That castle system is perfect for what your doing I have the same one in my sand drag slash and to be honest it rips on nothing but 3s have fun and enjoy brother 💪
I'm pretty much doing the same thing as you are. I originally went with a Spectrum 85 amp system and it seemed slow. I swapped out to a 100 amp spectrum and hopefully the trans will hold together. It's all kind of an experiment for me because I just don't know enough about the DR10 yet.
This is definitely an experiment for me as well but that's some of the fun of custom building. I've been back and forth between the b5m and sc5m chassis at least 6 times now trying to decide. And I haven't even gotten to the transmission and axles yet
Yep! That's exactly what I do. Spent many years working on full sized vehicles and seen people just throw all the bolts in a bucket but I rather know where things go back instead of having to guess
@@FullThrottleRC yup I try teaching my son that he likes to throw the bolts and screws everywhere he don't learn. And he loves working on motors and stuff on his car. And loves to suffer putting it back together blows my mind 🤣🤣🤣damn kids don't listen 🤣🤣
@@josephybarra3555 I don't know if this setup would be powerful enough to keep up with what no prep ended up getting to honestly. The cars got crazy powerful
I feel ya, when it comes to working with small stuff I'm not the most dexterous hehehe 🤘🍻🤘
hey man great video. this is cool
Sand drags in Arizona were insane, used to go to the sand drags when I was out there with the airlines.
This will probably see more loose dirt than sand but it should still be pretty wild either way!

I'm hoping so. Hopefully it'll be a handful to drive!
i just changed my dr 10 setup to dat same esc with the 4 pole 6400 lv
Nice! This build is specially for dirt drags off road. Excited to tune esc a bit
How do you like it?

@@FullThrottleRC i though so. me too. im down in N.O. we have a few spot down here to run and really awesome no prep racing too
Looks like you like to do what I do when you take a screw out you put it back in so you know where it goes when you put the pieces back on

Would you do this set up to a no prep

@@FullThrottleRC you’re definitely right about that. These cars ain’t no joke in todays racing lol
which chassis is that
This is an SC5M chassis. Using B5M arms
