    The new FISHER BLADES BECKWITH COVERT is a discreet pocket carried fixed blade optimized for self-defense and blade combatives. The wickedly sharp AEB-L American-style tanto blade offers two straight and distinct cutting edges, and where they meet, a secondary point perfect for a slash, pressure cut, or draw cut. The G10 handle starts with a finger guard and ends with a quillioned pommel for sureness of deployment and thumb engagement. Despite the handle's palm swell, the ergonomics remain neutral and comfortable in standard and reverse grips, whether the edge is in or out. The sheath, is also great and optimized for in-pocket carry and draw. The FISHER BLADES BECKWITH COVERT is a little badass, and though it was bred to be so, it also works great for everyday tasks.

    I would buy that blade if I didn't already reserve that spot for the most killer of all blades ever thunk up, NoVa2. I can't wait to get mine. #42 please King Junkie.

      @fisherblades 3 месяца назад

      That NoVa2 looks fairly killer, but the Beckwith/Covert - if not killier - is damn killer too!

    i imagine the knife design works, just wonder how well it does in reverse grip edge in. i always look for knives that work in forward grip edge out as well as reverse edge in, forward edge in obviously works with this one.
    the sheath seems like a
    good idea, but these days i prefer a static cord iwb carry. also i'd prefer to be able to a) put it iwb and b) switch the clip around.
    good choice with a dcc clip over the usual ulticlip (i hate ulticlips).
    oh and i dont get why people put sharpening choils on knives that are meant for self defense. i already get hung up on those just cutting cardboard, that does not try to kill me. i dont want to get hung up in a backpack strap or leather jacket or something during an altercation.

      I don't care for the sheath either and I hate choils. It always gets hung up on cloth (which is what we wear 😁) I just have to deal with it. Almost every knife on the planet has one now. 👊

    Can Fisher please come out with a tactical knife that is fully serrated in a folder/flipper with the aluminum scales and the blade needs to be a minimum of 4 inches long in length. The only one I have ever found was a cold steel and that one only had plastic handles, but there are some of us out there that like these styles of knives and are dying for somebody to fill this void. They normally run around 80 bucks so this is something that could be beneficial for both parties. Thank you.

      Having done clothed-carcass testing with serrated blades, we can say with confidence that serrated blades for true tactical application are a bad idea. LOTS of snagging on skin, clothing, etc. Sub-optimal!

    To whom it may concern: 'New York City law prohibits carrying a knife that can be seen in public, including wearing a knife outside of your clothing.
    This applies to all knives, even if the blade is not exposed.
    When any portion of the knife is visible, such as "the clip, hinge or top", this is considered in public view.'

    Certainly it will cut and thrust well enough for a blade this size, but have some reservations about the $300 price point in AEB-L. Mega marketing campaigns are expensive, I suppose...😅🗡️👊

      @@user-wd4ge2zh2c You really seem to have a lot of anger. If you don't want to buy it, fine - keep buying China-made knives for $25 or $100 or whatever. That's just not our game though. You don't have to like it. Thanks for all your thoughts and attention though!

    • @user-wd4ge2zh2c
      @user-wd4ge2zh2c 3 месяца назад

      Anger? Where would you get such a notion from. You're projecting that on my comment to deflect attention away from the fact that you can not explain why the knife costs so much. The fact of the matter is that it is an average knife that you are positioning as a premium product. Unfortunately for your consumers, the knife provides no value over what we would get from any of the dozens of small fixed blades that are available at prices ranging from $75.00 - say $180.00. You are asking people to pay an extra $120 - $225.00 bucks for zero added value over those less expensive knives.

    @user-wd4ge2zh2c 3 месяца назад

    Definitely not worth 300 dollars. Fisher knives cant even tell potential customers why it is so expensive. The only thing you're getting for the extra 225 dollars with this knife over a knife like the Demko Armiger or the extra 180 or so over the Tops SAW 02 is ripped off. It is an average knife, an average design made from average materials being marketed as a premium product.

      @@fisherbladesOK, then what are you getting for the extra cost versus the knives I mentioned above or for the extra 120 dollars versus a guardian 3? What do I get for the extra money beyond the privilege of paying more for American made.

    Anything under 3.5 inches is too small. I will wait until the blade is a little longer.
