- Ever After High is a fashion doll franchise released by Mattel in July 2013. It was a companion line to the Monster High dolls. However, in this line the characters are based upon characters from fairy tales and fantasy stories instead of monsters.

It actually wasn't there falt because Disney sued them
They had to discontinue it because Disney sued them. It really sucks, because I loved this show and the dolls!! I hope they'll end up coming back, but it most likely wont happen.

I barely ever saw these commercials, but the harmonious "Ever After High~" jingle at the end of the older commercials just give me this feeling that I can't describe. I feel nostalgic for something I never owned.
The soundtrack and intro song is so pretty and nostalgic too. I love it so much and i'm not a fan lul

If they made high schools of fairytale characters and monsters, then maybe they should make a toy line in Mattel called Video game High. The school for the sons and daughters of famous video game characters.

well technically I think(?) i can understand why they’d cancel Monster High since the show was going so bad with its awful reboot.
as for EAH, blame Descendants… as Disney was the one that led to EAH’s cancellation
@@flytothemountains824 I personally don't think that the roobts are awful, and whatever the case is, I while say that descandants is not really or technically the same thing as ever after high. I've seen how they made it clear to be different

Russia seemed to be the place where any remaining ever after high really sold-- the sweet treats line was mostly found there and its seemingly rare

@@peachgirl1366 oh and another thing I noticed : in the episode “ the day ever after “ it turns out that the royals and rebels sit at different lunch tables and I absolutely HATE THAT in fact I hate the royal vs. rebel conflict in general why can’t both sides live and peace and put Legacy Day behind them and why can’t the royals and rebels sit at the same lunch tables at their school cafeteria

i’m 13 and i love it, and i want the dolls. modern society wants us all to grow up so fast, it’s crazy to me when my parents tell me how when they were my age in the early 90’s, they still played with toys and played in the dirt and had fun and it was normal… i brought my rainbow high doll with me to school hoping my friends wouldn’t judge me, but they kept insulting her and laughing at me… it sucks. i’m gonna enjoy being a kid for as long as i can :)

ever after high had a redesign, not a reboot
Why did it even need to be revised? I mean, MH got a reboot because parents complained that it was too frightening and skanky, but EAH has always been the "softer alternative" so it getting a more child-friendly redesign makes no sense to me
@@LemonnNote The plummet of Ever After High was due to the fact that Mattel no longer had as much budget since Disney took away the princesses to give them to Hasbro. And Monster High returned with a second generation for that same reason.
They could have at least leave the original website up for us fans😭

If both if them were not cancelled they would have done it also there were some little hints like when cupid went from monster high to ever after high and one of the grims brothers was in 13 wishes and in boo york boo york astro nova was in phone talking to apple and raven

I’m sorry but the idea behind it is just genius. even if some people think Mattel made EAH after the success of monster high. Having to walk in your parents footsteps to have the happily ever after you were destined with, the concept is just amazing to me

I was born in 2011 so I was too little when they came out. But I remember my older sisters had them, (because they would have been 5 and 7 at the time) So when I was about 6-7 I remember playing with their ever after high dolls. Fast forward 10 years, I’m a doll collector, I collect rainbow high (and I’m slowly growing my monster high g3 collection too) And I absolutely *ADORE* ever after high. Sadly, my mom threw them all away a longgggg time ago. I hope they do reproductions like they did for Bratz and the monster high creeproductions because I really want to have ever after high dolls as well (I really love Kitty and Ginger) I actually remember most of the ones we had though. Holly and poppy, thronecoming briar, Cupid, blondie, apple, Raven, Hunter, Ashlynn, Jillian and Maddie.
These are now discontinued and no longer on Netflix and the website is now the Mattel shop website

I remember when I was little and I wasn’t allowed to play with dolls because my dad said they were “girl toys”! My sister gave me Poppy o’hair and Holly o’hair! Now I’m 11 (almost 12) and I have an omg doll and 3 bratz dolls! I’m happy that monster high I opening up again because I have always wanted a monster high doll and now I can finally play with them! Yay! Poppy and Holly are very special to me because they were my first dolls and I love them a lot!
