easter to you too. The passenger side is def giving me issues. I got the 2 bolts that attach the dif to the mount but how do I go about removing the studs that are pressed in. I thought about trying an air hammer to beat the studs out but I think the rubber mount on the bracket itself would take the vibration and not move the stud? Do I have to remove something else? Or does the bracket have to come out.
@@kerm785 hey, so that mount you just put up against the hitch hole and just hammer it out. I found the box it came in but no instructions, i got them from the site. I confirmed with them it was the correct ones. But specifically to 18" z71 not lt or others
I just looked at supreme suspension video and they show they spacers between the frame and mount with longer bolts than the kit includes. Now I'm confused, WTF.
Oh and that install video is just used for all their spacer drops on the chevy trucks. I looked at trim level specific but that same video kept showing.
@@pauliemoto ya they are the same pic for both. I had same issue. So i called them and e mailed them. The kit has two smaller bolts and two longer bolts.
Wow, alot of people are misinformed, everyone pretty much thinks you are supposed to drop the whole mount. Were the kit is designed to just lower the trans and leave the mount in stock position. I was so confused by alot of video's, thanks for the great video.
No problem, i was confused on the exact same thing. Every video was just back and forth with bolt size, what to drop this that and on and on lol. So took a few days but they sent me the instructions. And thats.the way she went together 👌. Oh no issues since. And wow, just realized this is a 8 month old comment lol
Even Supreme Suspensions install video shows the spacers installed in the wrong spot. Project ADHD here actually has the correct method based on the hardware.
With the diff drop, it is a few degrees back to factory. Maybe ill do a more detailed update tonight or tomorrow on wheel, level, angles, etc. It was my biggest question also.
@@02mp9696 I ask because I'm about to install the eibach pro lift, and can go as high as 3". I have aftermarket uca's. I bought the diff drop spacers. But have yet to do tbe install. I'd be greatly appreciative if you did do a video.

So I just bought this kit...so you didnt have to cut any of the fins on the diff or notch the crossmember?
Nope, its close to the skid plate, but still a space.
If I do a leveling kit with new coilovers and upper control arms and then do this drop I should be good? I think that’s my plan.

im going through cv axles like crazy with my 3inch level. i hope this helps
Thats not good. Well to report back after a few years, my whole suspension is factoy still 👍. Its doing something

Was your kit product number from supreme suspension A6764?
Just looked and it says
part # 274 / 274LZ. Says 07-19, LTZ / Z71 models only. Hope that helps
Is the install the same on a 2020 silverado 1500 z71?
Yes, its the Same process
So this works on 2019-2021 T1 Trucks as well?....I have X31 ( same as z71)
This kit is specially for 17'-18' z71/LTZ .
@@02mp9696 I just wonder how much they changed differential...GM doesn't change much, been trying to find out
@@kirkdunn1379 probably the same. Wouldn't think gm would completely re design it. Wish i could help.

OK thanks I'm gonna call them and see what's up.
How many spacers are needed?
You would need 4
