    I know sombody with a mulberry tree. Those things are great I tell you. Just walk up to the tree and start eating. So so good. They dont water it or take care of it. The tree takes care of itself and grows tons of berries.

    Wow - neat. I just took some cuttings from a mulberry tree that grows in Canada for my neighbour who admires it’s gorgeous golden fall foliage. I used rooting compound so we shall see what happens. It has never fruited all the years I’ve had it (maybe 8) but today when I went right up to it I saw one tiny berry so maybe it’s thinking about fruiting some day. Guess I’ll do more research on how to encourage it. This guy’s plants are growing like crazy and producing fruit right away.

Mulberry mush isn’t a joke. 😝 But, if you have a golden retriever they LOVE the berries and will help with the berry clean up. 🤣

    How long does it take to start fruiting?

    • @ostrichism1
      @ostrichism1 2 года назад +1

      Hi hilda it takes about 2 years to fruit from cuttings. It also depends on the quality of cuttings. I think thick cutting survive more just guess. I have three thin cutting and one about 3/4 cm. So see how it goes.
