I've gone around searching and I can't find non-metal adapters for the gg1000 anywhere. Found a various single piece pair but nothing for 2 piece.

Recently put both of my mudman g shocks on NATOs with the jays and Kay’s kits. BEST thing I’ve done to them. So comfortable!
What size nato did you use? 22mm or 24mm
Maaaaaaaaaaannn!!! I'm really not the biggest fan of G Shocks, but that NATO makes it pop! Never thought I'd be looking at buying a G Shock, but T3 has a way of changing things. Loving The Time Away channel as well, keep it up!
Tried to use one of my nato straps. They don't fit that good through the back protectors. Puts pressure on the adapters' spring bars. 2 peice strap is the only way to go with this watch. I have the gwg-100, but it's the same lug design. Had to put the original band back on until i get a 2 peice canvas strap like this one.
What size strap is required? a 22mm?
Good job. I got to do this to my G Shock
Did the same thing with my GPR B1000. Installed a Ritche NATO. Keeps the watch back off the wrist where sweat builds up.

Fair warning to anyone planning on buying these adapters now, they do not work with the OEM wings anymore.
According to Jays and Kays, the adapters are now 24mm and have been redesigned.
When I questioned them about this they got very defensive and blocked me on Ebay, very impish.

I made a different Ebay account and decided to try these new adaptors out.
I was very sceptical at first, but not having the wing backs on makes the watch much more comfortable, and it doesn't keep pulling my wrist hairs.
The adaptors are very durable, and it actually strengthens the watch quite a lot.

Thanks for the tutorial. I just got this watch on Dec 3rd... Picked up a Barton sail cloth strap in khaki tan to match the watchface. The difference is night and day... Feels so good on the wrist now! No more annoying metal keeper either! Jay's & Kay's are on all my G-Shocks

Look out for those tiny plastic washers. One of mine pinged off the allen screw and is lost in the abyss. Tbh I cant see how theyre an essential part of the back buckle-protector mechinical-wise. But its just frustrating to be missing a piece like that. So I've just left the other 3 off and put them in a tiny container, for the sake of symmetry and consistency.
This was the first thing I did with my Mudmaster and my Rangeman. So much better than the resin straps.
That looks great, will also be interesting on a bracelet with those adaptors

I don't have a problem with the resin strap, but I like the strap you put on. I would like to see a black, or green canvas strap. Before I bought my GWG 1000-1A3 JD, I studied a long time, checked the differences between MIJ, MIT, and MIC, and settled on the Japanese made !A3 because only the most experienced masters assemble the Master of G, sapphire crystal, and the pinnacle of perfection. It cost $300 more, had Japanese, only instruction book, and the warrantee only valid in Japan, but it's PERFECT. Don't fix it, if it ain't broke. Where I live we don't receive the atomic clock signal, so, once a week I log onto an atomic clock emulator on my phone, and sets my watch in about 2 minutes. After about a year of looking, the GWG 1000 had it all, and the others were lesser versions, or unnecessarily dressed up copies of the best. Every time Cassio puts out a new model, I look down at my wrist, and smile.

When I first saw this, I wondered how rubber/resin could cause irritation. I recently got a gshock and I’m changing out the strap here soon.
I've enjoyed nicer watches since my father got me a fossil watch 16 years ago. That was the beginning. I work in a prison and i have passed that love to many guys i work with. I wear a reactor titan now. We do lots of training and the environment is just naturally tough on equipment. Hope you get one to review soon because I've graduated to this as my daily watch.

I recently bought these and they're amazing.
I work as a labor and have been wearing a gwg 1000 for about a month this last week or so i noticed it has been so uncontrollable I had to losen the strap and it feels a bit better might swapped out the bands!
I like the look, I’ll do the same to my gwg1000 , not that I don’t like the olive green strap, it’s one of the reasons I purchased it with this color scheme but I’m sort of between holes if I can explain myself, I have a 6.75 wrist and somehow the strap is either too loose or too tight unlike my ggb100 where the original strap fits dead on, go figure, anyways you just gave me the solution, thanks for the heads up...

Check out the GA 2000 carbon core guard G-shocks. They have "normal" straps with regular spring bars.

I'm guessing the Jays and Kays adapter set has the proper sized pins or something? I guess I made a noob mistake for purchasing a 4-pack of single-strap NATO straps online for $20. Their okay, but don't have the rugged canvas look like the one in this video. They also came with two spring pins, which I guess are generally standard watch size, but they go right through the large screw-holes on the GWG-1000 (pardon the terminology...I guess I'M the "screw-hole" lol).

Who can I become the Strap Adapter for Canvas strap for my Casio GWG 1000 Mudmaster ?
Rather than using the springbar tool to remove the rods, you can use a short nose pliers to pull it out. It's safer and probably a lot easier.
Where can I get the kit in UK?
I don't get why Casio is so dead set on using proprietary lugs? I would be more interested in a G-Shock if I didn't need an adapter to put on a NATO strap.

Will the G-Shock's strap adapter fit a resin Seiko diver's watch strap?
I could only find the normal rubber adapters. Still love them though, put them on my g shock
The back protectors are less for protection and more for making the watch sit better on the wrist by filling in the gaps the strap would cause.
Anyone got a spare resin strap for sale mine broke ( thought I'd try my luck on this post about swapping straps )
