I mean my hamster takes bigger bites
Dennis Parker 😂😂
It would be hard to talk with a whole piece of chicken in your mouth, lol. 🍗😂
It shows that portion control is the key to looking like her.
This has become one of my favorite dishes!! Thank you.
Made this last night and it came out great! I know alot of people are saying there is not enough seasoning but that's not true at all. Thanks for the good recipe!
My pleasure Kaitlyn!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of my favorite recipes! The flavors are delicious! That roasted garlic is so yummy!
Love your channel!!!! You making cooking clean seem sooooo easy and convenient! Love this!!! My husband and kids are in for some serious good meals!!! Thank you!!!!
Thank you for this. I am collecting all easy no cook recipes for the rest of my pregnancy with two kids and a busy hectic life. :) this lools awesome
I've substituted Grape seed oil recently in a lot of things. It's pretty neutral in flavor, still has all of the good health benefits as Olive oil that I can see and can withstand the higher heat level vs. Olive oil. I even tried deep frying some pork chops (just for curiosity ;) and it worked great! This recipe just looks too easy BTW...gotta try it this week!
My recipe I use lemon and bay leaves instead of vinegar and onion...for a change I will try your recipe Dani -I'll bet it will taste delicious!
Made this on Sunday using chicken thighs. Not a big fan of red wine vinegar so I used extra lemon juice and some thyme. It tasted really good. Will definitely make again.
I just made this recipe today and it came out awesome... I added a bit more seasoning like Lowerys seasoned salt at the end and I used a combination of fresh rosemary and lemon thyme... Definitely going into my repertoire .... Thanks...
+Ruben Silva Great! So happy you enjoyed it :)
I made this for lunch today, it was absolutely PERFECT! All your recipes are amazing and easy to make, thank you so much :)
I am trying this recipe now, and I didnt have whole lemon but i did have some lemon juice that I squeezed last Wednesday. I timed it 50 minutes but I saw some blackened parts, just a luttle.. I think its more on I preheated my oven.. but the smell is really good.. Taste test soon!!! so excited!
Let us know how it turns out!!
Sounds scrumtious. Can't wait to try it.
Hi Dani, I made two of your recipes(one pan roasted chicken and chicken kabob) and both came out so very very very ............. delicious and super easy to make ...Thank U very much!!!!
May God Bless ur family and return your kindness...
Awe, thank you so much. You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed them both :)
I loved this. I am Mexican so we don't cook like this. thank you! I will do it today
what happened to lime and salt on the chicken to cut the rawness before it's properly seasoned...not how we cook in the west Indies.
Raymond Orson true
Yes lawd.. they don't clean them food at all buddy..
I don't believe she is in the West Indies. There is no right or wrong way to cook. Everybody does it differently.
Raymond Orson doubt that
Well, if u tell us more, maybe we cd pick up on it.
i loved this. I am Mexican so we don't cook like this so thank you so much! ima try it today.
I love this recipe, I want to ask you what is the best way to keep your recipes ? that is easy How do you keep yours ?.

Tried it today and it was just amazing - thanks DS.
I'm a cook's nightmare... very picky, but this I would gobble up in a heartbeat!
Looks delicious! Simple to do as well! I will try this next week!
awesome video! definitely trying this this week!
I'm thinking perhaps a salad dressing in place of the vinegar or in addition to it for another layer of flavor! Maybe marinading the chicken in the salad dressing first?
Hello Stan,
So good to hear from you. Recipe sounds great. Will try. Will keep in touch. Think of you both often. Was thinking of you yesterday. Isn't it wonderful how people stay connected.
I do that all of the time Stan. I use Italian dressing to marinate Chicken and it comes out awesome!
This looks delish!!
danny you rock, thanks for the yummy recipes
Gonna try this now
Just made this for dinner last night. It was so delicious and my bf loved it.
What temp was your oven and how long was the chicken roasting for? looks great!

Love ur channel!
Tasty
omg I wish my school lunch can serve these~
Jianwen Chen haha - me too!
Thank you
The chicken doesn't get dry if you put it in the oven uncovered?
do I have to use red wine vinegar? that's one thing I'm missing
Wait, squeeze the lemons first, or just quarter them and place them in the baking dish?
+SleeplessMess i say squeeze the lemon over the dish, just cutting them up and putting them in there like she did wont do anything.
What type of potato is the purple one?
I'm in the process of preparing the ingredients, and suddenly I run out of olive oil. can someone tell me if I can use canola oil?
Love your videos :) You've got a new subscriber!
DANI - Do you use USDA certified organic fed chicken?
I don't think she likes it she only ate a bit of it
Can I use grape seed oil instead of olive?
can u add anything else instead of the red wine
Also you didnt wash your chicken with vinegar or lemon/ lime and water
Could not find this on your website
Don't throw away the rosemary stems... I skewer small cubes of boneless chicken on them and throw them on the grill... So much flavor!
The chicken and potatoes should have been season BEFORE everything went into the dish. The lemon should have been squeezed before putting them in the dish also. There is no way you could have known what that entire dish tasted like from that anorexic tasting you did. Sorry.
There's no difference putting salt/pepper on something before or after it goes into the pan, as long as it gets done before it gets cooked. Your argument sounds like whether you should put peanut butter on the bottom or the top side of the PB and J sandwich. And perhaps you missed where she said this is a dish she's made before, so she already knows what it tastes like. When it comes to the lemon, you could squeeze it on before, or after it's plated. I don't care for lemon on chicken, so I would just leave it out completely, but that's the fun of cooking--you get a basic recipe, and make it your own with different tweaks.
OhioAngel it looks great but if you cook pepper in ANYTHING for too long it loses a lot of it flavor. Put it in at the start, but don't expect to taste it, sprinkle a wee bot of cracked black pepper on afterwards for the taste. And it looks delicious by the way.
Daithi Nolan Anything that I want to have a real peppery flavor, I DO add afterward, but that's very few dishes--for me, personally, this wouldn't be one of those kind of dishes. So I would add it with the salt in the beginning.
Crazy
+Walkerbait610 that was the tiniest bite ever though... funny how you're the only comment I see mentioning it. I love her videos maybe she just wasn't hungry or just brushed her teeth food doesn't taste very good right after brushing.
Alot of haters. I tried this Recipe and I also tweaked it a bit with a little garlic powder and white pepper. I took the gravy and added a bit of butter and cream to it. it was amazing! thanks for the recipe!
SO MANY.....SAD.
That's great
This doesnt need a thing, but I sometimes add chive or thyme if I have it growing. I always have rosemary growing, but I dont have money, so I use drumsticks and I add a few carrots. Anyone who thinks its not seasoned enough make it ahead of time. If thats not enough for ya slather some msg on it and shut the hell up =)
Not disrespecting her recipe but my oven would incinerate that chicken! 450 for 50 minutes!
160F - is where it needs to be to be safe and cooked though. I probably just left it in oven too long when we were shooting:)
I did not cover and the chicken was super moist!
Oh my god Dani, you've saved my day!!
I cooked this recipe for today's dinner (chicken breasts, carrot, sweet potato, garlic, onion) and it turned out terrific! The smell was incredible plus the taste off flavor from apple cider vinegar (replaced red wine).
Can't wait to cook more and post on my blog!
Thanks :))
Great question - I've done a lot of research on this and honestly it all makes me crazy. I'm not a fan of veggie oil and now only keep olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and butter in my house. I feel if you eat a clean diet and not a lot of prepackaged foods with highly damaged oils - cooking with a little oilve oil is just fine. PLus I like the flavor it lends.
So the roasted garlic pieces are squeezed post bake back into chicken dish?
Man I like my chicken REAL seasoned
Well, it's 'to taste', of course. Looks fabulous. I'd add lots of garlic powder, cayenne and sriracha.
Same
Agree. I would season prior to putting the chicken in the pan...
How do you clean those glass baking dishes? No matter how hard I scrub, mine get stained.
Thanks guys - now if only we can get the Food Network on board;)
not enough seasonings
+madreof2 Did you make it? What did you think it was missing? My family an dI LOVE this recipe:)
+Clean & Delicious I usually use salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sage or poultry seasoning and let the chicken marinate in that so the seasonings can penetrate the chicken. I usually spray the chicken with non stick spray so that it will be nice and brown. I also use chicken thighs because they are sweeter than the breast. Just a suggestion. But I do enjoy your clean and delicious recipes!
Celeste i agree that chicken is tooo white and doesn't look tasty as she makes it sounds
I have never seen a purple potato and I'm in shock
Looks beautfiul though does it not?
I have never seen a purple potatoes in my whole life😂😂😂
Hell I'm super super late and I haven't seen one either!
@@Cristiano48239 Very
LMAO 😂
Well I will marinate my chicken v well with my homemade spices then do same procedure what is shown ☺️
At first I thought it was Dani's Pies.
Hey, there's NO ONE WAY to season chicken. Sometimes I do similar to this...and believe me, lemon-rosemary chicken is amazi Works well with lots of black pepper. Other times I use lots of curry...great with Jonny's seasoning, or with coconut milk, ginger n garlic. Sometimes I do Chinese, with 5 spice, garlic, sesame oil, oyster sauce n soy sauce...all extremely delish. If u don't switch it up a bit, maybe u sleep walkin'!.
Made this last night - I did add a spicy rub to the chicken and used Balsamic vinegar - home run!!!! This is so easy and so delicious, and looks great to boot!!! Wonderful recipe!!!
+Pat Leonard So glad you enjoyed it!!
Oh my!!!! honey, that's not how season chicken
agree
That's how she does it
Preheat your oven to 450F while making this.
Thanks for sharing a great looking dish! Finally, my oldest daughter will join us for dinner. (She only eats “clean”). 😋
Up in the air. I need to do more research - i used to use it all the time and then read something (don't remember details) that made me stop.
Made this last night and OMG...was delish!!! Thanks for sharing this one. It’s most certainly going in my regular rotation. YUM 😋
i used this recipe last week and it came out really good. made it for sunday meal prep! thank u!
I made this the other night and it was sooo delicious!!! Will become a regular dinner at our house! It’s so easy! The chicken was super moist and tender!! Thank you for this awesome recipe, Dani!! 🙂
Hi Ma'am!!! Thanks for such a quick and delicious chicken dish.
Just wanted to know if this chicken dish can also be prepared without an oven.
Your early reponse will be highly appreciated.

Why didn't you rinse the chicken after spitting the breast? I always rinse chicken very thoroughly before I do anything else with it! Sounds kinda nasty too me! Bye, won't be back to your "unsanitary" channel!
This is an amazing dish! I've just started to get into cooking (post college) and I impressed my family with this dish! It's SO EASY and DELICIOUS. Thank you thank you thank you. My favorite recipe ever. It's fast, delicious, and FUN. I never thought garlic and onions could be so SWEET! :) Thank you Dani!!!
I know, right?! It's so easy and delicious!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it as much as I do :))
Can you make us some chicken potatos on here? I wish we could upload and download food over the internet :) hehe
Good job on the video! To those who suggest covering during cooking, that would be "baked chicken". Roasting = dry heat. I'm off to the market for a cut-up chicken. Can't wait for dinner.
going to make this tomorrow. can i use a ceramic dutch oven instead? uncovered of course. YUM!!!!!
Your a breath of fresh air
Vincent Donnelly :)
Ok well I had everything and my family LOVES it!! thank you so much for sharing!!!
It's a great recipe I tried it several times my family loved it was so yummy thank you!
I only like the chicken breast. How long would I cook this with just boneless chicken breasts?
Love this great recipe. We are making it now :)
yay!
Y&T Travel
I hope you seasoned it better than she did...lol
Has anyone tried this recipe with some soy sauce? I think it would be wonderful.
Looks pretty. And the purple ones are kinda peppery which is delicious.
Finally, I've searched for over an hour to find an entire, baked, whole, cut up chicken. All but yours exclude the breasts from the dish. I wanted to included them in mine. I also love how you cut the breasts in half, how cleaver. This is what I am making right now. Thanks for this post. P.s. I'm so glad you included the cooking temp. You would be surprised at how many videos I watched where the cook forgets to tell what the temp should be.
super yummy looking im now disabled and am going to try and make this for christmas thanks for such an easy lookin meal to make
This is a staple in my house. I use chicken thighs and double up on potatoes
Made this today for dinner with a few tweaks and it was a major hit! I will make this again. My tweaks were: 1) seasoned the chicken and russet potatoes with garlic, onion, parsley, a little heat, salt free seasoning, and italian seasoning. 2) omitted the salt as we have no salt and salt restricted eaters in the house. 3) had no onions, garlic cloves, or lemon so left them out - not a huge fan of lemon chicken anyway. 4) sprinkled just a smidge of chicken bouillon just for a little flavor. 5) Melted margarine instead of oil or butter (didn't have any) and added apple cider vinegar to it instead of red wine vinegar. Poured it over the chicken and potatoes. 6) Preheated oven to 450 then lowered the temp to 400 and popped dish into the oven for 50mins. Turned chicken and potatoes at the 50 min mark as one side was golden brown then set the timer for another 20 mins. The chicken was moist and tender - and the potatoes were creamy inside and crispy outside. My only regret? I only had russets and not the colorful variety of potatoes you had in the vid. The russets did get super crispy on the outside so next time I will add them in a little later in the cooking process - probably would be better to use red skins or heirlooms. But this was wonderful and flavorful!
I do it just like you but I season my chicken with garlic and herb seasoning squeeze the lemon on to everything once it's assembled. This recipe has become a staple in our house now. My roommates love it and can't get enough of it. AND it's the first ever recipe I've ever done in an oven so thank you very much for this recipe!
