Digging it. Off road A arm design is fascinating regarding the upper and lower arms vs caster/camber and scrub. JEHC is a podcast that has roughly 8 videos on IFS design and theory. If you can stomach the length of the videos and take notes when they apply I am sure you can find some nuggets to help you further this build. Love this build and showing the progress on the redesign. 🤙👊

I'll have to check them out! I love suspension design so anything I can learn more about and check out I'm into it!

If you lengthen your Lower control arm some it should help with the camber and also help on akerman steering.

Lengthening the lower arm would also fix that bit of camber I have left! I realized after posting this video that I need to mock up the body first to see if there is any rubbing. Depending on how close the body is, I might not be able to lengthen any of the arms as it might push the tires out into the body

the upper arms you can move the pick up in the frame more in the middle to fix the camper problem

I'm thinking of shortening the top arm a bit and moving the pivot point on the cross member to hopefully stop it from skewing the camber much at all

I know all to well on making stuff work together I’m building a Traxxas trx4 based frame into a full blown drag truck using the 79 blazer body and shaved 3 pounds out of it was hard enough but making go fast stuff fit is another 😂

That's a lot of weight! Definitely should help you get up to speed quicker! Good luck!

Are you going to build an RCeveryday truck?

I don't really think so. I love what he's done with making the chassis so available, it's something I'd really like to do with my Bagged chassis. But I'm not happy enough with the chassis yet to put it out as a product. I don't really have a need for another truck right now as much as I like what he's done with that chassis

maybe instead of adjusting the length of the upper link to get the camber you want, instead adjust mounting point of the center cross member.

That would work as well. The links are a lot quicker to print than the cross member which is why I thought of just shortening them first

Looks like the top of the tire has to be tilted in a tad bit
