This is the best spreadsheet channel on RUclips! Although I'm Brazilian and I don't understand English very well, I've never learned as much as I do now.
Thanks for your free tutos. It's could be great to put a sample sometime. Not always easy to follow the tutorial and triying to do the same with the formula.
Thanks for another great tutorial. I was wondering if the list of names can be a reference from a different sheet, or does all the information have to be on the same one? I tried, and cannot get it to work. However, there's a high probability that I am doing something incorrectly, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks!!
Dear friend, I have a question, how do i SUMIF the data of a column, if the condition of the other column is that the text starts with "Jo*" OR "Isa*"... it is correct to use wildcard "*" ?. In your example I want to SUM if the names are JOse OR JOhn.

you have to use sumproduct for this. check videos on this function and you should be fine (the one from Leila Gharani was super helpful to me)
I can't seem to repligcate 1:48 on Google Sheets but it works fine on excel
I managed to solve the issue by simply adding arrayformula( )
:)
Thank you
What is the name of this kind of stuff/formula? "C2:C19=L1:M1".
Some kind of array comparator...
Yes, it's logical test with arrays.
